however chaos at lv 74 is not bad, crafts 2 chaos per ess... though its a bit far :P Chaos sells for about 150ea, easier if sold at 140ea, but thats 50 gp per ess, not that good. If you want pure xp, i recommend either body runes or fire runes, I recommend Fire runes as they are more useful, sells better and the ess is cheap (20 ea if you are UNlucky)
  2. The one by crafting guild spawns snape grass fast enough so that if you bring your unfinished pots, you wont be waiting at all. The grand tree food store stocks not 5 bars, but 8 at full :), also if you have done some recipe for disaster quests, you also have a good access to chocolate bars.
  3. the place down by the lessers in karamja volcano seems a good place
  4. I would recommend, if you have never ever ran barrows before, use full prayer outfit: Unholy Symbol Farseer's Helm Monk's top and Bottom Unholy Book Any god cape Lava Staff your choice of gloves, preferrably the Recipe for Disaster ones, rune or better. Mystic Boots 100 Rune Arrows Inventory: 200 Death Runes 630 Air Runes 10 Law Runes Ectophial Spade Magic Bow 8 Prayer Pots rest food I understand that this trip will be very demanding on prayer potions, but its very safe, and since you are unfarmiliar with barrows, i recommend you do this for a few trips to get yourself farmiliar with the brothers and the tunnels. I used the above method at higher stats for a few runs, then i cut down on costs by being a little bit more economical If you want, here is my set up: Farseer's Helm Unholy Symbol Monk's Top and Bottom Saradomin Cape Ring of Life Rune Arrows Lava Battlestaff Mystic Boots Chaos Gauntlets Inventory: 2 Prayer Pots 630 Air Runes 200 Chaos runes 10 Law Runes Spade Magic Bow Red Dragon Hide top and bottom Rune plate, legs and kite Abyssal Whip Ectophial Rest food
  5. search for Chewy Shoe, you should be able to find it
  6. Sara : Saradomin Zammy : Zamorak (h) : Heraldic D : Dragon weapon / armor (not the hide ones) hope that helps :P

the abyss is very simple to use, except there are a few tricky bits... 1. Pk'ers, they love to camp out near the mage, and teleblocking/entangling people. 2. The monsters are a bit... tough, so you need to wear something to protect yourself. Dragonhide helps a lot. 3. make sure you have done the abyss miniquest to access it. 4. The zamorak mage in the wildy will teleport you to the abyss. Take a pickaxe with you to speed it up. 5. Abyss has an outer ring and a inner ring. The outer ring is where mosters are, and where you will be teleported to, where on the ring is random. There are paths that allow you to go from the outer to the inner ring, although majority of them will have an obstacle. These obstacles usually requires your skills to get pass, such as agility or thieving. there are 2 special passes though. The pass nearest to you when you teleport to the abyss will ALWAYS be completely blocked, you cannot get through it. the pass that is furthest away from you is complete free, you dont need any skills to get past it. 6. Once you reach the inner ring, there will be gates called rifts. Clicking on these rifts will allow you to teleport immediately that crafting altar. Take heed that there are 4 special rifts that not everybody can just get in. The Law rift requires the completion of Troll Stronghold, and you must not be wearing or carrying any armor or weapons. The death rift is only accessible after the completion of Mourning's Ends Part 2. 7. When you enter a rift of your choice, you will be brought right beside the crafting altar. HOWEVER, you are now physically in that altar, so if you exit it by using the portal (like you would if you craft normally), you will not end back in the abyss. So if you picked air rift, and took the portal out after you crafted, you will end up south of falador. This is why glory amulet is needed. 8. finally, a few things you should note. The abyss monsters drops pouches that increase the speed of rc by allowing you to carry more essence. you may only use 1 of each type of pouches. Over some usage, some pouches may start to turn black and hold less ess. The solution is go to the abyss, and head into the inner ring where the rifts are. once you are there, there is an NPC called dark mage in the middle, he will restore your pouches for you. Hope that helped

ALWAYS use the abyss for chaos, because that altar is a pain in the rear to get to, and the fact its also in the wildy doesnt help it. Just in case you dont know, once you enter the ruins leading to the chaos altar, you need to go through a very long maze to get to the altar (it might still be there, might not). Use of Glory is very much needed due to the presence of that maze.
