If you use the validator and have a two step login for your e-mail then a bank pin shouldn't be needed, because even if they get your passwords they cannot login because they would need your validator, they also cannot reset your validator as they would need the two step verification for your e-mail as well. If you don't use the validator and/or not have a two step login for your e-mail keep using a bank pin, because you won't be happy when you login and all your stuff is gone. Better be safe than sorry.

^I think that is because they don't fix the other skills when new stuff comes out. They just release a new skill and let other skill content die because the new stuff makes the other skills less worth it... Also they indeed said they were going to poll it, but the way they said it looked like it was already decided that inventor will be scrapped, they seem to assume that the rework side will win...

@Oddish, since you said somewhere that you were sad that rumble mode in dominion tower is not for ironman, I just listened to their podcast and they say that a solo rumble mode for ironman is currently in testing :)

It still practically is for Ranged combat, or players seeking free Prayer experience. I mean you can range spiders but you're going to need a *lot* of food. I remember training on hill/moss giants when I was f2p, but that was before EOC ;) Yeah but you outgrew those right? I'm pretty sure demons had more lp, unless I was mistaken. And before EOC I went to fleshies heh.. Nah I went p2p when I had every f2p skill 50+, and I never turned back to f2p ;)

I don't think we should be worrying about the experience from holiday events. I wouldn't care if holiday event didn't give any experience. It might actually be better this way. The event is about people coming together in one place (maybe working together maybe not, we can argue this separately) and completing holiday themed tasks for holiday themed rewards. My thoughts on this years events: I have no complaints about the Tinsel Snakes personally, but I am one of the people who steals from others and holds by tree until I get 10 then turns in immediately as I know it causes less to spawn. (hate me if you want, it is the mechanic)The Christmas Cracker in the Crater was horrible. I did actually manager to pull it. Just happened to see a post about it being close and hoped on at work... But this should definitely been handled better. All they had to do was set the limit lower to have it happen a few times a day and then just set it so the rewards could only be received once a day. There problem solved! But instead they need to set some crazy high number of needed wrapping paper pieces. This is the exact same as the issue with the Guthix Shrine, come on please learn from previous mistakes. (anyways I'm repeating others at this point).I also have not done Snowverload, but I can see how it would be a problem. I have a few ideas on how it could have been done better, but I'm sure we all do, so I wont bore you with mine. Just remove the xp lamps and give us snowballs to throw at eachother, sounds more fun, and don't make it that we have to come back every day in order to receive maximum rewards, now it feels like I have to do work for an event which should be all about fun. I want those silly mini-quest back from way back...

That's a good point actually - are the ironman accounts even eligible for either the xp lamps or the "tradeable" rares? That is something that I find strange, I received tons of lamps for this holiday. They nerfed halloween rewards for ironman but they don't seem to care about nerfing christmas :P I don't like XP lamps as a reward for holiday events though, they should be about the event self and maybe some clothing... so the snowballs would be great, if you just received some small stuff (like real snowballs) instead of xp lamps. But well I used them all on construction, as money making is a bit harder for ironman (haven't trained construction at all, only lamps :P )

It could work if you would need to import your save from the current game every time the beta world gets updated, that way people won't keep playing the beta world but will use the beta world for where it should be used for, testing :P

Probably low, but maybe less low then you would think, as the order doesn't matter and it also doesn't matter which colour has 5 or 4. Also the probability of someone getting it is quite high ;)

The leveling of smithing isn't boring. But You need to be 99 smithing to make level 50 armor... So you are always making junk (except for ammo/nails), while it could just be fixed by making rune level 40-50 smithing (which is what they are planning) Also construction needs a better building system, you should be able to move your rooms whenever you feel like it, instead of having to destroy everything.

Yup I rather have (in this order): Smithing revamp (been wanting this forever) Firemaking made usefull Construction revamp Maybe other tweaks for skills which solve outdated problems. After that we might want a the new skill just to make divination more useful... Also I would be sad if they just scrapped inventor and put inventor into the other skills... that sounds (and probably will look) rushed.

The need is not for the questions that have been answered, but for the questions that have not yet been answered, those can be hard to spot between the other threads.
