Have fun you will be back in 2 weeks lol Lol i never said I will be unsubscriping (sorry forgot to mention it in the post) but I guess that if to many people quit they will at least think of deleting the refer thing, because I think they are just doing it for the money and if people are quiting they will get less money then they would get from the refer thing.

it won't help not to vote on them, they don't achieve much with it. What would help is a massive unsubscriping, but I don't think it will be massive enough for jagex (we just have to see what happens). But I think these are just teasers and we have to prepare ourselfs to the worse.

The only thing jagex gets from this, is the money, but I hope they see that this will lead to the quiting of many people (not me though, I don't care enough, it is a game). If they would stop the refer a friend thing they would at least give the players the idea that not all is lost and they listen to the players (at least a bit). But what I wonder the most is, what is next, I cannot believe this is the biggest they got up with.

Hi, Name changing, also not a kid :) Hi Toad, May I ask how you were able to bypass the 28 day waiting period for name changes (http://news.runescape.com/newsitem.ws?id=2270 - when one changes their display name, it's locked from being taken by another player for at least 28 days)? Did you coordinate this with the previous display name holder somehow? The player who previously held the "Toad" display name, who had fairly low stats, was gaining steady amounts of xp right up until August 17 (http://runetrack.com/progress.php?user=Toad). Then, on that day, they changed their name to something else, and you (with significantly higher stats) came in and took the name, thus making the stats appear to jump by such a great amount. This shouldn't have happened - it's not a common occurrence, and I've never seen something quite like this before. There should always be a waiting period of at least 28 days between the name changes - RuneScape shouldn't allow an instant swap from and to a display name (at least, according to Jagex). Also he might have a Jmod friend who he asked to change the name for him and they did it. I just love questing :P I have a questcape on my old account (essiw) before all those grandmaster quests came out (I have done WGS on that account but not the others) got the questcape for the first time just before as a first resort came out (runescape HD wasn't out back then I think) Then reclaimed it after the summer in the same year WGS came out. Now I am trying to get the cape on this new account :) P.S. Welcome to the Rune tips forum :)

Thanks :D But I am not sure if everyone understands that you could use normal items when you just remove the (o) part of it. But otherwise it would make it cluttered so I guess it is fine, this can be locked :)

After a year of playing (some months not playing at all because of school), I've finaly made my first goal. Level all skills 50+ and I would do every quest that is possible with my levels, I only have roving elves and mep1 left (which I can't do now because I don't have my good computer atm). Stats: (sorry for the potted stats, only saw that after taking it, had just finished a quest at someone else place, so forgot about it when I logged in at home) Questpoints: That is 30 days of playtime. Now before you say that it isn't much for a year, keep in mind that the 259questpoints took most of the time, not the 50+ skills. I was nearly always questing and sometimes doing skills, some of the 50+ I got whole from questing (or near 50). The firemaking and woodcutting levels are whole from bonus xp weekends (and evil trees) because I don't like wcing. Also woth mentioning I have 200+ MA points. So less then 100 to go. My next goals will be 60+ everything and getting quest reqs. Ultimate goal: Quest cape and finishing most of the minigames (including those 5k castle wars game... which I will be doing while making homework or other stuff lol...) Btw this account is pure P2P not ever I have been f2p except for the beginning of the account (which is at least two years ago because I already made an account for nothing back then) You can ask questions and if someone wants a bankpic I can try to post it :P Funny fact: I kill every imp I meet just for the small chance of a challenge scroll.

I'm pretty sure you don't I recall getting one while woodcutting after just coming back and having no idea what the stones were. I think you don't have to talk to them to start it but you can talk to them to stop getting them. Doing tears of guthix helps a lot too, the more questpoints you have the more xp you get (if you do it right).

It works fine on my ipod touch I can choose the style and then press "gereed" which is dutch for "done/finished" and it loads the new style. You don't have a button like that when you get the drop down? Also to ensure the page is loaded without javascript on. try to hard refresh the page (might be closing it and opening it in a new window) or try to shut down your phone completely (not sleeping mode) and put it on again which should delete RAM (and pieces of saved websites).

That bit? Cause I'd agree other than the last step it is utterly pointless, given that the guide already told you to convert to chimes and it is also pointless in tips and tricks as it features in the main quest guide. Also the key part: I partly think you may be right; but to my knowledge Golrie only features in the Waterfall Quest and that is a pre-requisite for this quest =S But based on other websites etc post-waterfall quest he shouldn't be locked in. Rather confusing! lol Yes that bit, sorry for the confusion :) Maybe you need to free him always? Or it could be because I did not yet do roving elves (which requires the pebble from him), or just because I dropped the pebble after the waterfall quest (he asked me if I wanted a new one). I can't check it right now but I will when I can (or someone else may do that for me :) ).

1) I think that is not needed in the guide because you don't need it to complete the quest and it is not hidden. 2) Should be changed, yes. Can't confirm the bones but would be strange if it didn't drop them. 3) The quest already mentiones that you get a ferret, but it doesn't mention the trap, which I can confirm you do get from him.

Correct me if I am wrong but don't you need to add garlic to the potion too? That would explain why you would only get half of the xp. Edit: Skip my post Sy explained it better then I did :P

You are right about that being very simple, but I didn't mean that part, I ment that the same is explained further (instead of just pointing back to the guide a whole section is made for it) in the quest and also in the tip section, furthermore it would be confusing for anyone to see crystal saw in the required item parts when they have already have changed it into chimes. So maybe it is best to remove the duplicades point back the step earlier in the quest to warn people that forgot it and delete crystal saw in the required items list after the part where they already have changed it into chimes (also make sure that everywhere where there is "saw" it should also say "seed".) And maybe even remove it from tips because it is already in the guide and pretty obvious for people going there. I didn't recall needing a key either but I did need it when doing the quest today, maybe I didn't do a quest yet on my new account that I did on my old account that would make the key part not needed.

At The Path of Glouphrie (http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=179) Above step 21 there is this: "Items Suggested: Armour, weapon, food, a prayer potion" Which isn't at the suggested items at the top of the page. Also it doesn't mention at step 3 that you need a key (which is in the boxes at the east of the cave) to get through the door. And there is some talking about changing your saw to chimes a lot of times, I think it could be written easier but I am not sure how to myself.

Thanks, while this is still open I noticed one more thing, the riddle "Without me, a deathslinger is merely a gorajo with a stick." Has the "(o)" part missing in the answer. And maybe it is worth testing if normal items work too with other riddles :)

Maybe for the last one the guide could suggest a bulls eye lantern wich doesn't extinguish (not sure which other lightsources work).
