Yea, this seems to work a majority of the time, especially when the rock is really stubborn. I don't think this actually works, ive heard of it and tried it a few times but i haven't been able to get it to work.

Nice to see all this support :) I was thinking of adding pictures and perhaps a preliminary list that you guys could help me fill in especially you members since i've never been a member before i'll need some help with the members items that could be used, seems like will beat me to it though I'll check in again and maybe add some stuff after midterms are over -.- That could work, but since there are already tiaras it would be kinda redundant.

thats not the fastest because you need to mine the clay, wet the clay, form the clay, then fire the clay. making hardleathers you just need to get the hides, tan the hides, then use a needle on the hard leathers. I never said it was the fastest, also like i said earlier i never tried hardleathers, all i was saying was that this is both cheap and ive found it to be reasonably fast. After seeing Captainkidd's method i may have to try hardleathers out though :-k

:-s when you high alch steel plates you get 1200gp, so you would gain 200gp...unless you are adding the value of the nat rune, which i think is what you're doing To my experience I haven't been able to find many ppl selling large amounts of steel plates and often times since many ppl know the high alch value they usually arent willing to sell at 1k each.

ya i really like the sound of that, i dont like doin walking, feels like wasted time so any idea how fast this is compared to buyin hardleathers or doin tiaras? I've never done the hardleather method but this is definitelty faster than tiaras because with tiaras you'll be spending alot more time walking and also the regeneration of silver is comparably alot slower than clay which is like iron maybe even faster and to my experience i havent had much competition for clay.

I've been mining pretty much non stop for the past few months constantly getting uncuts, while thinking of how useful it would be to have a chisel around without having to waste an inventory space. Now the idea just came to me for a pocket slot where you could equip one small tool like a chisel, hammer, etc. So thats pretty much my whole suggestion, pretty self explanatory :-w How it will work: The item you have equipped in the pocket slot will be automatically recognized, just like pick axes and hatchets. So say you have a chisel, it will automatically be recognized that you have that item and so all you have to do is click on the uncut gem to cut it, just like when you have a pick axe equipped all you have to do is click on the rock to mine it. How it will look like: List of Possible Items: -Hammer -Chisel -Knife -Tinderbox -Secateurs (magic secateurs must be wielded in hand for bonus) -Needle -Saw (Crystal or normal) (Sticks out of pocket) -Pestle and Mortar (Sticks out of pocket) -Shears -Trowl (sticks out of pocket) -Seed Dibber Idea by will_holmes: *NEW ITEM* Abyssal belt (placed in pocket slot, but appears as a belt. Can add abyssal pouches to it for 4 extra slots, dropped by abyssal monsters after dropping giant pouch, 90 RC to use!) Credits: will_holmes

I think making bowls in the crafting guild is a reasonably fast and cheap method of leveling crafting since everything you need is there.

what did they take from fma (full metal alchmist, that is what your refering to right?) Maybe the two alchemy spells, the homunculi? even though those ideas didn't originate in FMA. :?

Dwarven Mines is definitely the best and bank at Falador east bank.

Thats the one, and yes you do need dragon slayer because it is just another type of rune armour.

I'm impressed, after 3 days you've already answered about a hundred questions :shock: give or take a few and discovered one of the most important things about RS that you'll probably ever figure out. I know during my first days of RS I was all caught up just trying not to get owned by that Goblin (level 3), but I guess now with the tutors things are alot easier to figure out
