Out of sight, out of mind. Drop the connections (un-friend on FB, remove their Family from FB, delete their twitter/insta e.t.c) and you will feel more wholesome in the long run. It is easy to revel in the downward spiral that can occur post break-up but for your personal sake it is better to just get on with your own life. It's easier to be strangers than it is to be awkward-"platonic" friends. Albeit, going from lovers to strangers is, unfortunate to say the least. But you will stop being a "bitter-twisted" Ex quickly if you stopped caring. SideNote: He rebounded fairly quickly, you weren't missing out on much.
