  1. I do indeed, all 3 sets of them.
  2. Just remember to use Magic on Jad and Har-aken, and use crystals too to save supplies
  3. Basic jist is nothing much have actually changed in Kiln, except for their difficulty pretty much. The last time I did it (which is before they changed the obsidian armor a second time to how it works now), the normal mobs do much less damage than what they used to do pre-eoc. You can follow the Pre-eoc guides, they serve post EoC well, since spawn locations have not changed at all.
  4. I have my eyes set on pretty much just Graador and QBD atm, and I am farmiliar with meleeing QBD. Thanks, although it would be great if you could with the following too :P 1. Has QBD gotten much harder to the point that profit per hour from her has been reduced significantly? 2. Would Bandos suffice QBD/Graador? I am wondering this, as I have All PoP armors, can get bandos no sweat. I can afford Torva and Drygores, but it would bring me pretty close to bankruptcy, especially considering how much up and down high tier market is.
  5. The change is that they changed the way Dual wield calculated their damage a while back, which made the damage on them on par with two handers, therefore, judging from the Token costs alone, Chaotic Claws and Maul costs the same, and Chaotic Claws have Critical strike to boot. That, coupled with the fact that Dual wield abilities are better than 2h versions on Single target, pretty much nails it. Lastly, an obscure advantage: you have the option of using a shield with claws, you don't even get that option if went for a maul.
  6. No, thats after making my initial set with pretty much nothing left over. Was wondering how long it would take to replace an entire set of pop armor when starting from no trade goods.
  7. Wasn't there a surcharge required to play OSRS?
  8. Last time I checked, the Slayer masters in Burth had different stocks to rest of the world. Edit: My bad, I may actually have confused... I think I mistook the 3k as 3k per slayer master, rather than 3000 split between the two slayer masters. I think it's 1500 per slayer master per 24 hours.
  9. Don't forget broad arrowheads, you can get 3k in burth and another 3k from any slayer master outside of Burth everyday.
  10. They take DPS into account, not actual weapon hit (if it did, Mace would have been utterly trash, since it won't do as much damage as even chaotic Long/Rapier), so having a Chaotic off hand instead of Drygore, regardless of what Chaotic and Drygore, is a bad idea.
  11. Partially also because the guys who made NV also had guys who made the old fallout 2, much of the stuff that works in NV are taken over from FO2 (Such as several character background stories, like the pilot in Novac, the Scientist outside of Lucky 38, the abandoned Highwayman, Crimson Caravans to name but a few). But there are some complaints over the fact that EVERYTHING is so bloody crowded lol. But the gems of the game are I believe the DLC's, I kind of played the DLC's in the wrong way round, and never really fully appreciated Ulysses until I played through most of the game and the DLCs. Anyway, thoughts on Company of Heroes 2: Controls are a little wonky at times, but otherwise I am quite impressed with the game so far (only 4 hours played)
  12. ^slow down will you? :P Nearly back up to 200 plates now, which is pretty much bang on what I expected it would take to entirely replace a superior set of armor from nothing (all 3 sets in 3 months, roughly, no earlier).
  13. It's hard to avoid a few glitches like that though, especially considering the scope of the game. I don't think it's a fair representation of Coder's competency over a few subtle programming glitches.
  14. Melee works slightly differently because the damage come from the weapon, unlike magic, so there is no grey area if you will regarding damage. The grey area of magic is what happens if you have a higher tier spell equipped than your weapon (for both ranged and melee, that doesn't happen)
  15. It's enough to convince majority of the people who are looking for an upgrade. But, as I mentioned, that pattern only works up to T80, what happens to Seismic is anyone's guess. Knowing Jagex, it may completely deviate from this pattern
  16. Hey all, enquiring mind must know :P Is it more useful to upgrade to Drygores/Torva or to Ascension/Pernix? I will most likely be using it for QBD and GWD.
  17. With regards to the damage thing with dual wield, I take every part of it back, my tests show that Weapon tier DO affect damage, but It's much smaller when compared to other styles (but this is only true up to t80) All of the following are Fire surge wrack crit ranges, the bracket means average: T80: 1791 ~ 1870 (1828) T70: 1721 ~ 1804 (1767) T60: 1662 ~ 1715 (1685) About 5% per 10 tier difference
  18. T1 staff (air staff) comes to 1327-1358 crits with Wrack on air surge, pretty close to wizard wand+book crits. Pretty sure it's intended that lower tiered magic weapons aren't supposed to be hitting as hard as higher tiered counterparts. Unless you're saying that wizard wand+book are actually overhitting for their tier? Probably some scaling system for magic damage if you use undertiered weapons compared to a spell. You already showed wand and book overhitting their tier by showing that Master Wand and book hit for their theoretical value of air surge wrack critical, so it would seem to me that dual wield, as it is with ranged, is based on the 'ammo' of the attack, and that alone (the ammo in this case being the spell), the difference between Magic and Ranged is that equipment does not limit what spell you cast, while ranged do (they all have a maximum bolt they can fire). All I am saying, and am going to see if I can either prove that this is either true or false. The justification of lower tier things hitting lower boggles me because the % and the tier difference makes no sense (it seems very random).
  19. Your masterwand/book figure is almost identical to the theoretical value of air surge's wrack crit Theoretical is 1646 (794+99)*1.5*1.25 Which means that at least t60 do not cap t80 damage. Somehow wizard wand is doing 30% damage than it should have been...
  20. even without the lead, the monetary rewards would have been greatly diminished compared to the beginning anyway
  21. Try comparing with 2 sets of dual wield weapons. Staves have a hidden damage in them, making them act like RCB with bolts (IE damage on the weapon and the bolt, rather than just bolt alone as in the case with CCB), and hence explains why Dragon staff and chaotic staff have different damage. There shouldn't be any between two sets of dual wield weapons, and both should be higher than Chaotic staff Edit: I should have actually clarified that my previous statement assumes Dual wield. That feature of magic also pretty much blows every and all staves out of the water in terms of raw damage. For example: Virtus wand/book is decisively better than Chaotic staff because it can utilise t90 spells to full potential, while Chaotic staff cannot due to its inherent and unscalable damage, thereby reducing the overall damage.
  22. Since yesterday? I tried it at barrows not more than 16 hours ago
  23. Not with magic, spell has no bearing on weapon. I could cast Fire surge in t0 weapons and still do t90 damage (assuming DW).
