Oh no, just to contact the service to begin asking for a repairman. I don't know how long until its fully repaired. Either way, its terrible service when their competitors (Verizon) fixes things in a day and answers/replies our calls within the hour. The internet is important for my dads job so it really strains us all. @Tim: its because charity doesnt help the entire system. Give them bottled water today and next week they still don't have a well. Bigger example: why give them schools when you don't need an education for a sweatshop or there aren't educated jobs in their country? Its a cheap way for the fortunate to feel 'good' about themselves. Even with the entire GDP of USA we can't build infrastructure for the majority of Africa and provide jobs.

Will Skyrim's melee combat be a lot better than Oblivion's? I never went melee in that game because it was too stiff. After playing some other melee-styled games, the melee is sort-of unplayable now. :lol:

Hello thread. If you didn't know, I have moved to a new house in a neighborhood with pretty bad internet cables. I'm looking for more single-player PC games to play. I'm a big fan of "sandmode" RPGs like the Elder Scrolls or Fallout - something with a lot of replay value. Don't mention Mass Effect, I have no intentions for buy that game. :razz:

I'm going to get 90k down on a good day, from my predictions. :(

No clue how much, but 768k is the highest they go. My only fear is my sister using up the bandwith. But I'll be damn satisifed when I can browse the internet, chat on Steam, do qick google searches, etc, etc on my PC. Right now I have to use my andriod to which I cannot find the powr cable. Borrowing my dads atm.

Finished with the move. My feet hurt like hell, but the rest of my body is doing okay. The new house is tiny to the one we lived in, but honestly it is the perfect size...you don't need more than it offers. Biggest downside: the cables of the area can only offer 768k internet, which I am not sure if it is decent for gaming . Now I feel for those people with low ping that can't just "get new internet" without having to move somewhere else. Fiber opitics for everyone, not only white neighborhoods god damn verizon/AT&T.

There is also so far you can do with news. We can't talk about Eurozone for 7 months now can we?
