Well, yeah, there's exceptions to every rule, but for the majority of seasonals, the competition is extremely fierce, and there is often a huge gap between rank 1 and rank 2 (that usually suggests that rank 1 is cheating by account sharing/botting, or no lifing). Or that the second person just wants to keep his second place instead of going for first which he will never win ;) There is no tangible difference at all between spot #2-#100, so there's no reason at all in just wanting to maintain #2. There is also no advantage in holding spot 2 on the all time minigame highscores, but many do. It is because second place feels a lot better than 75th place

It's called being reborn. I know that many atheists don't believe in reincarnation but I do. I believe that when somebody dies, they will be reborn in a different body. Actually in the lore of the game you never die, ever. Mod Osbourne confirmed it, its why when you re-enter boss battles for example the npcs aren't like oh you again. It's like a little time loop do over, which does make a lot more sense once you factor in death taking you to the last hub you visited now. Did they also explain how the respawning of such mobs like boss battles work? As you already killed them :P Or would that be similar?

While RNG often doesn't make sense in real life, I wouldn't like RS if it wasn't based on RNG

The levels required for weapons do make sense imo. If the level of the weapon is higher it is more difficult to handle, and thus if you would use it under that level you would hurt yourself instead of the opponent. But yeah lots of things don't make sense, but it is a RPG, wouldn't be fun if everything made sense :P

So I haven't yet trained construction on my ironman account, it is level 50 by quests and xp lamps. I am wondering if there is a place where I can find good layouts for room placements (or post your own :) ). Because we cannot move around rooms and I rather not break down and rebuild rooms afterwards. Thanks :)

So Inventor is happening again? That is not really what they are saying, they are saying that the suggestions could be anything, so you can suggest a plan for inventor :P If it gets true then it might happen.

Kind of an empty month for me, I cannot do ports (as I have no skill at level 90). Boss pets seems only nice for people who boss a lot. So the only update I am looking forward to is the rework of the drop tables. Ah well I still have need a lot of time to catch up with this ironman account.

Now I hope the BTS for January will be better than this BTS :P

They just released a bts for 2015... nothing new really. Also I am surprised there is no word about the new client.

Well, at the rate people insist "old graphics were better!" continuously... Imo the only thing better about the old graphics is that they were at least more consistent around runescape. Especially quest areas haven't been updated in ages. The holy grail for example... (ugh those few polygons of the black knight titan) and for example I just completed Enlightened Journey and crashed because I forgot to move one step down at the last step. The island I crashed on had old looking trees. This makes old quests less fun. imo they should update the most outdated graphics when they are not part of something that gets updated in the future (for example whole varrock might get updated with the upcoming quest). They don't have to be big updates, as long as they update the oldest graphics I am happy.

Did you try to reset the router? Otherwise try if the same thing happens with an other router (by a friend for example). Not sure if you did this already but what also can help is to let your phone forget the internet connection (I know how to on an apple device, but not sure on other devices) and try again. If none helps it might also be worth it to go to a forum dedicated to the phone you have :)

I thought they said we are going to vote on whether we want invention or skill reworks (with the stuff that would be in inventor). Though from hearing them talk they already decided on skill reworks. Why poll something you already know the results from.

I guess it depends on the factor fun. If you like getting xp the best way possible, while being able to do other stuff macro is better. If you like being efficient for the specific method you use then micro is better.

^don't worry, you are allowed to have an opinion about it (and I am in no position to tell you that you cannot discuss it), you are certainly not the only one thinking like that, but previous discussions just ended up in fights (from my experience). Maybe it would be better that if we discuss this, it would be in a separate threat.

@swisscooler, please not this discussion again. We have had the same discussion for many many times here and most of the time mods had to come in between. Both sides kept disagreeing with eachother and it went ugly :|

I can still remember the falador graphical update though :P Everything was made white. This was when RS was still in fixed mode for everyone though.
