I'm getting myself a new PC soon, but I was wondering which of the following is the best RAM to put in? The second one is £50 more expensive and I don't know if the extra speed warrants that boost in price. I'll be using the PC for some top-end games, but nothing amazing. 4096MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM - (2x 2GB) 8192MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM - (4 x 2GB)

Just wanted to bump this and let people know this goal isn't dead, just been busy irl with stuff so I haven't had a lot of time to get stringing in. Tomorrow I can do a bit, but realistically I can't see myself getting back into the swing of things until Monday. ;)

Just had a couple of questions about the guide, quite interested in trying this out as a method of training Ranged. ;) -What is more important in your opinion? Armadyl armour or a DFS? -What tasks would you recommend blacklisting? -What is the average estimate of exp/hour? Thanks. :)

RuneCrafting or Mining, most probably RC though.

I enjoyed the articles on Construction and Hunter, they really emphasised the important to me of training skills you enjoy and not for capes or 'respect'.

The exp rates will make this guide near perfect imo, such a useful addition to the guide.

I know the quality of your work is really high so if you want to try again that'd be awesome, but I know you have a lot of orders at the minute so don't feel obligated.

Heh, exactly the reason I levelled my firemaking from 87 to 90! I'm worried all this stringing will get me 81 Crafting, cos then I'll feel obliged to get it to 85 or 90. :P

I would say raise Construction, but only so you can mount that Abyssal head and give it a use instead of just sitting in your bank. :P Congrats on the awesome levels, Bauke said exactly the right thing concerning money imo.

I usually go in my clans CC if anybody is in there, but I have IRC so it isn't a big deal.

Dust Devils would be good at your levels, although they aren't amazing crimson droppers.

Just bumping, grew a chameleon and been reading Misfile to pass the time. Stringing is nice xp and relaxing. :thumbup:

I feel your pain smellsocks, nearing 10k kills myself without a single head. It isn't as much as some people but it is frustrating to see people with so many heads and not one put up in their house when I so desperately want one. #-o Congrats on the nice clue and two meds though. :)

SGS all the way for me, there is no need for food anymore when training and the free prayer boost is extremely helpful.

I'm pretty sure the level 3 helmet has three scratches in the top of it whereas the level 1 has only one scratch.

With the southern spot, I would take 3 unicorn pouches, idk how many scrolls (would just withdraw all but 1), 9 prayer potions, 1 super restore (for summoning points), and 4 sharks. It would take ~3 hours to do, and I'd get around 20 kills/hr like you said. I always struggle near the end of my first unicorn pouch, as I've eaten all my sharks. Is there any way to anticipate when the demon is about to change attack style? Even with 99 Defence and a super defence it often hits me for a high 20 before I can change prayer? Do you bring stat boosters btw? (Sorry for all the q's)

10/10 for sure, I've been using the southern spot as shown in your last picture but I only manage around 20 kills an hour. I stay for one unicorn then I tele, is that good? :P I'm hoping the darklight trick nerf doesn't affect my kill ratio too badly, still want my first claw drop badly.

Did I hear firemaking cape? (I actually did, since that's where I met you, you were setting logs on fire in Edgeville world 99 and you were going for 99 firemaking.) A birdy also said full dragon once :lol: But ohwell, I can't blaim you, Rs should remain fun, no point in doing things you don't like. 99 Firemaking... 90 is enough for now! :P I'm stringing jewellery for 99 Magic, it is about 100k exp/hr and will cost me 16M which isn't bad. I'm not thinking about goals to have afterwards, I'd rather just concentrate on this at the moment because it is pretty afkable and quite enjoyable. I'd just get distracted if I look to things after this goal already, although I can say that any goals in the future will be less long term than things I've challenged myself to do in the past. ;)
