Well - the easy answer is to your question Low levelled. Would you leave a 2 year old kid by itself in a room for 8 hours? Considering that a kitten that has been weaned off it's mother is probably as mature - the answer is no. I hope for your sake you take a few days off work to allow the cat to get used to the new environment you plan on keeping it in before returning to work otherwise you will have one sad cat. If anything ask your roommates to keep an eye on the cat or atleast let the cat roam the house - don't keep it just in your room. For the first day - when you are with it, keep it in your room with the litter tray and food bowl and water e.t.c and it's bed. And then on the 2nd day leave your door open so the cat can see that there is more to it's new world and it might want to explore for a bit (you don't have to force it too). It will hopefully begin to know where it's litter tray is by then and hopeful won't shit all over the house. Or don't get a cat until you are with people who actually really want a cat. That being said your roommates will probably want to play with the kitten because who doesn't!

Unless BD is a Sociologist that uses high sample-number 'case vs controls' then Squab is allowed to refute BD's claims. Countering with "What inferential statistics do you have to prove BD wrong?" isn't going to make Bd anymore correct, seeing as that "BD" has not performed any inferential statistics to prove that he is also correct, or has found anything that is significant enough to suggest otherwise. Squab (I assume) is recognizing that BD's "case study" is handled in such as way that he doesn't agree with. Squab does not, and likely, will not have any empirical evidence to suggest that BD's conclusions are incorrect, but BD has no empirical evidence to suggest he is correct either.

While we are on the topic of Tinder dates. You may remember me mentioning that you should buy a certain t-shirt as it got me a date about 2 weeks ago. So I had that date about 2 weeks ago and it was simultaneously a disaster and a success at the same time. So I get to the meeting place on time and she shoots me a text like "Sorry, I can't make it - something came up, I will be free in 2 hours" (OWTTE). And me being me and having nothing better to do decided to just buy a book from a charity shop and wait the 2 hours out at a park (it was a nice day) - I sent her a text saying, "let me know what's up at 3pm" because I am a cool cat. 3pm rocks up, we meet - the date is shambolic, that's all I was going to say (she thought so too). So we decide to go have a walk around the park (which conveniently leads itself near to my house) - I invite her in for tea. And then we had sex. 11 month dry spell broken. All in all, in a space of a week (5/5 - 12/5) I had had 6 tinder dates organised with 6 different ladies, 2 of them flaked on me, 1 date went okay, 2 went meh, and the worst one was a resounding success. Moral of the story: Tinder is terrible but also amazing. Addendum: Since then I have seen said woman many times since, she has taken a liking to me.
