  1. Arceus is exactly right, it is a bit irritating that the game doesn't give an error for that though :P I had the same problem because it looks like the last one doesn't belong with the other two.
  2. You are right, I think I even remember people not playing those quests because of getting those tasks before the block system was in place.
  3. So? I don't care if they don't look like what a cape "should" look like, or what a "normal" cape looks like - I love them for what they are. Their uniqueness appealed to me and made me want to get 99 in that skill. Erm I was not responding to you. I was just stating that I thought that they finally made the skillcapes look like real capes ;)
  4. ^or you could pm any mod/admin to ask for clarification :P
  5. those capes actually look like capes
  6. Or maybe stack tons of caskets from fishing/MTK if they still give clue scrolls, as the runewikia doesn't mention it on the casket page but does on the easy clue scroll page.
  7. You could never stockpile them (or at least that was the intention). I think this is because of old code which doesn't see those clues as different items if you would have more than one. Of course they can change it now, if they would want to.
  8. The only reason I guess would be the farming spot that is next to the boat at karamja (from musa point). Not sure if it is quicker to just lodestone teleport though.
  9. So, mind answering how :P? As to my knowledge you are able to get multiple clues as a drop but cannot pick up more than one. So either you are not explaining everything or it would sound like I am accusing you of something here...
  10. What? I thought you could only have one clue scroll at once? maybe he kept the caskets? Otherwise I have no clue
  11. Why would you block it? ....You can't expect to not get pked in the wildy. You answered your own question. A lot of players absolutely hate the Wilderness, even in its hayday a large portion of the game avoided it, let alone now that we've had around 7 years of minimal risk deaths for people to adjust to. Players hate real risk because its annoying. I used to hate anything to do with PvP and the wildy as well, until warbands came out. Once you know how to defend yourself, fight back and kill other players trying to do the same to you, you'll realize how fun and easy it is. If you choose not to do so, of course you will hate it. It's the same with plenty of things honestly, like how killing all bosses was made a comp requirement, but that's a different story. Erm, no. In the past I knew how to pk, I did it because I was a clan leader of a small dutch clan (pking was just one of the events), but still I didn't like it all. I am one of those persons that doesn't like rollercoasters, because I don't like the adrenaline pumping through my veins. Yes I get that from pking, even when I don't really risk something, which is why I try to avoid the wilderness at all costs (except for clues and quests). Also (in my view) most pkers didn't pk to kill skillers, but to kill other pkers. Yes you had the occasional tele blocker when you where training rcing, but most pkers would let you go through if they saw you weren't wearing anything. Putting things like that in the wilderness is only fun for a small amount of people, people that like to combine pking and skilling.
  12. They already tried that, it is called the HLF :P
  13. I have seen the suggestion more than once though :P and imo they should just give those seeds a better use, like who uses hop seeds? edit: confused myself about thinking I saw a suggestion about it, but actually read about the real thing.
  14. Does it go like this: Congratulations, you have received a rare new drop huge bounty on your head. RUN! Not really. There's an easy and obvious way (and possibly more) to prevent that from happening. Kinda screwed if you don't have 96 summoning though :D Then again, the wyrms are single combat, it's easy to tank it out and ROW out at level 30 wildy. Don't need 96 Summoning either. If you turn off private chat (or on friends) they would have to guess which world you are on.
  15. ^Lots of quest area's. But that is why I said that I am not sure if 2 minutes is short, so not sure why you are asking me that :P
  16. I completely agree with you. I still believe the times before gravestones existed were the best times. You had your two minutes and after that it was game over. I recently happened to read a bunch of nostalgic comments on a runescape video, there were so many people talking about their first time they died with all of their stuff at the mages south of varroc and how they learned a valuable lesson from that. They wouldn't have it any other way... To counter the disconnections problem, perhaps make a system that force logs you out or teleports you to a safe area when the connection is lost. Don't they already check if you are still connected every 5 seconds or so? Shouldn't be too hard to implement if that was the case. While I remember the good stuff about dying (also picking up loot from other players), there are also a lot of ragequit moments, which seems to be forgotten. I remember dying with an (for me) expensive armor at godwards and at contact when it came out... we mostly remember the good stuff when thinking back, we rarely remember the bad stuff. I personally think the systems should be combined. You have a short timer (2 minutes seems short? not sure) and after that you can buy your stuff back if you want to. That seems like a good compromis to me, and makes death more a penalty than it is now. Well, you shouldn't take something worth millions to a place you can get easily killed. That's just common sense. Except that the most expensive armour/weapons are most useful in those area's (PvM). Not that I do those kinds of things, yet :P
  17. The problem with no guarantee is that statistically if a large amount of people try to get such rare drop, there is a high chance that a few persons will never get it, theoretically you could spend for ever without getting it. An easy fix is to make it a fixed number which should be quite high. So that you can be sure to get one eventually even if you are extremely unlucky.

  19. If I remember correctly, I had this too. I think I clicked at the wrong place, but I am not to sure anymore.
  20. I think they did that a lot (and maybe still do) on the RSOF. But I am horrible at making art so I won't bother :P
  21. ^Turning off auto retaliate doesn't help if you have already attacked the NPC. Turning off the feature you are using because it is broken is not a solution to the problem.
  22. more like 8 dollars/euro's, except maybe if you live in Australia, in which everything is more expensive for reasons I don't know of.
  23. dragon plate is impossible to get on ironman :P unless you can get it from motherlode maw thingy. As for why its impossible, you can't enter blast furnace to buy the hammer required for smithing the plate. lol, didn't think of that... hope they will fix that. @Blaze, ironman can trade quest specific items for those two quests (and get bonds from players).
  24. You need something to pick as a baseline though. Do you really want a JMod going through manually and assigning values to stuff for ironman :P? (Ooh let's make a left dragon shield half worth 300M because it's super super rare!) I'd be interested to hear what people would prefer though. True, but I don't think a GE baseline would be good for ironman, as some things are difficult to get on ironman while they are easily buyable on normal accounts trough GE, GE price also depends on when it was released. I am not suggesting to make it easier for ironman, just more logical :P
  25. Also how will it work for ironman, which cannot use the GE. It would be a bit strange to use GE prices for ironman wouldn't it?
