  1. Wyverns are 2 per drop, not 4. And waterfiends are the way to go. Slayer sucks for charms.
  2. Well the hard thing is that charms come in varying rates depending on what you kill. I'll try to estimate the ratios I was getting from slaying. Gold : Green : Crimson : Blue 12 : 6 : 20 : 3 It would seem that, given that ratio, you would need about: 4.2k Golds 2.1k Greens 7k Crimsons 1.05k Blues -- Waterfiends should give you ratios more like 4 : 2 : 40 : 1 Which would require 1k Golds 500 Greens 10k Crimsons 250 Blues -- I'm not too sure on the ratio of rock lobsters... but if you want to look into that here's a nifty calculator quite useful for summoning. http://users.telenet.be/glodenox/Charms/CharmPattern.html
  3. The additional damage is hardly noticeable. I too am 99 defence, but for slayer I would wear bandos and a rune defender, which has much less defence than your torags and DFS and I have NO problems with food or healing. I think you're making something small into something big.
  4. 1. Slayer sucks for xp. Don't bother with it unless you want to train your slayer. 2. You get hit just as often now as before. 3. On most slayer tasks you should be taking a MAXIMUM of 5% more damage than you were before. 2 and 3 would indicate that your claims are unfounded and you're just whining because it's different. You may be taking 5% more damage, but you're dishing out more damage as well.
  5. You have bad luck. It is pretty evident through an examination of multiple drop logs that hilts are about half as common as sara swords.
  6. Abyssal whip on defensive. There are many monsters you could kill but the fastest for xp would be something like armoured zombies.
  7. Higher defence allows you to hunt bosses more effectively. I find that to be one of the most enjoyable parts of runescape.
  8. I thought this thread was about corping, not steel dragon hunting. And Maz was being neither selfish nor incorrect. I am -> :-k
  9. I use it to track average yields from herb runs. First number indicates herbs, second indicates marigolds, third indicates cactus spines, (fourth) indicates # of runs logged.
  10. Don't be silly  someone ultimately is running the bots and gets pleasure out of free gp, especially when there's no risk of losing $5 subscription on a banned account.
  11. Chinning would be the way to go... but to be honest don't worry about it. Later you'll have more hp xp than you know what to do with. PS: your avatar nearly gave me a seizure
  12. ....which happen to be some of the most boring/pointless tasks in the game, but tasks which F2P are quite happy to have as they provide a source of income to F2P worlds. ...which F2P bots will also be quite happy to have as a source of income.
  13. While the looks argument is impertinent and debatable, how's this sound? Torag's plate is not only 10m cheaper than Dragon plate but has better defence bonus. -- Although Defence is sometimes important, it is NOT always the most important. For the same reason a rune defender is better while training than a dragonfire shield, a bandos chestplate is better than a dragon platebody. Its strength and prayer bonus help you get more xp/hour than defence bonuses can.
  14. #-o how do you think overall accuracy is determined It's a combination of attack bonuses and level obviously, them multiplied by any multiplier (prayer, void, etc.) ...which would make void a multiplier of your bonuses. Hence Maz's #-o
  15. Solo Armadyl is better than solo bandos.
  16. Nah. I don't want the account to exist anymore. That is why I posted the info on the RS forums. So if someone is using it report them. You've literally thrown away $200 Which is why this is fake.
  17. Waterfiends don't have attack or strength levels, so you get no bonus. No bug here.
  18. Would it be better to use tortoise + unicorn? If you can use a unicorn, just use that. In 2+ man groups, you can live purely off unicorn and EE.
  19. You should definitely use ALL your charms. The "tradeoff" I was referring to was gathering your own obsidian charms.
  20. With turmoil added, yes Abyssal whip is better. At least at Iron Dragons, but i meant without. Smoother: less 0s. No reason to not use turmoil.
  21. Whip > Spear at irons and steels. Weakness to stab +2 Prayer bonus (Turmoil/Protect) >>> Spear. Have experienced smoother kills with Z spear even at Blue dragons. Using extremes and turmoil you will get faster kills with a whip and a defender than a z spear at all three of those dragons. I don't know what "smoother kills" means.
  22. Whip > Spear at irons and steels.
  23. Golds would cut down the cost. Greens would cut down the cost IF you do fruitfall scrolls. Otherwise that'll up the cost. Blues would up the cost, actually, unless you do lava titans. But then you're spending more time... it's a tradeoff.
