Are you sure your clicking on the installer? When you dl an installer program, it usually auto-prompts you to open the installer. If not, make sure your right clicking on the right icon for the installer as well, atfer that select open? Your default selector for left clicking may not be 'open' for some reason...? If not, I have no idea?

And those particular users should always be declined. If they complain, or whine, or do what ever just because they got declined, probably means they aren't ready to be what a Mod stands for, and who a Mod reflects, even the responsibilities of a Mod. I don't think you can influence positivity with your head down...so lift it up. : Even if you, or I are declined it shouldn't change your posting attitude. If any company puts a price to view a website, it will not be viewed as much as it would be, and they'd lose money, also advertising companies would lose money if the view price actually did work, since the money from the view price could pay for site fees, and w/e else advertisements are used for.

Yea, it's a win-win situation for everyone. If you are accepted your a Tip.It Mod Trainee, and able to help users...if not, and your declined, your told your reason for being declined, and if you work at it, and you fix it, your chances of being a mod may increase, and you help shape the community better. Get a better layout, it doesn't matter what language you use, as long as you know how to use it. Of course more things would be more comprehensive, and far easier with CSS, and many other languages. Anyways, try to use bright colours, ads from companies are bright and give the message quick. Your site I assume is for a clan of some sort, your possibly advertising your clan on their to show other people how well your clan is. Thus, don't use black as background colour. I'd also suggest getting someone to create graphics for you, so they can make a better banner at least, and possibly buttons(not big ones), then code them properly. I'd first move your site to another free hosting site, which doesn't have so many ads, or pop-ups. I'd then take away the banner, get a new one, that lightens the place up a bit. Your side menu doesn't need to have the borders, I'd also add a Top Menu and put in 'Contact Info' 'Legal things' 'Forums' anything that isn't its own page or doesn't fit in to the actual site persay. Make sure everything is centered properly, make sure your using consistent sized letters. I highly suggest you make the forums open in a new window. The links should be put as a top menu. Even though I'm a hypocrite, light colours are far better then dark colours: I made a corny little site using only Html: http://www.freewebs.com/pureannihilation/ Its not complete, and I do not plan on ever completing it. But it just shows you tons of examples you should at least use, or could benefit you. Trust me, this site is probably a 3/10 site compared to other html only sites. So don't take everything as being great. If you must use dark colours, make sure your text isn't dark, and there's good contrast. Anyways more things I recommend(I'm 14, in grade 9 so I don't know how good this): [*:2h0nrlga] Make the text clear, and to the point [*:2h0nrlga]Straiten everything out, and make it look organized [*:2h0nrlga]Horizontal lines make your site more distinct [*:2h0nrlga]Keep pages on the topic, don't trail off [*:2h0nrlga]Learn Javscript+php [*:2h0nrlga]Look at sites for examples on how to diver information [*:2h0nrlga]A site is to give you information, that is your main goal [*:2h0nrlga]Graphics, get someone who can use photoshop, or paint(rare?) very well enough to create a background image(s), and other graphics [*:2h0nrlga] Just keep it clean, and easy to read, without clutter, clutter trails users away [*:2h0nrlga] There's more, you learn as you go, but I strongly suggest learning more then one language, and learn how the internet works greatly *Don't take everything for granted, I'm only posting what I find useful in making a site.*

00DD00 Green just pwns, because it relaxes people, or excites people depending on the shade of the colour used, and its used in almost every commercial you'll see, or on the internet. Green goes with everything. :-#
