  1. It seems the most logical to me that the reason why you cannot load the game is because your dad set those restrictions, they might be conflicting with the client loading things as well. Sadly the best thing to suggest to you is the same as D. V. Devnull is to try to talk to your dad. But I am sure that you already tried that option. Otherwise play it at other places (like a friend, or school if that is allowed to do).
  2. Well if it will be ironman only than please make it easy to find (and identify) other ironman to group with :P
  3. imo bossing should be allowed for ironman (it is content that is not meant for soloing), but it is kind of strange to only let other ironman team up with eachother. There are not that much ironman (and I assume that will decline as well), so I really hope people will not mass vote on "ironman only". But luck is in my favor, as jagex probably will count the first and second option as different (and don't add the values together), which means the "only ironman" voters will be split...
  4. Are you able to play online (directly in the browser)? This should be possible except if you are using a mac.
  5. Ah well guess it has changed since the last time I used it :P
  6. ^I am not sure if it changed, but going for maples on MTK is awesome, because you often already make profit from just selling the logs. But you will also get a lot of bird nests, which you can crush and sell, and often you get high tree seeds in there as well.
  7. The file should be there. Did you try to remove the launcher and install it again (be sure to remove the cache file again before trying to new downloaded launcher).
  8. If I am honest, that is probably because you seem to have a different mindset than most other people here. I am not trying to offend you, I think being unique is something to be proud of :)
  9. I know of: Romeo & Juliet being replaced by Gunnars Ground. Doric's quest being replaced by What's Mine is Yours. Sheep shearer and Witch potions being removed as quest (they still exist in the game as a mini-quest, which means no quest log and no questpoints) the questpoints were moved to Myths of the White Lands. If you did any of these before the removal you kept your questpoints, it just means you won't earn extra questpoints by doing the new quests (so everyone has the same questpoints)
  10. Your OSRS account is the same as your normal account (same name and login).
  11. I agree, it doesn't make sense imo, but seeing as many people do it, and they pay for it (so more money to jagex), why not. At least it gives more diversity in the game.
  12. Bots behave differently than humans, which triggers the botwatch of jagex. The better botwatch is, the more bots will be acting like humans. This means that either less bots get caught or more legit players get banned (or both), or that it takes more time to see if it is a bot or not (which will cost a lot more). There are a lot of different types of bots and some are easier to catch then others.
  13. Bank boosters and aura's, and a few more thingies (like wicked pouch), other than that no.
  14. You are right, it was loading normally though when I wrote that :P
  15. Seems to be fixed now?
  16. Their data would show that X% of players are willing to spend money, and of those players, Y% would be willing to spend money to quick-level their skills. X% * Y% then gives you the approximate percentage of the overall player base that would pay to quick-level their skills. Voila. Statistics. I know how statistic work, the problem is that most companies don't use statistics as intended, or simply don't have enough knowledge about it, but still do research. I read about "research" in newspapers so many times from which I can already read that the results are biased (for example only using a few participants, sometimes only one). Jagex could just say "this many people voted in favor of it" without mentioning the percentage of people voting no to the previous question.
  17. I am not sure anymore, but I think I said no.
  18. ^Except that they probably don't mark me as "no" on that specific question as I never answered it, because I skipped it by answering no on a previous question. It would not make sense from a survey perspective to mark all further answers as no.
  19. Ok here you go, kill 1000 crocodiles. No thanks :P
  20. It did in the past, not sure about now. But all level 2 clues don't spawn wizards, all level 3 clues spawn wizards to my knowledge.
  21. ^according to the search only skill guides and a tip.it times article: http://www.google.com/cse?q=104%2C273%2C166&cx=012172442310630617423%3Arvve24r-70w#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=104%2C273%2C166&gsc.page=1
  22. ^runescape would be pretty boring without stuff that have no purpose, think about it for a second. If you remove all land that has no purpose (for example a lot of the desert), then it would be pretty boring and would remove that kind of feeling those parts have. The same works with items, but then in a smaller sense, remove burned items and it removes that feeling of burning fish.
  23. ^See it as a reward for beta testing. I think there would be a lot less "testing" without that.
  24. So erm, is "smithing rework" allowed? I know that is not what you guys hope for, but I finally want them to update it, they keep saying they will but if they continue on this pace we will see a smithing rework being done in 7 years...
  25. There was a jmod that was all about cabbages, it kind of became a big joke, but I am not to sure about what exactly ad I wasn't playing at that point.
