  1. Good: Kottonmouth Kings, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Avenged Sevenfold, Motley Crue, Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden These are bands that don't exist (to my knowledge, but would be funny names): -Jazz Chap Charlies (I dunno why, it's just funny) -Plumbum Dirigible (LZ cover band)
  2. I'll give you a 7/10. I agree that it's hard to read. But I am gonna make a noob_guy, so I'll give you that.
  3. OK, I got dibs on noob_guy_420. I could use a fresh start now and again, might be nice.
  4. Banned because your posts tell us your RSN a whopping 3 times (unless there's a hidden one I missed).
  5. You receive a note saying "I'm going to go home and cry now. People like you are why I cut. Signed, The Vending Machine." *inserts C batteries*
  6. 0/10. I've never seen you before, actually.
  7. Banned for failing to realize that the wall and brick are the same thing. Don't you mean "knocking a wall into a face" or something?
  8. I think that's a little, I dunno, overprotective? I mean, I'd understand not letting someone play RS at all, but basically muting them, that makes no sense to me at all. I guess my question for you is, if you couldn't talk in RS, why play? That basically makes it a single-player game. And I assure you, there are better 1P games than RS.
  9. Lol, Ride The Lightning is a wicked album, but it doesn't have the entire top 5 for me lol. 1. Fade To Black 2. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) 3. Enter Sandman 4. Escape 5. Wherever I May Roam

I reiterate that one. I haven't done much reading on my own lately, but the stuff we've been reading in school has been pretty good so far this year. So far we've read... Oedipus Rex (solid, but since it's so old it's still fairly simplistic) Waiting For Godot (very deep book, but a bit confusing) Hamlet (if you can get past the language, it's amazing) Chronicle of a Death Foretold (ehh...) This trimester I'm in a Jewish-American Fiction class and we're reading some short stories by Philip Roth, who's one of my favorite authors. I highly suggest Operation Shylock by him. It's very confusing at first, but really a great book. Currently reading The Plot Against America, one of Roth's newer books. Other suggestions: Dan Brown books (they're just a good read) Jennifer Government by Max Barry 1984, Animal Farm by George Orwell Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison
  11. Wow I really miss D2X. If only my computer wasn't messed up and didn't make it laggy... I don't remember what characters I used most. I liked the Barbarian a lot, he was fun to play with (two handed ftw ). Sorceress is also good, Necro and Druid are underpowered at higher levels if I remember correctly, but they have some cool skills.
  12. -Get my first car (hell I could do this in the next week) -Start going to the gym, lose some weight, get buffed up -Get laid -Get a big scholarship to college so my mom doesn't have to pay so much -Graduate from a good college with a degree in International Affairs -Get a job (or go on to graduate school, whichever comes first) -Get Duke Nukem Forever (if it ever comes out, I've been waiting since '97)
  13. The machine, unable to understand your weird coding stuff, begins to shoot sparks and make a crackling sound. It short-circuits and sends a wave of electrical energy through the room, frying you. *inserts plastic butter knife*
  14. Banned for having bought (or pretending to have bought) cheats/hacks/mods/etc. for RS.
  15. I personally can't believe some of what I'm hearing  . Just because newbies might not want to hear the truth, that they're about to be scammed, if they don't hear it, then there is NO chance they'll avoid being scammed. Wouldn't you rather they at least know that they might be being scammed than to have the scammers win without a fight?
  16. Welcome to TIF and RS, Hullobaloo! Lol I see you've found out about the overcrowded towns and insane people early on, that's probably good that you've accepted that reality before getting too involved, haha.
  17. Arggh, I hate how they do that with some shows, leave you all up in suspense and stuff. OK, so, about the whole Eden thing... did Clare's father ASK her to kill him or did she do it on her own, not knowing that THAT would happen? Second of all, how the hell did Sylar break out of his glass box and steal Eden's power of persuasion without killing her and taking her brain out of her head?
  18. Lol, my thoughts exactly. One of the main themes of that book is controlling the past and how it affects the future, it's a classic.
  19. OK, I found a free one, it seems more like RS than anything I've ever seen (except, of course, RS). It's called AWplanet, it's basically RS in a sci-fi universe and less popular. http://www.awplanet.com/en/index.jsp
  20. I'd play if the scheduling worked for me, sure. I used to be in my local chess club, I'm not very good though...
  21. I don't dislike Dr. Pepper, but I would if it had anything to do with steak. Ditto with 7-up in a salad dressing. Now, if you want to talk great recipes with soda, then feast your eyes on...
  22. Wow that game DOES sound almost exactly the same as RS lol. If you want just an engaging single-player RPG like Diablo, I'd suggest either Dungeon Siege (1 or 2, but 2 is better single-player), or Sacred. Both have tons of items and enemies and quests, I've played them both a pretty good amount, I personally like DS better, but they're both good and neither is particularly expensive. Oops, I didn't see the "free" part. Umm, I'll have to get back to you on that one.
  23. I'll reiterate the call for Led Zeppelin. Better than the Stones in my opinion. Also... get as much of the Beatles as you can, they're amazing. Wow. I can't believe no one has mentioned the DOORS yet. They're so good, you can't forget them.
  24. Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? - Chicago into... I Fought The Law - The Clash
