Don't think its pure profit, there are many costs involved with running Jagex as there are with running any other company. Anyways they aren't gonna have a million members consistently each month especially not for 50 years, right now its the peak months since most kids are out of school or almost done school, im sure once september comes around the number of members will significantly decrease. Also i agree with you they wouldnt sell it if the number of members would continually increase but it just wont, eventually many of the people that are playing now will lose interest and the rate at which new players come into the game will not be enough to counteract it.

There is no way runescape will be around for 50 years. I would say that probably within the next 5-10 years Paul and Andrew will sell their stakes in Jagex and rs as we know it will slowly die.

The only way to get get black plates is from the platebody store in Varrock, in f2p at least, and i think the knights in the fortress thing in the wild just north of the monastery drop black scimitars. BTW armour and weapon stores do restock.

In most people's cases its not that they don't have the money, its usually because they don't have the means to pay and/or they aren't allowed.

Members only items have no effects on free worlds.

The maze is the same every time, its just where you start in the maze is different. Its pretty easy, you just keep going through the doors that lead to the center, but there actually is one part where you have to go through a door that leads away from the center, that messed me up a few times.

I don't remember them stopping, im pretty sure if you go back through the last few months you'll find those at the end of most updates, and if there isn't maybe there weren't any made :-s , just a thought.

Yea, supposedly silverlight is as strong as a rune long against demons, not dragons though, so if you have the option of using a dragon weapon you should go with that.

Seeing as you both use the same computer why don't you just get rid of the program. I would also probably run spybot and a virus scan cause usually when you dl macros that usually isn't all you get.

Whenever im skilling or just wandering i always wear my full mime.

I'd say either runecrafting or crafting because they're both quite tedious, if i were to pick one though i'd go with runecraft.

Its pretty much completely random, but i guess if you mine something that doesn't take too long to mine and that regenerates fast, like iron or anything lower, you'd probably get more gems since you'd be getting more mining in a shorter amount of time than the rocks higher than iron that take longer. Not sure if this makes any sense to you but ya...

You can get them though, you just have to buy it from another player and its not too hard to find sellers. People sell them anywhere from 500gp to ive even seen as high as 5k.

I actually tried this with one of my noob accounts last easter and when i logged back onto it after the easter event was over i was on the surface where the hole used to be.
