:cry: Lightning there aren't words to describe how Tip.It itself is mourning this loss. Sad to see you go Lightning. I never knew you directly, but anyone who helps build Tip.It is a god. Have fun times with your other jobs, and good luck in all aspects that life will continue to bring to you.

1. How do you know you were turned down? -A. If you asked, thats why. 2. Does this relate to this recruitment drive, or some other affair? 3. I'm sure the Admins/Mods look through your posts, even if its 1-100. EDIT: I see why he posted this, read tallests latest post after this post. ---- Never have seen three admins/super mods 8-) , defend themselves so well. Mods may not post a lot because they may be busy with other work, or did you forget that?

Though that can be fixed on greatly, it does allow a good portion of the guides to be locked, since they are 'joke' guides. :?

It probably has the max allowed of PMs, since no user will ever use it, and it will probably be a locked account, or deleted after the applications. That imo, isn't true. Those who don't respect the mods who come out of this recruitment are the ones who do not see how they were picked, and also ignore the admins/mods already posting here about how someone will be chosen. Also, those who are posting about reasons to get accepted, or to get declined in this recruitment I would just relax and continue on your daily routine on Tip.It, since there will be no update with this until the 7th, so don't obsess over it...or make posts about a reason for w/e that makes Tip.It admins/mods look like idiots who don't know how to do their job.

There's actually quite a few errors in some of the other skins, though I'm assuming they'll be fixed when Tip.It transfers to the new boards...? Some of the skins top menus (Rules, FAQ, Search...etc) aren't all there, and some are way out of place. Also: Doesn't appear on some skins. There's probably tons of others..the Xmen skin is the worst with errors imo.

Ginger_Warrior is correct :) And if you see signatures larger than that, you can report them. Report them for the quotes? Or for the rules?

Since I started reading FU&S, there has been 2 topics about this, when I looked through all the topics in this forum a few weeks ago, there is another 2-3(hard to tell) topics about this, and there is really no reason given that this shouldn't be done, since most of those topics seem to have drifted off the page. The ways you get around this aren't sufficient. PMing yourself the bbcode is creative, but how long does it take, when you could just click a button and your signature appears in a box beside the code? I don't think this would be hard to do on php thru, it will just take time, its not impossible. Also that sticky is mainly for images, not an entire signature, and it still isn't a solution imo.

There has been too many broad-spectrum moderators and not enough moderators who are experienced in a given field. It's been like this for almost a year now. Sure, general and H&A is moderated well, but there are other sections that are now lifeless because of the lack of efficient staff. Graveyard is dull, the RSC forum has suffered since Vmser moved on and Forum Games has been neglected since Jak left. But I don't see how this new breed of application-moderators is going to remedy this. If a user has good ability, then they should have been spotted by staff already. This recruitment drive just makes TIF look desperate. When I said masses, I meant 15 new mods monthly. I know of how certain forums are neglected, but not forgotten. The mod trainee's could be stationed in the 'neglected forums', or global mods being told to check daily each forum, or so. This imo, doesn't make Tip.It look desperate, if it works, and everything goes well, then this recruitment drive could be a new way to recruit mods, or certain oriented staff.

Just a few things you said mario: Tip.It, imo, how they picked the mods before this recruitment drive, was a very dandy way to recruit, slow, but Tip.It isn't needing mods by masses so speed isn't really a concern? But it was probably the most effective way to recruit moderators. Now this Recruitment Drive is a way to broadly look at potential mods, for the present, or even the future. Of course mods who are immature, or do not meet the criterias will either be stopped before becoming a mod, or while being a mod. I think tip.It would review the user's post highly. And since the Tip.It Admins, aren't monkeys I think you can put your trust in them, in finding the right mods, who meet all criterias. Also this is a trainee program, so mods who do not pass the trainee programe won't become mods, and I'm sure their personalities are going to be tested. You can try to prevent bad moderators yes, but only to a point, once you go past there, your taking priveleges away. The interview idea is a simple idea and should always be used when hiring, or recruiting someone. So I assume Tip.it would do some sort of interview. Yes there is a tool, you click on the username, and you select find all posts. ^^ Or there may be another tool that only the admins have access to, that is more accurate in finding posts...

16 minutes into the ninth hour of the day. I bet its at 9:30, or 10:00am, or for easterners like myself 4:30 or 5:00am, though Jagex could release at 4:00pm eastern peak times. ^^

Bank it, so I can't get to it for 20 years, the interest should be good then, and then I'd use it on family, luxuries, and probably w/e else pops into my head. =P~

It's actually been bumped since 3-4 days ago. I guess users saw a chance to get the sig and avvy limits raised. :x That has to be the greatest way to say why there's a 30kb limit. Now that I think of it, not many sigs have a useless image that doesn't add to their signature. :-k
