  1. You know, there is an accurate and up-to-date documentary of 'friends with benefits'. It's definitely a must-see for the young adult.
  2. Self-driven is heroic and admirable on two levels: Firstly, fixing problems yourself is a trait this society (gonna talk mostly American) wants us to have, but hardly does it. This woman did not complain, she went on and did what she had to do. Something clearly lacking from our society pressured by not only moral and cultural beliefs, but authority of the law. Secondly, the reason why our society is as hypocritical is because of the law. The fact that this woman clearly broke it to pursue justice is an act of courage by itself. The greatest real justice (the first being not able to fix the effects of the rape itself, but it's unrealistic and impossible to fix), that this sort of behavior is punished. A most terrible injustice. The state did not reach justice. The [puncture] exploited this to insult her. She finished the job the state could not do. I do not and will not ever see this as immoral, incorrect, or by whatever wrong. I believe, but don't quote me on this since the OP isn't clear, that she was 13 in 1998. Which means she is clearly old enough to take care of herself at 25 years old.
  3. Eh, I'll like to care about my weight/apperance but I'm just lazy...I will keep in shape for health reasons though: family had lots of heart problems.

Ah, Gabe, creator of the largest quote pyramid I've ever seen. It's natural you want to show off your work.
  6. I can't remember much of it, but I found it interesting at the time. Again, I don't know much about economics so maybe some of you other guys can say things about it I've also had this feelin/thought. Companies reworked their organization to be more efficient with less employees. Now with the recession 'over' they're more efficent now than before and won't hire workers like they did back then.

TIF is getting too squishy-gooey right about now...

Yes, Amazon is quite safe. It's new because they buy it off the manufacturer and sell it as a retail. Think of it like how Best Buy sells new things but they don't make nothing.
  9. Tsunamis were from earthquakes and we can't influence earthquakes, remember that folks.
  10. You are confusing sex partners with meaningful relationships, personality with intelligence, and assume all guys are weak-minded.
  11. Are you going to keep making fake judgments to other people just because they decorated a bathroom wall? .... Because imo, people who are like that are the ones who lack life. Let and let live.
  12. Or... Arg3ntina? Oh I'm a idiot to miss that. 4r63n714
  13. 4rgentina. A boy can dream.
  14. I thought the purpose was to different the Nazis from the non-Nazis? Haha, just making a light-hearted post. :shades:

Just seems like silly passive aggressiveness to me, not to mention rude. It's not like you needed to write a full paragraph detailing all of the fun memories you've made with her along with your phone number at the end. All she asked for was your signature. And he refused like a gentleman. [cabbage] doesn't need to be signed. I applaud Boros for doing that; had a similar issue with some friends back last year- got "pressured" into signing a couple of [bleep]es' yearbooks (and writing big paragraphs mind you). People just got to learn to say No and people have to learn to deal with 'no'.
  16. A ubered pyro is pretty damn good in closed rooms; unless you got a degreaser. Soldiers a pretty terrible choice, since you need to reload for a while and this gives time for the engie to repair. I still think heavies are the best for close-ranged ubers and demos too. Soldiers are awesome kritz though.

That's sort of the majority in California.
  18. If you can place at least three regular track between boosters uphill, I'll be content. (Currently is one between)
  19. Exactly. That is the biggest problem I have with Israel. If I was a teenaged Palestinian who doesn't care for politics or revenge, I can't even enter Jewish Israel to live in peace and prosperity. Not to mention when Israel cut off the Gaza strip I couldn't even get out. That's the greatest injustice in my opinion. Ruining the land for your profit; its bad but I can't do nothing about it. Not letting me leave to pursue my happiness (which is security and prosperity)? Absolutely terrible.
  20. Tell that to the srs bsnss pub'ers. Talking about srs bsnss pubs, I hate when servers make a cap on how many players can be a class... Frustrates me when two defensive engies place mini-sentries everywhere except the point and when I want to build a lvl 3 sentry (TO HELP THE TEAM!) I can't due the team having "too many engineers". Same goes with heavies. :wall: I understand why such a thing exists, but, no. It's a TF2 pub. A game.
  21. YES. People say just getting kills is not beneficial to the team (spy, sniper are the two biggest) but it causes rage and demoralization. Nothing beats a third of the enemy team switching to spy to track down a couple of our snipers.
  22. Wanna bet? I do it every day. It's not that hard. Try it some time. *Every day=whenever I drive. So not that often. But why? I should post a picture to ease matters up. I'm talking about wide ass streets with no parked cars on the sides with wide lanes...could be a highway for christ's sake. I'm not talking about downtown roads with narrow ass streets. You must understand this.

Agreed, those changes are completely unnecessary. Newsflash: not all young drivers are stay-at-home party-go'ers. Some have to drive to work. I'm all for safer driving (aka focusing on the road) but limiting the age and adding restrictions isn't going to do it.
  24. You can't go 30 on a 40 on the left lane in a wide, large suburban street. There's no risk of losing control of the car, the lane's big enough - to contrast to more urban, central-city type roads which are much narrower.
