SupaDavis: Religious topics, I meant by flaming another religion, or getting too sensitive in a discussion about religion, you could still say the odd thing about religion. Though flaming for religion isn't accepted I believe? Silver: A mod, especially ones volunteering, are not obligated to help at all, or so I thought? You can't really say a mod didn't help, since thats very childish, and doesn't really do much...Mods should help though, if they notice it. :-# Though don't take me for the 'mods are not obligated' bit, they may or may not i really don't know. But it seems logical that they may not be obligated to...

WWIII - Oh teh noes...
I',m just glad I live in Canada, and am Canadian. A friendly country we are. 8-) If the US got into a full scale war (not some pitiful thing like Iraq), and bush cheated his way through the polls, and was still president 2012+, and no one had shot him yet. The US would lose in my opinion. Russia+China, they are quite lethal and if done correctly could nuke America, with no counter strike back. You just don't nuke a country, you cut off resources, cut off power, cut off internet cords, direct your air pollution towards the target, direct waste into their waters, 'accidently spill some acid, or disease in the water'... I don't mean blantly cut off the resources, it would be way more simple to buy the resources for a higher price over a 7 year period, then when they start to realise their resources are gone, they become more desperate, and either buy higher, or make in country. Also, everything I listed should be spread very thin across a 20 year period, or 30. Then start moving in, not too fast, very slow, start putting in some special forces as immigrants, smuggle in guns+other things. Start making trade routes, so your not huffing your way through, start planning, plan through plan A to plan Z. Have key inside bases. stock up on supplies(dried food, which can last an entire battalion for 3 years, or more. -- Sneak in, go by the sky in anti-radar planes, don't drop in amounts of thousands, but drop in by hundreds, go through Canada, and past the Canada-U.S. border(its unguarded, or sort of...) Set up bases in Montana underneath the ground. Start re-assorting machinary. Then attack from the south-west of U.S. Take out military basis on the coast, and inner-coast. Sneak special forces into a main power grid facility, take out power, the power grid is vulnerable. Then once you get half of the country(the land, not people), under seizge, start moving east towards california. When that diversion is there, take out the thousands from the ground and quickly move east to New York. Then if China, was allied, their forces could move across the pacific, and well, with New york under attack, and south west U.S. and all the cities towards california being attacked, the U.S. will launch missiles to Russia, where they can be intercepted by China, or home-defense machinary... If you start now, by 2040 you could take out the U.S. ^^ BTW, this is a rough idea, and I have no idea if its possible, but it seems logical...

Monday Poll: Collapseable submenus.
I said I'd hate it. Though, I wasn't really thinking of the menu that eyehawk used as an example. I'd dislike it, but I wouldn't mind it, and it would be very practical if there was an option to put as Show All(+), when you clicked it, the original menu and all its sub-features would show. Also it would be very good idea to make it remember your choice selection. So if I clicked show all(+), all the menus with (+) would become (-), and the list of the features would show up. If not, it would be such a horrific hassle to put down each list every single time I use them. I'd get used to it overtime sure, but I'd still find it a hassle. Though does Tip.It really need this? I'm on 800x600 and the menu doesn't show up, but its nicely layed out as a poll that was made some time ago about the layout of the site. I think the results of that were very good, and 2 or 3 more lines have been added since then. So I don't think its an issue until more menu items get added. On 800x600, and on a 14" screen, every is very easy to get to without hassle, except for scrolling once, possibly twice if you want the very bottom menu...and then clicking. Poll I was reffering too: What do you think of the Tip.It Website's layout?

You know, I actually think all the users need to do something above and beyond fantastic for albosky. Something extremely thankful for all the work albosky does. Some event dedicated and about albosky. TET Needs to be called in. And I would hope every Tip.IT member is there to thank him. And possibly do their own thing to thank him. Then a main thing is done by everyone... =D>

Yes, I agree, with a topic can stay bumped with responsible posts, that are valid and help give advice, and this topic is an advice topic, like High School Advice, or Relationship Advice, they should be stickied if deserving. As I think this is how most stickies are made into a sticky. Bballer, yes it is possible, but as Aaron said, this is a RuneScape Forum, not a Teen Help Forum. I highly see why that topic in a Teen Help Forum would stay bumped all year long. I can also see why it wouldn't be bumped on a forum meant for RuneScape. Try putting the recent topic: RuneScape: A Game For The Young?, on a Teen Help Forum, and we'll see how long it lasts. I hope that makes my point.

