Who said that if you didn't pay you couldn't play? Oh, no one. :roll: I think the general idea people are getting across is that they don't want updates for F2P because they don't pay, not that they shouldn't play at all because they pay a subscription fee. You need to read more carefully before you try to get on your high horse.

I don't think you understand marketing either, if F2Pers have nothing to do then they are more likely to consider members than if they are completely absorbed into a free version that offers them so much that they can never finish it all. Personally, it isn't about Jagex making money or how many members we have. I pay for my membership, therefore in my opinion those that don't shouldn't get updates unless it is things like Bounty Hunter or the SoS. You do realise as well, that the ads are only there to subsidise some of the costs of F2P servers? Sort your arguments out, it was hard enough to understand what you were writing...

If you want something to kill with lootshare, I can recommend the KBD or the Dagannoth Kings. There is also GWD, but that is more high level than what you are suggesting here. If you want to kill something with a team that badly you'll buy members, if Jagex kept adding content to F2P that isn't balanced then they wouldn't make as much money.

Thanks for the posts guys! I'm going to camp at Abyssals in the alternate-abyss, I think it should easily get me the 2k crimsons left for 88 Summoning if I stay there 96 - 99 Strength, maybe even more. It is also right next to the fairy ring (duh) so it is easier for me to top up my MTK rating. :)

Plus the fact that it's very common now. I see 50 times as much slayer capes than untrimmed hp ones. And that means what exactly? I'd rather have 99 Slayer than Untrimmed HP, it shows a better achievement imo. Congrats on 99! :)

Was 50k away from level so I went to Abyssals and got this: Got about 1k crimsons now, not in any rush particularly to get the last 2k though. Trying to pick up a job irl right now, so I might even quit in a month or two if my plate is too full with schoolwork etc.

Although I have never been a Pker, I think PvP worlds will offer a fun experience. I like the idea of holding down a building with your friends, and avoiding players whilst skilling. Obviously I won't want to risk my whole bank (some people will), but even in less expensive gear I'm sure it'll be great.

I wanted to get Far Cry 2 for my birthday, but my parents wouldn't buy it me 'cos it has an 18 rating. I could really easily go behind their backs and get it (they wouldn't check what I'm playing) but I'd rather just respect that and wait a year.

F2P don't need this update, and if they want to kill boss monsters they can pay for members like the rest of us.

Thinking of going for 99 Strength after I'm done getting 88 Summoning, seeings as I still want an SGS I'm looking at methods that provide a decent exp rate and profit. Slayer is off the list cos I'm kinda of sick of that right now, but I right now I'm considering: *Abyssals *Ghostly Warriors *Ankous Any ideas? :)

Apart from looking funny or showing others your participated in the event, the Holiday Items will never have a use. You aren't going to get a whip-style weapon for free, or an item that lets you have unlimited teleports to Varrock. I don't use my Holiday Items daily, but sometimes I like getting my Rubber Chicken to whack people with purely for nostalgic value. Do people not appreciate things in this game unless it boosts levels or cashpiles?
