Complete the Fremmenik Trials, and wear Charged Glory Go to edgeville bank, gear up for dagannoth, teleport to Relleka using a charged lyre. Run west to the Lighthouse, own a few daggys teleport back out when you run out of food (you should teleport out when you have 1 food left) to maybe edgeville, bank and refill, repeat.

not necessarily. When i was using Deaths (not slayer dart), I found myself using roughly the same amount of Deaths and chaos (with gaunts, 80-100 ea trip), Unless slayer dart does significantly more damage (the highest i have seen is 17, which is NOT significant), chaos works better as cheap Runes. When i was on deaths, i was losing deaths. When i am using chaos, after about 100 trips, i still have gathered 3k left in my bank.

question on the new(ish) gloves- (dragon, barrows etc)
chenw replied to tom121's topic in Help and Advice
rune gloves, there is 1 councillor members you cannot save, they are Lumbridge Guide. The quest requisite for Guide has a quest that has prayer bonus. I am not sure about the legends quest needing 42 prayer to FINISH or start the quest. It will be rune gloves if you only need the prayer to finish it, but addy gloves if you need it to start legends -
There are two choices here: Dessous has 2 attacks, melee and a Magic hit (the magic hit will ALWAYS hit, so your magic bonus or penalties doesnt actually affect it). If you put on melee prayer, he will hit with the magic one and vice versa. It depends whether you prefer constant 5's or random melee's. The most effective way to kill him is to use Mage (i killed him with Fire Bolt with chaos gaunts, prayer equip and melee prayer, and killed with with about half inv of tuna potato's left.)

if you dont like burning your mobney just to raise a few smithing levels, but you dont investing a bit of time to raise 2-3, then there are either: Steel Smelting (good money, though slow) or Cannon Ball Making (again a bit slow, but still you can get money)
-
monk fish is a better choice for a fast leveling, the dissadvantages are though that the fish burn a bot more often then 1 might like, and its a LONG walk to get there, and the quest requirement is a bit harsh for low levels. But the reward is excellent (16 hp food, very good for budget, yet good food). Shilo is very good for power fishing, though you DO lose money as you have to buy feathers, and the food isnt great (salmons are good for cheap HP refill at bank though) both beats lobsters anyway, from my experience

it only raises it by 2 i think

there are still other weapons to train str with. For the record, ALL the barrows weapons on their own does not win over the Dragon Selection (with Karil's Crossbow being the exception), so Whip

bloods are 500-600 ea. They are max 450 in stores.

I know, i was in nearly the same situation as you were when i became members. Fletching is ok to train if you have some feathers to start with. The fastest xp would be making arrow shafts. As soon as you hit lv 20, go to oak shorts, then 25 for oak longs. 35 move onto willows, then 40 onwards UNTIL 70, willow longs (DO NOT STRING BOWS). For farming I think Satenza has written a guide about fast low level farming, its in the archive of wisdom in p2p general sticky for herblore it is a royal pain in the rear to train, although i do suggest you start with the al kharid warriors for herbs. easy kills, they come to you to kill, they drop heaps of herbs and sometimes clue scrolls. And KEEP all the unid herbs you have, they will come VERY useful later (especially ranaars) As for slayer, there is only a few things i can say. For your level, i would give the Edgeville dungeon slayer master a shot, very good. For the 70 attack, i trained that before i got my members, thiough all i can remember was training on edgeville hobgoblins with rune scimmy. I never trained without a whip in p2p so i wouldnt be able to give a better answer. Complete lost city (gives access to d longs and daggers), tree gnome village (gives tree teleports and needed for grand tree ques), Grand Tree quest (needed for gnome gliders and Monkey madness, which opens Dragon scimmy), Ghosts ahoy (gives access to Ectovial), The Fremmenike Trials (gives access to fremmenik helms) and the other teleport quests.