  9. I found this to work reasonably well Find the price range of ores, such as iron or coal say. Buy them at a price HIGHER than its minimu value, and sell it LOWER than its max. So say buy coal at 160 ea and sell for 190ea or something. You dont earn as much, but you earn it faster.
  10. And the set effect is : When the effect kicks in, your opponent's armor is treated as not there for that hit, so the set is much more accurate against armored foes than otherwise.
  11. thanks, but its a well known fact...
  12. for that matter, if you leave the cavern when it shakes, it resets.
  13. Is it just me or is the teleport random event has increased in frequency dramatically?
  14. yes, if you fail an agility obstacle, you will dropped to a cavern below, if you get out of there by a stairs, you will appear right before all the obstacles, just beside the stairs from the shack
  15. yes, but DONT recharge prayer at that altar, that altar is trapped that when you pray at it, you are dropped to the cave below and you become poisoned. do this only if you have anti poison pots.
  16. i got there by fire strike, worked fine by me...
  17. or else go to Bwo Wannai and go to the hunting brother, he sells cleaning cloth
  18. Please forgive me if you have a "omg... not another one" feeling in your head :P When does the kill count come in play when determining what treasure you get? Is it when you open or when you search the chest? ty!
  19. prayer wont really help you, it may help you to kill one or two more fires, thats it. The best place to kill them will be Brimhaven Dungeon (if you want to melee them, and its very uncrowded, NO SAFE SPOTS!) or Waterfall (lots of range spots, very crowded). Ardy Teleport is very useful for the Brimhaven one because there is an altar and a bank not too far from the telepoint, which is again not too far from the shipyard.
  20. thats most likely because they dont train their attack or defence (defence most of the time) very often, and not only that, their HP will most likely be lower, so your combat level will be higher, but you will hit less than some1 with higher str and less combat. My character has only 73 str, lowest of the 3 (75 attack, 74 defence), i plan on training defence up because i hate teleblockers -.- and str training is slower than defence or attack....T.T
  21. to be pked as in successfully pk'ed but attempted or also counting the would-be pkers?
  22. same here, except that i also wear book of saradomin, and only a bronze pick. Lessens the cost of replacement (if any) in the case of being pk'ed/
  23. with gauntlets? I thought Monkfish is unaffected by gauntlets
  24. Not sure which you are talking about, so I'll discuss generally and hope I hit it right. At any of the courses except Brimhaven, you should proceed around the path. If you do not hit all of the obstacles, you will not get the fat bonus xp at the end of each complete circuit. At beginners (gnome stronghold), it is counterclockwise from entrance. At barbarian outpost it is clockwise. At Wildy it is counter clockwise. At skull ball it is clockwise, but the arrows very clearly point the way there. I haven't done werewolf yet so I have no idea about that. But you must have done Fenkenstrain quest and gotten ring in order to use these last 2. At Brimhaven the objective is different. You must cross obstacles to get to the pillar with arrow on it, and then to the next. When you hit two in a row you get a ticket. The tickets are exchangeable upstairs for agility xp (you get minor amounts for the obstacles, but not much. Tickets are the key.) This course is fun once you are over 40 (to pass all obstacles). BEWARE OF The darts! They lower your agility! If you are level 40 and you get hit by darts, you cant cross any lv 40 obstacles until your agility stat is restored. You can also try ape atoll course, you will fail more often than suceed, so you need a lot of food, but you will level faster. I got my agility from 48 to 52 in a matter of hours, but of course eating half my lobsters...
  25. depending on your prayer level, i would say 3 for the dungeon bit before you get the greegree, 2 more for dodging protecting against those damn monkey archers, and 2 more just in case. i'd say 10 4 doses. Oh, sharks arent needed really for the quest itself, only needed against the demon. I found lobsters worked for me for majority of the quest. AND NEVER EVER FORGET A teleport! Even when you are fighting the demon, because you dont want to get stuck on ape atoll in human form.
