If there's one thing I hate is when people don't get credit for their work. If the postal people get ignored their pay/benefits/etc for delivering the nation's mail, they have every right to 'remind' the higher-ups of their importance.

Everybody my age that I could possibly think of would also know that's wrong. Really, it doesn't take much to realize. Knowing you shouldn't do something doesn't mean you have the self control or forethought to not do it in every case. Anyway, I do agree they knew what they were doing, I just think some are being a little harsh. If they were guys imagine the outcry that would exist if they didnt get punished. There would be tons of feminists groups saying we allow this cause of "rape culture" [something i hear them say anyways]. I can just imagine the outcry. I know, but we can't sink to their level. [cabbage]. Any criminal we punish is going to be "swooping to their level" now? They were in 8th grade, ONE YEAR FROM GOING INTO HIGH SCHOOL. How can you tell me and all of us, when I SEE 8TH GRADERS EVERY DAY TO SCHOOL that they 'don't know it was wrong'. Let them suffer everything they rightfully deserve to, slap the mother on the face for not pressing charges, and kick the police chief out of office for not pressing charges himself.

Then you have to roll your eyes when "businesses look for people with great communication skills." :rolleyes:

* Xbox uses their own language, which is basically C#. And C# and Java are nearly identical. All mods are done in java as well, I think. There is very little, if any, adjusting necessary. It's just a matter of how. 'How' meaning publishing and such? Yeah that's the thinking part. But as Halo says, it's just a fat cash cow for Notch and Microsoft. Not to say I don't want it on Xbox. Yeah, unfortunately. If MS doesn't charge then it will really bring the Xbox into a good gaming device, actually. If Minecraft runs on java then that means Xbox runs java? ('cos I can't see Notch re-writing the code) A normal guy can easily make a mod for both PC and Xbox. Microsoft's gonna have to make a decent internet browser to check out all the mods and give THEM ALL a fair chance. But hey, I'm talking too much. Too much work for retired Bill Gates here.

If Skyrim is successful in figuring out how to mod their content on consoles, others will follow. Maybe. Plus I can't see Micro$oft supporting mods if they're not DLCs.

The Xbox version means no mods. NO THANKS! I wish the Biome mod (Phoenix Terrain mod) was updated...really want to take a stab at another desert civilization project again.

TIF was like my older brother: the person with life experience. In the first half of High School and with my small family, I don't really have much of an older figure in my life. Helped me a lot growing up through High School Off-Topic did and RS General just helped me enjoy the game better. But both of those are behind me...I feel TIF is younger than me, at most the same age, finally. :razz: EDIT: Oh and of course, the general use of internet forum made me type fairly quickly and easily use correct grammar. Something the 'tech-y' generation of today can learn a lot from.

Well of course I use e-mail. I'm not going to talk to business with instant messaging, much less Facebook.

As I said in one of my first posts, this argument against immigration is based on fallacies and false information. You clearly do not know how immigration occurred in the 19th and early 20th centuries. In Ellis Island, you got off the boat, told your name, and BAM. You're legally allowed to be here. This was for unskilled workers. Today that is not the case, where you simply cannot enter legally if you're unskilled. Period. If you support the immigration of old, then you should support immigration reform...because the system today IS NOT the same as it was back then. They don't need to go because they're already rejected. Do people seriously not understand people would much rather sign papers than cross the border and live with the worry of being deported. You can't seriously people like to border-hop just for the thrill of it, if you do, then you are seriously mentally-[developmentally delayed]ed. Yep; don't blame the immigrants blame the employers here. Just like drugs, we can't expect the drug cartels to stop over there when Americans consume more and more weed everyday over here. Not sure how this will work, so please explain this process. But keep in mind, WASP Mr. John Smith better undergo the same process as Juan Gonzales or else this is just another racial policy. I can't agree to that. uhhh yeah, it's illegal not drive without car insurance , at least here in canada. you actually lose your driver's license. do illegal immigrants apply for licenses? I'm not getting your question. You blame illegals for being dangerous by not having car insurance yet some legal citizens drive without it neither. Magic does not prevent people from driving without insurance or a license.