though the attack bonus of Bandana is 5 less than robin hat. I think Archer's Helm is a better argumen here. Better defence bonus and only 2 less ranged bonus, but 3.94m cheaper (archer is about 60-70k, 78k if you feel like burning some cash for the RS economy)

They can be bought either in Keldagrim cloth shop or the Miscellania Underground City Cloth shop

Are not fishing in the right spot There is only 1 spot that fishes sharks, and thats the spot with the NET/HARPOON option. The Cage/Harpoon option will ONLY let you fish Tuna and Swordfish

When i died with full rune, i kept my whip, so it would most likely be kept as your first item However as suggested, unless you are ABSOLUTELY prepared to lose everything you have (even the 1 item protection prayer), do NOT go near the wildy.

did you talk to malak about how to kill a vampire named Dessous in canafis before you went to rauntun? And make sure you are not using a silver bar on him, and ask him about being a servant to count draynor, then you have an option to ask him to make a ceremonial pot.

f2p : crafting guild is by far your best bet p2p : Complete Between a rock, it would be the best place you can mine gold. Otherwise Crafting guild is pretty handy

When i became members, I was really lucky that I have decided to have enough money and stats for a whip, simply because i know its power and speed allowed me to not have to do monkey madness for some time. Before, my Strength was at least 3 levels higher than attack or defence, and training in Free was painful. When i got my whip, i when up a few levels in defence and attack in a matter of hours (rather than days). All i can say is this: when i got my d scimmy eventually, i found strength to be painful to train because it cant compare to whip for power. In all, i say it is worth the money. My whip went through many quests with me as well as a few combat levels

hang on though, did you first talk to the captain of the squad, and then go to zoolnook and asked him to make you a M'Speak amulet?

that hurts... my biggest loss on RS since members was doing troll stronghold quest, forgetting to put on melee pray on the troll general (member noob experience, on f2p you would rare use prayer at all), and 3hitt'ed me. I was extremely lucky to have kept my whip, but i lost an Obby shield and an obby cape, as well as some food and bits and pieces, totally about 1m. I have also have 7 glories pk'ed from abyss RCing and another few hundred k because i was careless against torag and died when he hammered 2 20+ on me (23 then 21, ended up a few kilos and an ectophial lighter), didnt lose much but some of it was annoying to replace.

i am not sure, i cannot say because of the lack of farming experience does it does somewhat suggest it
-
1) Every herb only needs 1 seed to be planted 2) it varies, i have never ever gotten below 5 (i am currently 37 farming), and i have gotten 8 max so far.

You cant just look at the Base bonus, you HAVE to take into account of the Damage bonus as well. The way you calculate is, suppose that you hit 0-(insert max damage of the spell) all with equal likelihood, then what your AVERAGE damage should be is [max damage]/2. So with Crumble Undead, you can deal up to 15 damage, so your average would be 7.5, or 15xp average per shot on top of the Crumble undead. 24.5+15 = 39.5 Average Fire Bolt is 22.5 base, 12 max hit, so 12 xp average on top of it 34.5 per cast on average. If you want to take costs into account (assume the worst case scenarios on prices): Fire Bolt needs 3 airs and 1 chaos, 210 per cast, so it costs 6.09p per xp Crumble undead needs 2 airs and 1 chaos, 190 per cast, so 4.81gp per xp But if you compare the above stats with Fire strike: Fire strike has base of 11.5, and 8 max damage, so you hit 19.5 per cast on average. Cost of fire strike is 60 gp (1 mind and 2 airs), so 3.08gp per xp. If you compare, Fire Strike is 50% cheaper than Fire Bolt, but is 50% slower. If you want stats for Deaths just for completeness sake: Fire blast has 34.5 base, with 16 max hit. That makes it 50.5 per cast. Cost of Fire Blast is 380 per cast, and costs 7.52 gp per xp

did to talk him saying that you WANT to make a talisman? Also what part does not work? Giving him the talisman, the remains or both?
