    I'm glad I'm outta High School. Education-wise, it wasn't good. People-wise, fun fun. But I don't I can handle it for 8 hours a day anymore. <_<
  2. Isn't it possible that possible other life forms are much smarter than us, so therefor developed more quickly? Don't forget the Flying Spaghetti Monster or other fast-than-light-traveling demigods.
  3. I know, right? "Cyber police"? That sounds stright off from a meme.
  4. Yes, it's worth money to keep murderers and rapists away from the rest of society. Also, I have said that those programs could be used for petty crimes. But criminals who are a threat shouldn't be pampering around, continuing to do more crime. No, they should be taught how to be a productive member of society, Stopped reading right there. I don't know about you, but I most certainly won't trust them back into society if they committed a heavy crime. You're talking about the money spent in prisons. I'm thinking about the money spent on the medieval jails where they didn't have roomy cells, TV, "free time", and such. Yeah, why not drag all of society back to the dark ages? Why not adopt out of date practices on the grounds that it will save money? Tell you what, we can adopt any system you like, as long as you spend 10 years in it first to simulate a wrongful conviction. I don't know why I enter TIF debates, I must of been really bored. People just love to asssume, like to me, as if I wanted to trade our current courts and prosedures to that of the middle ages instead of the idea of a simplier prision system. So yeah dude, keep assuming and right. You are da man.

  6. But didn't it say she started "trolling" and acting like fangirl first? That's something I hope she learned not to do online. Though she and her parents are better than Anon: giving a 11 year old death threats, WTF.
  7. I hated that rabbit. I always wanted him to suffer a horrible fate of what he did to Catdog. He pissed me off so much. <_< But that's just a good character, production-wise. I liked the show though.
  8. Course it's not acceptable but what are we going to do.

I figured that would be higher for you man.
  10. Considering the Earth's core is a buttload of iron and nickel... Their Toys R Us might want more toy building material.
  11. Unless they already know there's millions of intelligence specices and we're faced with an Avatar-like situation... But WE'RE the Navi! :ohnoes: I bet that thought amuses some people...
  12. That show was awesome. I grew up on Nickelodeon. Rocko, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Rocket Power, the old Spongebob, Catdog, and others that I cannot think of right now. :-| Non-Nick shows were like Dexter's Lab and a bit of Courage the Cowardly Dog. Never watched Ed, Edd, and Eddy, much of the Disney/Looney-Toons shows, or 'superhero' shows. That may affect what I'm about to say below. It's interesting to note, that Rocko's Modern Life was like the predecessor to today's cartoons. (Again, maybe just some) -The majority of their staff went on to make their own shows or continue working in the industry in several popular shows today in high positions. (Which in some shows you can clearly see the influence from Rocko) -Most shows after this used a "permanent setting" story. Meaning, the plot and characters revolved around a single location unlike, say, Ren & Stimpy where they were all over the place in unnamed locations. Spongebob stayed within Krusty Krab and Bikini Bottom, Rocket Power around Ocean Shores, etc. Like a common "hang out" place. The characters are now more restricted by their current setting. -Dual-plots became practically standard. Before more shows had only a single plot following a few characters. Now few do. (Including live action shows on "cartoon" stations) -A "second show" gone. I think this highlights the old cartoons: a mini-show within two or more episodes of the "main show". The Monkey superhero and the Justice Friends from Dexter's Lab, Weasel and Bamboon from Ren and Stimpy, you know what I mean, right? -A more "permanent" character group. Before, it seemed like characters interacted with several nameless characters being a major player of an episode like in Catdog or Ren & Stimpy. Now it seems like the already established characters are the only major characters of an episode. I don't know, maybe I'm just rambling on thinking about things that don't matter. Am I the only one who analyzes these things? Oh, and a show I'm watching right now on Boomerang that TOTALLY reminds me of my own dog: As for today's cartoons...meh. Maybe I'm not seeing them with the same "kid personality", but most of them are re-used storylines and characters with a loser-kid oriented plot. (Though most other movies and shows (live action) are so too). When have you seen a jock as a main character or a girl for that matter? But not all is in vain. I'm sure most of you will agree Invader Zim is a very amusing show as much as when I was a kid and now. Phineas and Ferb has got to be the best cartoon these last five years. Spongebob...no comment. <_<
  13. Good ol' truth right here. I've been on the 'net for 6 years now and I have NEVER gone to the extent of Jessie or similar occurrences. I did feel pretty bad the first couple of times I was either trolled or told harsh criticism but with a level head and a reasoning, you get over it.
  14. Don't be so romantic, neither. In a carefully planned system where bureaucracy reigns supreme, one man cannot inflict much damage before being stopped, legally. Illegally you can see how mobsters hush up witnesses against them: threats. A combination of the two, a government agency most likely a specialized department within the US Army (so, really, the Senators and Representatives don't have much insight into it), a government hiding UFOs could exist, there's no doubt in my mind. And the "people are just naturally [cabbage]ting secret keepers" made me chuckle. While it is true that most humans can't keep their mouth shut, spies and the like certainly can and with the built-in restrictions of a planned system, only the few spy-like leaders could ever know everything going on. Now wheither or not it's true, is a different story. I'm merely stating it's certainly possible. Much so, ignoring the fact a government can do such a thing just like praising it can, can lead it to become it.

Comedy should be unique. Nerd streotypes are not unique.
  16. That was pretty good, actually. I never thought about reincarnating BACKWARDS in time and only me being everyone at once.

Same here. It's the only alignment I would like to be anyway.
  18. Go kill yourself. Now. I'm not being sarcastic. Thinking you're the only golden one sucks.
  19. You don't dude, that's [bleep]ing up too much, dude. You're gonna get rejected dude. Stop being a [kitty] dude. Dude. Get rejected? I'm in a relationship now, dude. I just wanted to see others opinions. But besides, I don't get your point (not sure if you even have one..?). You have to communicate you like them somehow or it will never be anything. Though i think you're implying (non-verbal) actions, which is something i listed in my post. If not, share. I'm interested. Nah it was complex sarcasm, the worst kind of sarcasm. :ohnoes:

I don't expect people to speak English when coming here. As someone else said, they're tourists not residents. It doesn't matter if they speak the language. If they don't speak the language they would usually stay near the bi-ligual tourism hotels and areas.

  23. 1) The Taliban never ruled Iraq. 2) Given enough fear, the people won't go for what they want.
  24. The loans won't go away, that's for sure. If you're going to be a political idiot, at least be accurate. Depending on the college, books are covered by the tution. But as a general rule, don't assume that but that keep it in your mind for when they say "Any questions?".
  25. If only it were that simple. :( Well, the British and French "protectors" wanted a group of different people to be united under a single flag, like their own. Forgot was Hastings, 100 Years War, English Civil War, the French Revolution, 7 Year War... Either way, they're going to kill each other. We live in a time no different than before. Why we think we're so advanced and reached our "post-war" era is beyond me.
