I don't find FM incredibly fun, it has no variety in training and like a lot of other skills it gets repetitive. If someone wants to click mindlessly for hours on end then they shouldn't be playing the game, but people should understand that there are people that do enjoy training it and we shouldn't put a damper on their achievement just because we can't see the fun in that skill. I see people get 99 RuneCrafting, and I think "why?". Obviously they enjoy training and receiving the cash rewards it brings, I shouldn't put them down just because I hate the skill.

It's been nine days, I think this deserves a bump.

Well I just saw something on a thread about building Capes of Legends (3 teak planks, 1 legends cape) and unless my calcs are off it seems better than oak doors. I'll be using SC hammers, so the materials needed for 99 are cut in half. 91036 oak planks -> 99 60691 teak planks -> 99 Cost of oak planks = 39,418,588 Cost of teak planks = 45,700,323 Cost of using teaks instead of oaks = 6,281,735 To me it seems worth it to pay the extra 6M, but maybe I've worked it out wrong?

I could always throw in a few hours of NPC trading to break up GWD or whatever, but what other examples are there that can actually make up to 400k/hr?

GWD sounds fine to me, but how should I do it? Solo? Team? If I was to get a team, what boss? An RSOF team, or do I join a clan? I've never GWD'ed seriously for cash before if that helps. ;)

I'm looking for a way to make decent money per/hour, either something that is consistent at 300k - 400k per hour or something like GWD that has big payouts. If possible, I'd rather not have something that gives Ranged or Magic experience but I'm not too fussed. I need to make a lot of money (around 100m+) so I want various methods I can switch to in case I get bored. Thanks.

I remember this blog vividly, to be truthful it probably planted the seeds that took me from 60 - 70 Construction, then 70 - 80 and hopefully soon 80 - 99. Good luck getting your dream house, and good luck with 99 Farming. Keep at it Tripsis, I'll be watching this blog with keen interest. ;)

The objective of the post wasnt to question the meaning of the word, which as I stated earlier is perfectly proper. The objective is that if Jagex keep recieving comments such as the ones I posted, will they bow down and change the comment.... Why should they change it? They aren't saying anything racist or suggestively racist, you wouldn't ask them to change a quest cutscene where your character discovers a [racist term] in his/her armour due to some evil magic because it is racist would you...

Wow, seriously... People on the RSOF can be immature, but this is actually ridiculous.

I can't see how the five minute timer is useful, and why is everybody raving about it. Like a couple of people have mentioned, it will probably guarantee your death if you disconnect whilst MHing or during a dangerous activity. The timer we have now is fine, people should pay attention to the screen every minute or so whilst fishing or woodcutting. It isn't hard.

I like the idea of an upgrade year, although I had hoped they would reveal a few of the things they planned to release. January looks like fun, I wasn't expecting another AD so soon!

Omali beat me to it, but yeah this is obviously a sailing update. Of all the skills for the glitch to happen to, RC and Mining. These are easily the two most related to it. SAILING FTW!!!!!1111!!! :D

Now, the SC game is something I love playing and 99 Construction seems like a nice goal. So, combining the two makes sense to me. Will using hammers all the way with oak planks save me half the money (about 38M)? How many will I need, approximately? What is the method for using hammers, do you wait till one is drained and then get another from the bank or do you have multiple in your inventory? Thanks! :thumbup:

Nah these will be released yearly simply because its easier to keep on top of everything that way and are actualy good games and unlike most series they actually change. Actually change? You're being sarcastic right? It's the same game year in year out with the odd slight change each year with a 60 euro price tag. The difference between FIFA 08 and FIFA 09 made it well worth the £40 I paid to update, and I'd still buy the new game every year for the updated graphics and tweaked gameplay (not to mention the roster changes).

Well it's been a week since my last post so I thought it would be ok to bumpitup. :twss: I haven't logged on much really, I went to TD and killed a couple and then some. It was good fun until I started getting lag, I might make a goal of soloing all three pieces for my own D Plate. It would be cool, but pretty difficult and I'm not sure I could stick it out. 99 Strength is something I need to complete for my own sanity, but I don't want to stay around AZ and SC anymore so I might do some Bandits or Abyssals. I'm not sure tbh. :P

For me it has been Summoning and Stealing Creation, along with the first Grandmaster Quest.
