That was the case before, but ever since that DW update that DW abilities took off hand damage into account, and adding Conc blast into DW rotation, that is basically ancient history.

Confirmed, I used to do that for my last trio voyages. This was about half a year ago though, but I don't remember them ever changing it.

100%'ed SR4. some thoughts: [hide] 1. the lack of an actual in game tracker makes tracking down the last 10 or so data clusters a complete PITA. It took me 30 minutes to track down that last data cluster. 1a. Also took me a while to finish the audio logs because the last was hidden in a place where I didn't know existed, but was well placed given the author. 2. Of all the alien weapons, I had not expected Abductogun and Bouncing Rifle to be that good at taking down the ball robots (those that roll into a ball and have to shoot at it from behind), both disregard the face armor. Inflatoray is the worst weapon out of the lot (I'd say its by far my least favourite of the weapons). Takes AGES to kill an alien and its not even that impressive. Dubstep gun is much funner to use. A word of Caution, a reckless use of bouncing gun can lead to notoriety rocketing, they tend to bounce to another pedestrian, and my record was it took 5 x2 bouncing shots for the warden to appear in a heavily populated region. Not fun when trying to get the 250 Bouncing gun kills and Wardens appearing basically once every 10 shots... 3. Professor Genki's Mind over Murder and Platforming rift can get lost lol. The gold medal on the hard ones were just... hard. [/hide] Now waiting for the Dominatrix DLC

Comparing Armadyl B staff to Ahrim's, I'd agree (the weapon tier difference is too great). Comparing Chaotic Staff to Virtus, I'd love to see where your math are coming from, since my math indicate that 2h is worse in every possible way to dual wield during momentum when the tiers are the same.

I have both Nex armor and PoP armors and sometimes I feel much safer wearing PoP armor even though it would be much more time consuming to replace than Nex armors (I wear PoP for QBD for example, Haven't tried with Nex yet). Besides, it is still a "If you don't have Nex armors, use this instead" kind of Item rather than "If you only have this you may as well use Rune..."

Or Zil would be RS'es first ever, period, husband beater...

Also, only chimes of the normal goods have that cap, every other resource (except for trade goods) do not.

Off hand mace is currently the best all around choice of it being at fastest (though the speed assessment will differ depending on whether you have Rapier or Mace), and it is also cheapest off hand by quite a lot (second cheapest is at least 33% more pricey). If in doubt, you cannot go too wrong with a pair of maces.

However one can make the gilded altar as early as around level 68 if you are lucky with stews, but 70 is a more realistic earliest level you can build it (Crystal Saw and +2 Con Tea, not sure if the chisel stacks with this, if it does, make that 69). Also, if you plan to construct your own altar, the quality of the burners doesn't affect XP at all, but higher quality burners are much easier to click on due to their larger clickable cross-section. (This may or may not be true now since this information is at least 3 years old).

To clarify, the faster weapons are indeed better (even when using abilities) is because they have a better auto attack response times, therefore makes tagging much easier. However there is one thing I don't quite agree with wkw is the suggestion of Chaotic Crossbows and Ahrim's Wand/book. (Please note that the following statements come from someone who uses Abilities on all slayer tasks) Chaotic crossbows are still good yes, but they already have 1 superior equivalent (Ascensions, but it's very expensive, so don't worry too much about it), and 2 practically equivalent versions (Zaryte Bow and Royal Crossbow), which makes Chaotic crossbows much less of a good buy than the likes of Bone Crusher, Charming Imp and scrolls of life and herblore, simply because none of the latter have any equal outside of DG, while Chaotic crossbows has many other viable choices. Second, Ahrim's Wand/Book is nowhere near power it used to be, since the magic damage is now completely capped by weapon tier (as opposed to partial), while DW magic is superior in everyway (momentum or abilities), the accuracy and damage difference between say a T75 staff and Ahrim's wand/book. If you feel lazy and want to OSRS your slayer tasks, then WKW's advice is very sound (but as I stated above, Ahrim's wand/book might be a little slow because of the accuracy and damage), but if you are using abilities, then it's different.

Better have ports being practically useless than having skills in OSRS actually and completely useless (only 90 RC is of any use, 90 crafting doesn't yield non-tradeable benefits, and 90 smithing is outright useless). Sure, Port armor doesn't have a lot of use right now, but being able to make tetsu armor and have it look good is much more useful than DIY'ing your own rune scimitar.

Not for mining Rune Ores, and for LRC it's only really worth it if you also need the smithing XP. I made it anyway because I do super heating at LRC.

And that is also assuming you want the effect of the bonus XP from now till level 99 nonestop, and besides you are comparing the number of NORMAL pre-update pendants to number of Prized pre-update pendants scaled to yield the same amount of XP as pre-update pendants, which is not a really valid comparison If you compared the time which you get the 99 with 57 pendants before or after the update, you would at the very least get them at the same time. If anything, the update decreased the amount of time you get to reach your goal with the same amount of pendants, because the xp is 2x now instead of 1.5x, so you'll get your intermittent levels faster. This is important for skills that increase in speed gradually or at a specific level (such as any of the primary skills or especially Div). Regardless of how one looks at the update, I don't think there is anything possible to say bad about it beyond the complaints against free XP.