More Advertise stickies
For a FanSite to succeed this late in a game, as tripsis said is highly unlikely unless when you release your site publicly it has all the features Tip.IT, Zybez, and any other FanSite has, plus as aaron said you have to have some sort of fantastic feature that sets your site's standard far above any given FanSite, possibly even more then one extremely awesome unfathomable feature. Which quite frankly is difficult to even do considering any great feature has already been taken... Also, for the first year in making a site, I'd presume you'd have to pay out of your own pocket, unless somehow you made an agreement to get your site advertised very much. Which would probably bankrupt you without a good paying job, if you had all the features you needed to keep the site alive when it may become active. There's also the cost of people working for you. I highly doubt anyone would volunteer unless the site is already active. The only reason why someone may volunteer is to be bale to put an active site, that looks good, and runs smoothly on their application for a job. It would show that they were able to help produce a product(the site) working for free, and it looks like a good job for no payment. Then the company begins to think what work you'd do for actual money...Plus who knows how many people you'd need to work on a site that would have possible potential in becoming a large active base. Anyways back on-topic...I think its already been answered as a no, but I do see it as a very depressing thing to have an advertisement sticky which hardly anyone ever looks at. Which is why you shouldn't advertise on Tip.It. Its too much of a hassle to everyone(yes even users would find an inconvenience in it) to look, or moderate a sticky. Its just not a practical action to do. But I do see it as your way, and I'd suggest finding another way to legally advertise your site, besides advertising on sites, in-game, or illegally. As I said in another thread that regarded a user wanting to advertise his/her site or product(I forget what it was sadly), be an active poster, and advertise your product in your signature (Which you've done).

What axe stated is entirely true, and happens in different light all the time. Not to say the moderator(s) don't do their job when needed, they do it quite well, but just sometimes... Edit: IN response to mirror, I don't see this as complaining, I see it as an issue. -- Anyways I think this list of topics need to be added to the rules that aren't allowed to be discussed: Chuck Norris related Jokes Dragon Topics (Ex: spamming the channel in the dragon) Religious Topics Racism Topics More could be added... EDIT: And more have been added! Go read below posts by users. -- I'd love for those to be put on the first post of this...then mods could direct users here and find out why they were kicked/warned for bringing up a topic.

A whole forum? I'm assuming that means a forum like General, or OT... First off, waste of Band Width. A forum only used at peak times of the year, is highly degrading to the IQ levels of the Admins if they wasted Band Width in such a way...let alone even considering a peak time year only active forum. Modding this is just plain ludicrous. Yes lets put mods into a forum where it will only be active at peak times in the year, and when soon-to-be grade niners are posting frantically about High School...imagine how that could be, especially when they have the thought in their head about High School, which clouds their head, or posts, and creates spam. I see total spam coming from that forum, this is an opinion, with no real prove... I'm sure others reasons can be posted against this, but I really can't think too straight on it, since it seems so useless to do...

I get addicted to things way too easily. =P~ This is actually a pretty good WebComic, comparing it to others I've seen. I'd rather not read the predictions of future pages since I'd leave it as a surprise, or a very odd twist(it usually happens), since that would just add more to it. Though predicting things is fun, I shall try not to read this thread too much. But then again... :

The New World Order
There is too much evidence from so many different parties, that represent many different things, which confuses the reader, and confuses more when they're asked to find out sources for themselves, when they can not say 100% what facts, what statements, and whatever else are false, or true. The Government of America from my view is corrupt, yet evidence, new evidence, old evidence, evidence from other countries, or most suited, variables change my mind all the time. I do believe however, as I think everyone else can agree 9/11 was a side-effect of another issues in the world we humans physically did not see, but on some other level(no not physic crap, I mean like markets, or prices of oil, or even nature). Perhaps the main reason 9/11 happened has yet to be done. OR 9/11 is a side-effect from the something from the past. I highly doubt it was terrorism, yet I highly doubt the Government intended to kill thousands. I think the Government struck a deal with some organization, and it went wrong. Though of course this is a theory and I should be discredited. Also I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to theorize this. 9/11 is an odd event, that will forever remain as an uncertain event which no side can prove or dis-prove due to the already contaminated evidence, and statements. Even if actual evidence was brought, there would be those who discredit it, and find some loop hole in it. WE will never know for sure, without a doubt about 9/11, so we will continue to live with these theories.

