  1. My thoughts exactly. I don't have the time to bother with games I have to pay for every month. I hope you don't like that sort of payment plan. You're gonna live by it. Anyway, for $15 for a new MMO seems much. $10 would be reasonable. In fact, I think no MMO should be more than $10 a month.
  2. Those were the exact ones I avoided. :---) And damn they were like 80% of them.
  3. Making a 9/11 joke so close to the event in a pro-American forum... Touché. You got balls.
  4. I vote BlueLancer for Senator. That post is the only one fair to both sides and not full of BS.
  5. This is pretty much the best post on this topic. Don't waste your money on video games, you grow out of them (or at least I did, rather quickly), and you can find much better things to put your money towards. You don't need to spend money just because you can Everything in these two posts is the best advice here. As a older person (18+) you should be saving that money, as a younger person (18-) you should be investing it accordingly. Assuming you're under 18, getting out of high school will come eventually and you DON'T want to be behind socially nor financially.
  6. The only one with a problem is Dubai:
  7. Either way people are gonna die. The army isn't the only murderer or protector there. Was Vietnam such a huge failure for us? Strictly focusing on American issues, how many US troops, citizens, and US debt did we loose after 1975 in Vietnam? And ten bucks this won't happen remotely this year.
  8. Gah fell for it. :-X
  9. We got a plan for an Icelandic invasion too. :ohnoes:

Stayed up all night working on a new movie idea. I always feel the most motivated, most positive, and most outgoing at night.

what if they are constantly reading their own stuff? or what about people in publishing who read tons of other peoples unpublished stuff? All writers are readers. Not all readers are writers. If you're "learning" to write by reading your own writing, then it either won't be very good, or it doesn't exist. If you read only your own stuff you're being stubborn, ineffective, and only hurting yourself. If a writer truly wanted to become better, they would take the time to read and study the works of others.
  12. "The Tsar Bomba's fireball, measuring 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) in diameter, is said to have touched the ground and nearly reached the altitude of the deploying Tu-95 bomber." [Hide=The Area of Destruction] [/hide]
  13. Lots of N64 lol. Good console though. Oh, and Banjo Kazooie.

He probably lives there. I myself would like to know more about the history of southern California, but There's too little records it seems. One day I plan to go to one of these historical houses musems they have around; that'll probably have something.

Has anyone else thought about how past generations would react to current technology? I can picture myself getting hanged for working with the devil if I brought a talking smart phone but praised and bribed to share the technology of machine guns to a general.

The ancient age with the Romans: Rome and Carthage are tow cities I would love to see. The similarities between our political and socialities with the Roman Republic are a lot. Then 1492-current times are great too. Exploring the world, adventure in the Americas, the Colonial Age, Enlightment, and modern era all good times too.
  17. I don't like the whole "I can't like cartoons", period. Between kids shows on Disney and Nick to adult shows like South Park and Family Guy, is there really much choice between the two? (American cartoon wise). The gap has to be filled with something, I tell ya.
  18. Oh nothing, eh? :-) Something certainly beat up Spongebob in your avvy. [bleep]ing disgusting mess. Phineas and Ferb beats Spongebob though. By a long shot. You guys watch some really boring shows. Phineas and Ferb? Talk about disgusting messes. Try some ICarly out next time you watch tv. iCarly? Seriously? Who hacked Zierro's account and is trolling with it? :ohnoes:
  19. Haha, I was wondering if somebody won't catch that.

  21. It's Mao's Communism that's what it is. Serephurus, please enlighten this pig.
  22. Considering you empty your bowels when you die and blood and other materials don't move (moving objects add mass)... I'll say expecting the same weight alive as dead is pretty foolish.
  23. I never liked the idea or favored the idea of a soul. A mind, sure, body of course, soul? No. Its pointless really, your mind is pratically your soul in the first place.
  24. The guy's face in the last pic: LMAO.
  25. In that I would go out proving my rightousness. Not much too loose, right.
