  1. that was a educated comment
  2. it really depends on what you are using the set for (show off? Training? Dueling?) Karil's set is ok, though not really worth the money for the set. The x Bow is good, albeit the ammo is expensive, and you cant pick them up Ahrim's set is one of the best (if not the best), mage armor set. The weapon is officially the most useless barrow piece. Torags set has already been described above Guthan's set is the most expensive, and it has a reason. It covers the cost of your food when training, because it has the leeching effect. which means if you are training melee, the only time when you need to bank is when you are full on loot. Dharok's set is for training/dueling, due to its high damage, though I personally believe that the set is too risky either way as it is the slowest weapon of all the barrows. Verac's is used for its prayer bonus, and for its armor ignoring effect, very powerful in dueling. (second most expensive, though its about 1/2 of that of guthan)
  3. high alch yew longs
  4. they actually give quite handsomely if you have completed the Royal trouble quest, not only you get more from them (in both variety and quantity), their favor drops significantly more slowly, its worth a try.
  5. Strictly speaking, only torag's platelegs is of any significance, as it is the only piece of torags that gives the set that little extra defence. Thus if you already have guthan's or dharok's armor, then only the plate legs is woth getting. The set effect isnt great, nor is the weapon, and the plate and helm as the same stats as the other 2...
  6. Multi Logging is the act of having more than 1 account under your possession logged in at the same time. Thus the above scenario will break the rule, regardless if 1 account is logged in on earth and the other is on Alpha Centuri
  7. Correction: Torags Drain Run Energy when a Damaging attack is made (not always, i think its 10%) Karils Drain Agility when a Damaging attack is made (not always) Ahrims Drain strength when a damaging spell is successfully made (even 0 counts, but not splashes)
  8. Why would you want to tenderize a bear??? Makes for better tasting stews... 8-) try meat tenderiser from recipe, now THATS some tenderising, for some top quality stew and wild pie fillings. Whip on its own, Barrow weapons will depend on situation, though they all need their set. however there are more instances where whip wins, so whip..
  9. if you dont have a blessed sickle anymore, then just use a normal silver sickle on the nature altar, if you wish to make more, drop the blessed version, bless another one, drop, repeat as many times as desired and pick them all back up
  10. unfortunately party hat was a result of a tradable holiday item, and that they are replacable (and free), so they obviously dont want people to abuse that
  11. the good ore are right beside the salve crystals, and if you complete the quest, there are addy there to be mined and you dont need a light source to go there. The mushroom is apparently just used to reveal ghosts, not as a light source. the nearest bank will be burgh de rott using the short cut.
  12. Turoths can only be killed by slayer dart, but slayer dart can be cast on other things, even players i think
  13. there is only one place where the Harpie Bug Swarm exist, and thats the nothern cost of the southern part of karamja If you have done jungle potion recently, then you might remember some swirling monsters that you gone past to get 2 of the herbs, those swirling monsters are Harpie bug swarms Please dont forget harpie bug lantern and your lv 33 slayer (i forgot about mine when i was recovering from the kamil clone in recipe for disaster, tried to hit wall beast, hit nearly 100 zero's and nearly reported jagex as a bug :P)
  14. Barrows The stats for Barrows are: +12 Slash Attack and Defence +12 Stab Attack and Defence +12 Crush Attack and Defence +6 Magic Attack and Defence +12 Range Attack and Defence Dragons: +9 +9 +9 +5 +9
  15. The tip it guide ACTUALLY suggest to mage IN full rune. Maging in full rune against guthan and torag is probably the most efficient way to kill them both. Even if you have like -30 magic attack bonus, you still hit those 2 24/7. And why do you do it? Because you DONT need prayer for these two. You fight them head to head. The only brother that gives me trouble is ahrim. For record, it does seem tha Dharok is his tunnel brother. Tunnel drain prayer 1.5x as fast as in crypts... Although that aside, Mage is definitely the way to go (prayer out fit for the first 3, then melee mage the next 2, range the last one). Melee is the most inefficient way to kill them.
  16. i dont have a pick, but i have like 150k in mine, 100%, no mining whatsoever, 100% herbs, 50% fish, still got 2 saphs and 1 ruby..
  17. Complete the Fremmenik Trials, and wear Charged Glory Go to edgeville bank, gear up for dagannoth, teleport to Relleka using a charged lyre. Run west to the Lighthouse, own a few daggys teleport back out when you run out of food (you should teleport out when you have 1 food left) to maybe edgeville, bank and refill, repeat.
  18. not necessarily. When i was using Deaths (not slayer dart), I found myself using roughly the same amount of Deaths and chaos (with gaunts, 80-100 ea trip), Unless slayer dart does significantly more damage (the highest i have seen is 17, which is NOT significant), chaos works better as cheap Runes. When i was on deaths, i was losing deaths. When i am using chaos, after about 100 trips, i still have gathered 3k left in my bank.
  19. From what i know, it is but it isnt affected as much as other spells... Off topic, you sig is too big
  20. rune gloves, there is 1 councillor members you cannot save, they are Lumbridge Guide. The quest requisite for Guide has a quest that has prayer bonus. I am not sure about the legends quest needing 42 prayer to FINISH or start the quest. It will be rune gloves if you only need the prayer to finish it, but addy gloves if you need it to start legends
  21. There are two choices here: Dessous has 2 attacks, melee and a Magic hit (the magic hit will ALWAYS hit, so your magic bonus or penalties doesnt actually affect it). If you put on melee prayer, he will hit with the magic one and vice versa. It depends whether you prefer constant 5's or random melee's. The most effective way to kill him is to use Mage (i killed him with Fire Bolt with chaos gaunts, prayer equip and melee prayer, and killed with with about half inv of tuna potato's left.)
  22. if you dont like burning your mobney just to raise a few smithing levels, but you dont investing a bit of time to raise 2-3, then there are either: Steel Smelting (good money, though slow) or Cannon Ball Making (again a bit slow, but still you can get money)
  23. monk fish is a better choice for a fast leveling, the dissadvantages are though that the fish burn a bot more often then 1 might like, and its a LONG walk to get there, and the quest requirement is a bit harsh for low levels. But the reward is excellent (16 hp food, very good for budget, yet good food). Shilo is very good for power fishing, though you DO lose money as you have to buy feathers, and the food isnt great (salmons are good for cheap HP refill at bank though) both beats lobsters anyway, from my experience
  24. it only raises it by 2 i think
  25. there are still other weapons to train str with. For the record, ALL the barrows weapons on their own does not win over the Dragon Selection (with Karil's Crossbow being the exception), so Whip
