  1. i got there by fire strike, worked fine by me...
  2. or else go to Bwo Wannai and go to the hunting brother, he sells cleaning cloth
  3. Please forgive me if you have a "omg... not another one" feeling in your head :P When does the kill count come in play when determining what treasure you get? Is it when you open or when you search the chest? ty!
  4. prayer wont really help you, it may help you to kill one or two more fires, thats it. The best place to kill them will be Brimhaven Dungeon (if you want to melee them, and its very uncrowded, NO SAFE SPOTS!) or Waterfall (lots of range spots, very crowded). Ardy Teleport is very useful for the Brimhaven one because there is an altar and a bank not too far from the telepoint, which is again not too far from the shipyard.
  5. thats most likely because they dont train their attack or defence (defence most of the time) very often, and not only that, their HP will most likely be lower, so your combat level will be higher, but you will hit less than some1 with higher str and less combat. My character has only 73 str, lowest of the 3 (75 attack, 74 defence), i plan on training defence up because i hate teleblockers -.- and str training is slower than defence or attack....T.T
  6. to be pked as in successfully pk'ed but attempted or also counting the would-be pkers?
  7. same here, except that i also wear book of saradomin, and only a bronze pick. Lessens the cost of replacement (if any) in the case of being pk'ed/
  8. with gauntlets? I thought Monkfish is unaffected by gauntlets
  9. Not sure which you are talking about, so I'll discuss generally and hope I hit it right. At any of the courses except Brimhaven, you should proceed around the path. If you do not hit all of the obstacles, you will not get the fat bonus xp at the end of each complete circuit. At beginners (gnome stronghold), it is counterclockwise from entrance. At barbarian outpost it is clockwise. At Wildy it is counter clockwise. At skull ball it is clockwise, but the arrows very clearly point the way there. I haven't done werewolf yet so I have no idea about that. But you must have done Fenkenstrain quest and gotten ring in order to use these last 2. At Brimhaven the objective is different. You must cross obstacles to get to the pillar with arrow on it, and then to the next. When you hit two in a row you get a ticket. The tickets are exchangeable upstairs for agility xp (you get minor amounts for the obstacles, but not much. Tickets are the key.) This course is fun once you are over 40 (to pass all obstacles). BEWARE OF The darts! They lower your agility! If you are level 40 and you get hit by darts, you cant cross any lv 40 obstacles until your agility stat is restored. You can also try ape atoll course, you will fail more often than suceed, so you need a lot of food, but you will level faster. I got my agility from 48 to 52 in a matter of hours, but of course eating half my lobsters...
  10. depending on your prayer level, i would say 3 for the dungeon bit before you get the greegree, 2 more for dodging protecting against those damn monkey archers, and 2 more just in case. i'd say 10 4 doses. Oh, sharks arent needed really for the quest itself, only needed against the demon. I found lobsters worked for me for majority of the quest. AND NEVER EVER FORGET A teleport! Even when you are fighting the demon, because you dont want to get stuck on ape atoll in human form.
  11. looking at the trends of the famous stop burning, i would say lv 95, and no cooking gaunts dont work. This is to be confirmed myself from a reliable source but that is the general consensus
  12. nope, i never went to burthorpe for my assignment, i went to the edgeville one for my first one. EDIT i should have said i didnt go to burthorpe for my FIRST assignment
  13. 1. check the official forums 2. Anti-Dragon Shield, Anti-Dragon Pot and Prayer pot, put on protect from melee and you are way. thats very expensive though, so you might just wanna use the shield 3. Cooked up to 250ea, raw up to 300ea 4. 1k ea 5. There is only one type of fishing spot you can fish for sharks, its the one with Net/Harpoon option. In that, you only fish Sharks, and nothing else. No quests required 6. Admiral Pies heal 9 per bite and gives temporary +5 fishing, like a fishing pot 7. A girl wearing any chain body, d hide body and robes will have a exposed belly (dont ask...), where as guys will have the entire torso covered. 8. dont know, never tried 9. about 28 mil, majority of it from the D Chain 10. Search harder, it should still be in there 11. Death Plateau, Strength Bonus +2, 16 gp 12. High Alching part of fletching, or high alching while farming say... ranaars. Not good money, but useful for making budget prayer pots and the likes. 13. Harpie bug swarm drops arent bad imo
  14. and arguably the easiest quest in the entire game. If you have everything, 5 minutes is all it takes
  15. get your crafting up a bit more, and make bow strings, they sell up to 200ea nowadays
  16. There is a slight problem, the 140 uses on a ring is not shown on the ring if you know what I mean (unlike Ring of Dueling), so try and make sure you smelt full loads and pay attention to when the ring melts, so you minimise loss of iron ore as a result of ring of forging melt.
  17. No, it just costs a HELL lot to get onyx gem in the first place. Onyx gem can only be gotten in TzHaar, and you have to have either 300k Torkkul or killing a lot of high level monsters. 300k torkkul costs millions to get, thats why they are expensive.
  18. Its Klank's Gauntlet, its power is very much lessened due to the fact that Family Crest Gauntlets have the exact same stat, and much more easily replaced than Klanks, and if you have gone far into Recipe for Disaster, then any gloves above Bronze will have better attack/str bonus than Klanks, and its pretty cheap too Rune Gloves beats it back to front in both the Def and Attack bonuses Barrows however, is the best gloves hands down, + 12 to all melee attack and defence bonus, +12 to range attack and defence bonus, +6 to mage attack and defence, and finally +12 to strength bonus.
  19. Does the allotment protectors, such as marigold and Scarecrow increase their yield or only protects from disease? Does all protectors protect from disease or do they act differently? Also, if i left a grown allotment for long period of time, does its yield increase?
  20. Whoopsy daisy, i guess i didnt do my research hard enough.... even finished the quest and all, making it even more embarrassing....
  21. This isnt a question, but what I am interested to know is, every one of our skills, have been implemented as a quest requirement to finish, starting from Thieving to Farming. THe only exceptions are perhaps the melee combat skills and HP, which are understandable, but why is Runecrafting never a requirement to finish a quest? They could make some interesting quests relating to runecrafting, though what sort I am currently baffled...
  22. i hope that one of the future updates includes more bank space, those bloody seeds took 4 rows of my bank space....
  23. Dont forget, Higher mage level means higher chance of success of YOUR spells and higher chances of failure from your OPPONENTS spells, as well as that, the highest level ancient magick, namely Ice Barrage, need lv 94 mage.
  24. a good estimate would be assuming that you hit all of the numbers (0-9) with equal chance, so your average damage per cast would be 4.5 damage per hit, multiply this by 2xp, you get 9, and add this to 11.5, you get around 20.5 xp per cast on average. Multiply this by 2500, you get 51k xp, roughly.
  25. fire strike is a good method until you hit 55, which then is high alch all the way down, though it seems to be getting harder airs for rc, then if you want, earth runes, best for exp, not so good for money. Airs is best for money,
