If you look at al-kharid, I don't see any reason not to graphically update old cities. Of course I agree with you that they shouldn't be like ashdale, but I don't think they won't. I think they will keep their feeling, like they did with al-kharid (it even improved for me). Most cities are long overdue, and it saddens me that some cities gets updated multiple times (e.g. lumbridge) and some never gets updated (e.g. yanille)

I am liking Runelabs so far. The top 3 projects look great to me. However they should just be done all three as I think all three together would become a medium project. I am also liking the fourth one (addy and rune dragons), which seems like a medium project to me?

It is an NPC, a made character. But by all means, restrict yourself from parts of the game by not doing quests because you might hurt a fictional character.

I am all for option 1 if it works for ironman too (except for the xp rewards)

Cooking needs stuff like tuna potatoes, but then with less steps and more profit from making it. I still make tuna potatoes because I find them fun to make (also gives farming more meaning) and because they heal a lot.

Most of the old ones are not really interesting, though the worst ones have been fixed (or changed to a mini-quest) already, like doric's quest. And imo there are a few pearls in the newer quests as well ;)

I think they should just make the guidelines for the reqs and after that slowly change the reqs that don't fit the guidelines. That way it simply is not something because one group doesn't want it because they want to have it easier for themselves or less easy for others, but just so that it fits the guidelines (the guidelines should make sense of course).

That is the same as using coins, and you can have more shards than you will ever spend :P

My guess is that the largest amount of players are people that have been playing for quite a while or those that come back after a while. These two groups will pay anyway.

It doesn't matter for how long you left them be. They can only die in the growing process.

It is still only 80 euro's per year. Two (popular) console games will cost more than that, which if you are lucky (and don't play 16h a day) last half a year together. If they go higher than WoW I sadly think they will lose many people...

Nobody is ever too old to play a videogame. You may play this under the age of 13 if one of the parents is watching you play :3 (or at least that was allowed in the past)

I would say it is to quick to decide that runelabs is not working. They have yet to implement more functions to it (like the support function), which may fix those problems. Also I don't think much time will be spend on it, and I hope they put people on it which normally don't do content updates (like website staff, forum staff, community staff etc.). The one thing that worries me, they said that they will reset the amount of support on each idea after each month, does that mean those rubbish and old ideas will never leave? Do we really want a system that keeps collecting old ideas? I hope they have a system implemented in which if you get less than an amount of votes (say 5) your idea will be deleted (or at least make it so that you have to resubmit it). I for one haven't posted my idea, as I would like to see how the system works, this may not be the best time to put my idea on there and I am sure others might have the same idea on there as well.

I think the big protection for ideas like that (assuming they are good ideas, so not filtered) is that there are to many players for such thing to have a long effect. Also the top ideas get a poll in game, so it would probably lose in game anyway (and if it doesn't it was probably a good enough idea that could have gotten that far without the popularity contest).

Solo dungeons or vyrewatch corpses make sense to me, I don't know anything about sinkholes so I cannot say anything about that, but the last two just sound silly to me.

Yea, pretty awkward that hundreds of people couldn't read the instructions and see those topics aren't allowed People don't read stuff. I always feel kind of frustrated when I see players asking what the new update is in game, when they can just read the update on the front page... they are nearly always high leveled as well. When you ask them why, they say that they don't care to read it... So I rather thinking people didn't bother/care to read it and just posted those things.