Unfairness? We need equality for all posters. plz read
Your right, tip it guides don't have everything, but the guide that was locked didn't have anything above average, or above what Tip.It already had. The guides that clearly present something, hopefully more then one thing other guides don't have, probably won't get locked. But if its sloppy, or poorly presented in terms of pictures, text, and guide-to-reader clarity. Most barrow guides have the same things, except different methods, these different methods don't work as well as ones suggested in the Tip.Its guide, or the other guides posted. Yes, guides will have something different but if that thing can't compete, it really doesn't matter, and if no other new information is put onto that guide it is no different from other guides. The big picture that I see the Tip.It Staff saying is your guide better, and should be able to be compared higher by other guides, by having certain variables present in the guide. If not the guide is subject to the discretion of Tip.It Mods/Admins. Variables vary from Mod to Mod, I'd presume, and rightly so, since every user who would read a guide would think differently of the guide. Just because your guide, or some guide has the different information, does not mean it won't get locked. Having different related information means nothing.

Thats why somewhere in the rules it states that each topic is to the discretion of the mod on what actions to take. Also the rules are very easy to understand, I don't see how you could get different versions of it. I don't think they would forget the rules after reading them 10k times. :XD:

Split the clan forums
Well, I'd look at this topic: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=684376 But thats not about this reason. -- I don't know the reasons why Tip.It merged skilling and combat clans together. Since I think thats ridiculous...Combat Clans heavily out-weigh skilling clans, so I can just imagine how difficult it might be, or how long it could be, to find a skilling clan. I think make a sub-forum in the sub-forum, for skilling clans. They may look ugly but its an easy solution, and it really doesn't give bad advertisement. Since it appears at the top, and is easily visible. If someone really wants to join a skilling clan, and be loyal to it, they will go through the effort of clicking an extra link to be able to see skilling clans listed neatly. I'm pretty sure separating the sub-forum into two isn't too good, but making a sub-forum in clan recruitment for skilling clans is a good solution. Clan Recruitment>Clan Recruitment(wold still hold combat clans)>Skilling clans(does not appear on the first Clan Recruitment Forum).

I agree with tripsis. If we had stickies for every 'wave of topics' the main page of OT would consist of 6-7 stickies plus any additional ones that don't regard these waves. They are a hassle to look/read at, but I think its more of a hassle to put up a sticky, then possibly remove it, or close it, or even moderate it while its active. Its a job these mods could spend doing else where, where its much more needed. Also its not that great of a pleasure having to scroll down every time, because of the stickies/global announcements are clogging up the way. You make one sticky, then others are to pop-up, and probably half of them would be made. Eventually one sticky gets active, and needs moderating, then it dies out. Then another sticky gets hit by these waves. It too needs moderating. Its a circle that doesn't need to be added since there's already enough circles like it around. I'd rather have the mods moderating important/less important topics, then a sticky that would keep getting the same questions over and over... EDIT to bobbington replies: Though I may have implied it, I don't think the time needed to moderate, look after, and keep clean for the sticky is well worth the benefits, let alone my theory which most will be convinced to say would come true, seeing as they would fit this category, and the exact same reasons why the high school sticky is hypothetically made. 6-7 topics no thanks.

Hopefully we get more mods on as lighting says above. Its annoying to see a lot of users spamming, then when a mod comes on, they stop, and basically suck up to the mods. I don't know if we're allowed, but are we able to suggest users to be modded? I know this isn't allowed since users would suggest their friends, but I honestly don't know these people very well beyond the reasons that I can give to suggest them to be modded. Some general traits between them is they are on the Tip.It Chat every time I am on it(which is 7-18 hours daily), they are mature, they help, they are polite, and they see the right decisions. Also, another thing, I do not know their username here on Tip.It but I suspect they have an account here. I'm sure you'd be able to contact them in-game on the chat. I think we need more mods on at 11pm eastern to 9 am eastern. When I've been on at those times, there aren't mods on, except two or three, and they aren't in the chat, merely on call from users in the chat.

You just posted the link that must not be named. :uhh: Club Penguin is not a game. Hopefully Jagex has enough common sense to change the agility icon on the future stat page. Since what Tip.It members predict about graphics such like this usually come true.
