  1. ...The future generation is disappointing. better then my first post? or are you a hippie? Both are just as bad, you seem to think human life is expendable. Which is quite dissappointing. Republican?
  2. Well, the Government is all about governing for it's people. With America's situation in Iraq i doubt they could venture into any campaigns like this any time soon. The president is probably already spread thin with his current war. Also add into the barbaric soliders in Sudan that they would be fighting against and I couldn't see the people of America going for this anytime soon. However, the UN should really intervene in situations like this. Their problem is calling up armys to help, thats the only option i see here to resolve the situation. If i where you I wouldn't be campaigning this too America but to the UN who can do something to help, and have an obligaion to do so.
  3. Gotta love the bicycle theives, that little boy in it should have been a star. And Sergio Leone was DeSica's assistant director!

Stop assuming you know the truth, that annoys me more than anything in the world. Your assuming Christians have knowledge over other members of society, when in actual fact you have only a belief. A belief is not knowledge. Knowledge is justified true belief. Your belief is neither justified nor true so stop assuming it is. You are infact the one sounding like an idiot because you are asserting your belief over other peoples when it is not knowledge. I have a belief that the Christian God isn't real, my belief is probably more justified than yours however it is not true, and I do not claim it to be true. This is one of the reasons why a society of religious people is set to fail, you call everyone else's belief stupid in the eyes of those who "know the truth" when you do not. So don't ever say you know the truth when you only know your belief. Most ask for "donations" and things like that. Look around your religion, people are making money from it. Like selling tapes of how you can get God to talk to you ect. You are being nieve. This is the worst argument I have ever seen. How many times do i need to tell you, casting aside intellect in a discussion leads to no discussion because you are basing everything on an intrinsic argument that "you have to be a beleiver to know anything". This argument does nothing for anyone except people who already beleive. Universal arguments are what you need, look some up.
  5. Exactly, it's human nature for the majority too rule the minority. The minority are those who think they have seen aliens. So the majority oppresses them.
  6. Kind of like, you can't rely on humans but you can rely on humans to be humans. right, one uf us is confused, and i think its me. (13, puny mind) Government counts on human nature too label people who beleive in aliens as wacko's. Therefore they use the majoritys power to silence and judge the credibility of those who speak out about aliens. So in actual fact, we are doing the Governments job by making all the people who see aliens out to be weird and therefore uncredible.
  7. Kind of like, you can't rely on humans but you can rely on humans to be humans.
  8. America would be nowhere without it's immigrant workers and mishmash of cultures. However, they probably should speak the English language to be allowed in.

Defender, your arguments like "I wanted a new house, got depressed and God allowed us to get one" and "My sister had a bad car, therefore i prayed she'd get a better one and look she did! And she doesn't need to pay anything for it for 2 weeks!" are intrinsic and therefore mean nothing and are worthless to anyone who doesn't beleive in God or that God wouldn't buy you a new house or a new car. Try giving us some universal examples of how God is real, meaning they can be seen by everyone. Like the design in the world, so we can actually discuss things instead of you telling us how God gave you material possessions. Which actually, doesn't count as an intrinsic argument either as it's not an argument, it's just a pathetic assumption that you prayed and you got. Not even something worthwhile praying for, try world hunger then get back to me once thats wiped out.

What message, like "Be good" then they fabricate a story around that?
  11. See, nothing bad can come of old farm houses with mysterious barns containing hidden secrets!
  12. Satenza replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
So really they beleive in the message of man?
  13. Satenza replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
Why do they beleive it is the message of God if written by man?
  14. Wrong forum, and i suggest you just throw them in tipiter events since the discussion for changing that was never done.

Three Burials bored me to death, i almost felt like being mistakenly shot but then thrown in the trash.
  16. Becker or Fraiser. Anyway isn't this more Music and Movies?
  17. I beleive God wants me to kill people who don't beleive in God! By your standards I am able to do so, because i really beleive this is what he wants.

Exactly, it's no argument it's faith. Faith in an argument like this isn't an argument, and therefore that statements pointless. It's just like saying you need faith in your God to prove God. Intrinsic arguments prove nothing to anyone except to those who already beleive. Edit: And yes, we can disprove the Bible because it wasn't written by God but by men.
  19. Satenza replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
And therefore no scientific argument can be applied to God. That argument is stupid. It requires you're beleif in God to prove God.
  20. Never tell anyone of your stupid suspections then. How could i possibly judge a entire race when we are talking about 100 people? How could you even get to that conclusion?
  21. I'll see if i can track it down, all sold from Play.com. Anyway, Taxi Driver was on last night on Film 4, so i decided to watch it despite having the DVD. God those adverts are annoying. I love Taxi Driver it's Scorsese at a nice raw level like he was at in Mean Streets. His newer films continue to be great, but i just love how raw his earlier films are.

Tarantino is massivley over-rated. And if you wish to see a Kubrick movies that sucks, watch Eyes Wide Shut. My favourite director is Elia Kazan and Orson Welles.
  23. See, now you're turning this into something else entirely. No, I most likely wouldn't go up to that person that has a chance of murdering me but just because one black male is a murdurer does not mean I would avoid the whole culture. You should take every individual on face value, not just make blanket statements like I'm going to avoid all of culture 'x' just because an overwhelming minority could harm me. But Thats a 1% chance. It's exactly the same. 100 Black people, 1 was out to murder you, It's a logical reason to stay away from that race, it's not because they are black or i feel i am superior too them. It's because there is a pretty good chance i could be killed it has nothing to do with what race they are. By the way, this is hypothetical, i don't stay away from black or any type of race. Because this is a hypothetical argument, and we are talking about murder not theft. And there are Billions of black people, not 100 and the odds of a black person wanting to kill me is not 1/100. You can deal with hypotheticals all you like, I'd rather model my behaviour on what happens in the real world. I was given a hypothetical scenario. Where did you get thoe figures Grim_Jokes? And it doesn't matter anyway, this is a hypothetical issue of murder not theft. So what the hell are you talking about?

It would be the same if I was left alone in a room of 100 blond girls, and one was out to murder me. I'd stay away from them because it's logical to do so. I don't think you know what discrimination is really. Because this is a hypothetical argument, and we are talking about murder not theft. And there are Billions of black people, not 100 and the odds of a black person wanting to kill me is not 1/100. That statement has nothing to do with anything i said, and now you are attempting to put words in my mouth.
  25. Would you go up to a person knowingly that there was a definate 1/100 chance he could murder you?
