Interesting barrows note from the KB. Directly contradicts what mod Emilee says in the "Game Update FAQ - 14/09/11: How are Barrows drop rates affected by the new brother? By killing him, do you have an increased of getting all of the pieces or only his set? Mod Chris L: The barrows have some unique drop mechanics. Akrisae being in the barrows has not increased the chance of you getting all of the other pieces. As with the existing behaviour, you can only get Akrisae's gear from the chest if you killed the Akrisae barrow wight beforehand. This being said, his appearance has resulted in some interesting possibilities. The "best" chance at getting barrows gear from the chest is if 6 Barrows brothers have been killed. This still stands. So, for example, if you know you don't want any of Karil's gear, you can completely skip killing him, kill Akrisae and the other brothers (resulting in 6 wight kills) then head down to the chest where you stand the same "best" chance, except you've now removed the chance to get the gear you don't want." If you must kill at least 6 barrow wights for the best chance at an item, then technically killing 7 would still be the same chances of a barrows item as killing six and therefore still yields the highest chance of a barrows item... I don't care if killing him along with the other 6 results in higher chance of loot, it means that I have a higher chance of getting his really crappy excuse for loot. Trust Mod, The only reason you when should trust the KB is if you compare it to runescapeWiki lol. I don't understand why the KB drafts are not checked by the makers of the update before they go live...

No it isn't, although they say it is only for IE/FF on their website, there is a google chrome icon if you click on the page and I can download (on a mac) it with google Chrome and install it. I can't however with Safari :( And I don't want any other browser then Safari :P

Would be nice to see kingduffy reaching all skills 50M :D He needs only this: 6,1M Mining xp 26,8M Agility xp 10,0M Runecrafting xp 17,2M Construction xp He could get the mining and construction done in no-time. Agility and runecrafting are more difficult though :P

I suppose he would get a lot of xp while killing cave crawlers for effigies + charms, hopefully that is enough to reach 200m att and defence.

I'm on the same boat as you. The quest is green now for me, I freed Arrav but quest journal still says I can earn 3k pray exp when I find Arrav on the plateau.... The blue part is to show where you have to be for the quest, right click on the quest name and put that option off should do the trick.

I can't do the quest but I find some info in the FAQ ([qfc]15-16-871-63202569[/qfc]) which may be interesting: Especially useful for the runecrafting guide at the multiplier table

To be sure we have to wait 364.25 days (.25 because some years have 366 days (so one day extra divided by 4) and you know suomi values his last seconds, sorry to not have this calculated in seconds lol). We need to wait this long because SUOMI said it himself that we can only be sure after a year of not playing :P

Check your cookies preferences, I have no problems with the website saving which quests I have done.

Lol you want an 1m xp reward? I think those big xp rewards are big enough. You have 11m xp, I have over 275m. For you, 1m xp is a lot. For me, not so much. Its all in perspective. I'll wait for a guide. Homework then a game of LoL before class. Sounds epic though! Yeah but the quest doesn't require you to have 200m+ xp does it? So it is a lot for the quest reqs. Totally illogical attempt at an argument. Quest rewards are not tied directly to what is needed for the quest. And half a million xp is around 2-3 hours of skilling, if that. Lol, you are now saying that it doesn't matter if it is a GM quest or not for the rewards. So a novice quest could get 500k xp. Also try to get 500k runecrafting xp in 3 hours, maybe it would work with effigies but only if you are maxed. I think you're totally misunderstanding what Stonewall is trying to say. Stonewalls point in baby steps: 1m xp may not be alot to you as you have 275m total xp; but the quest DOES NOT require you to be anywhere near that high level wise. The reward IS massive if you are just on the requirement levels or a little over; you can't judge it against your current place. Its the same way when a new low end quest comes out you can't expect it to be give you millions of xp just cause you happen to have 200m+ total xp; the rewards are appropriate to the content level. Altough I don't understand what I didn't get (maybe my replies are misunderstood because of my lack of english), sy does sum up stonewalls and my thoughts, thanks for that :P

That doesn't say anything about them not re-opening classic, as far as i know it doesn't cost them that much (rather say nothing because they do not support classic anymore and you have to be member to play it, but it could be server costs). The fact that they don't say why they are not reopening it again is strange, that would be the first question someone would ask when reading that it is the last time.

The only way to find out is to try it. @BeNiceOk Read the thread :P What you are talking about is from the newspost, the other guys are talking about the in game quest list where they put down the full rewards (no idea why they keep it secret on the website but don't in game)
