  1. Currently, running more than 30-40 barrow runs, i have become farmiliar with what is waiting for me in the barrows (a lot of runes and bolt racks...) however as of late, it may be my luck, but my runs are not as smooth as they seem. i found myself to have to resort to my pray pot more often. Here is my equip, inv, and stats, any advice are appreciated Attack 76 Strength 73 Defence 74 HP 76 Magic 72 Range 65 Prayer 52 Slayer 41 (just for the record) Equipment Farseer's Helm Unholy Symbol God Cape Rune Arrows Monk's Top Monk's Bottom Unholy book Lava Staff Mystic Boots Ring of Life Chaos Gauntlets Inventory: 200 Chaos runes 630 Airs 10 Law Runes Ectophial Rune Platebody Rune Platelegs Rune Kite Red Dragon Hide body Red Dragon Hide chaps Magic Short Bow Dragon Scimitar 2 Prayer Potions rest Monkfish Attack Plan : Dharok Karil Verac Gunthan Torag Ahrim Kill Count : 20+ (usually about 20) Now i understand that Magic Dart is highly recommended for Barrowing, and I do not deny its effectiveness, however because of my slayer level, i do not have the access to Magic Darts. Should I train my Prayer up more? If so, what would be a good level so i can alter my initial Equip to say Zamorak Robes (i dont think high level prayer is reachable with my resources as of yet) Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
  2. willows are 67.5 Maples are 130 (?) and Yews are 175
  3. potters wheel is a spinning table thing that potter uses to make pots out of clay, it spins because you can make circular pots much easier. As for potter's wheels positions, there are some in the barbarian village. to use them you have to use soft clay on the wheel (which can be made by mining clay and add water), and you can make clay things based on your crafting level. to finish the pottery, you must use it on a pottery oven, which should be right beside any potter's wheel you find.
  4. they cannot be traded unfortunately, you can only get them by killing stuff in the abyss...
  5. Dragon gloves areis available when you have finished all the sub quests (not including beating the culinoramancer), barrow gloves become available when the whole quest is finished When you finished the first part of the quest (no subquest finished), you are allowed a normal pair of gloves, then when each of the subquest is finished, it opens 1 after the other. starting from bronze
  6. torag for me... EDIT: though if one wishes to be technical, its a lv 1 (or 2?) spider on Ape Atoll. The nasty bugger poisoned me, i forgot and then was knocked down to 1hp, just about to eat, bam! poison kicked in..... lovely...
  7. the equip may not apply to you, but the attack plan should be followed strictly. The barrow brothers are deadly to those who are unprepared and/or have meager supplies.
  8. a very safe way is wear the best prayer bonus you can and take 10 prayer pots, you will be almost immune to the brothers then. that would get you to know what barrowing is like, and act accordingly later.
  9. of course, there is a bank in the arena and in ardy, so the best way to get there is go with NOTHING on, so you dont actually lose anything when you get pk'ed, they have everything to lose (runes used to teleblock, entangle and their dragon dagger specials.)
  10. in that case, use the runners if you wish. I only said what said because i level my rc for higher runes as well
  11. archery monkeys, if you examine them, will say that they are bow wielding ninja monkeys. The way i described above is exactly the way i got my ninja greegree
  12. AND until a level where you can compensate for the money you paid for it. 44 would be a good level to stary, but will still cost a bit. 55 will allow you to do it comfortably
  13. use the axe on bob in lumbridge. Literally use it on him, he will ask you for a fee, pay him and the axe is good as new.
  14. definitely not, airs sell for 20ea, and if you buy your ess at 20ea, you need to craft 6 per ess before you can break even, that means at least lv 55. EVen then it is hard to sell airs at 20ea.
  15. they must wear black robes, also you need to apply to them see if they let you runecraft
  16. Brimhaven dungeon are loaded with them, though they are lv 63 wild dogs so i dont know if is the same dog... i never got that assignment before.
  17. The air runners will always give you 25 essence, no more, no less. And they will most likely ONLY take cash, which is 2.5k each trade. If they want airs, you have to give them 5 airs per ess at least (so you need at least 44 runecraft to satisfy this). They also would most likely to have only 25 unnoted ready because many crafters there have 3 items in their inventory (air runes, noted essence and cash).
  18. there is only 2 types of rune runners in operation in runescape, thery are Law and Airs. For Airs, you need to look for the Air Company's Thread on the official forums so that you can apply to be a crafter. The pay is you give them 2500gp and 25 notes normal essence, they give you 25 unoted essence For Laws, you need to look for their thread on the forums here and apply to be a crafter, the pay is you give them 27 laws and 27 noted pure essence, and they give you 27 unnoted essence. Definitely no1 runs deaths, because 1 the altar is a nightmare to get to and you need to complete a very hard quest of Mourning's Ends part 2. For others you need to make private arrangements, you can forget about looking for chaos and death runners because there simply would not be enough of them. Nat runners are only useful if you have 91 rc. EDIT : For airs, the runners only want cash, for Laws, the runners only want Laws. Oh you need to complete troll stronghold to be able to craft laws, just to make sure you know
  19. i think its underground pass way, unless you have the elf crystal (which if i remember correctly, you need to have done roving elves, another quest stemming from regicide)
  20. You wont last long in there, unless you know what to kill. Full melee armor required, as well as full inventory of food, with 2 free spaces for possible drop before food is needed. you NEED to be careful with the Guardian's and Walkers, even at my level they hurt and i hardly ever hit walkers. The only monster you should ever concentrate on are the leechers. 10 HP, quick kills. Best is run until you see a part where there are a lot of leechers and few others. You need to search for it though. Thats the way you should do it if you want to, but IMHO, dont venture in the abyss until you get decent defence at least.
  21. Well the way i run it is this: Combat currently 92 76 Hp 76 Attack 73 Strength 74 Defence 52 Prayer (...) 72 Mage 65 range (... karils is for when i get 70 ranged) Equip: Farseer Helm Unholy Symbol Saradomin Cape Rune Arrows Lava Staff Monks Robe top and bottom Unholy Book Chaos Gauntlets Mystic Boots Ring of Life Inv: Ectophial 200 Chaos Runes 630 Air Runes 10 Law Runes Whip Rune Plate, legs, kite red dragon top and bottom MSB 2 Prayer pots spade Rest monkfish I kill gunthan and Torag relatively unharmed, only need the odd fish here and there. I just seems to cant get enough of ahrim's fire wave, nor racks from the chest :P so thats why i am wondering..
  22. with runners, optinum maybe 3000 an hour, maybe more, maybe less WIthout runners, with pouches, maybe 1500
  23. of course. I have 62 rc and i have a giant pouch. You just need to be patient with the drops.
  24. you can shorten down a bit of walking by using glories and lyres. 14 lyres would be optinum number to have, so you recharge all of them in the same trip
  25. the problem will most likely be that he wont be able to. you cant log out when you are in combat
