  2. I am personally very much looking forward to NIS update. At least now I can zoom my RS to full screen without handicapping myself by dragging my inv and bank screens apart by 100 miles (which is basically my only gripe with Full screen RS, otherwise I would have never played on windowed). Just surprised it took them this long to implement it

Personally I would keep all of the FoTS for the trios, since the extra reward on it is much greater than a solo trade good: Trio is 2x 50, with Merchant, it's 2x 65 (50 * 1.3), with FoTS it's 2x 71 (50 * 1.3 * 1.1). So you get 12 extra trade good per trio voyage instead of just 3 for a solo. If FoTS grew on trees then I would have also used them, but unforunately they are not (after I completed my trios, it took me well over 2 weeks to get another FoTS, despite doing random event everyday, so I take that as a sign of its rarity).
  4. As a free player though, there isn't that great a many quest, and after finishing all the quests, the quest tab is practically useless thereafter. I highly recommend switching back to the Academy button at least after you have finished all of the quests. I personally think misclicking and opening up a useless quest screen (I completed all of the quests) rather infuriating, so I kept the tab on Academy.

  9. 1. No idea, but I assume that if it does, it would be very small 2. I believe so. Quest tab may be more useful to you now, once you complete all the quests, feel free to switch back to combat academy, since the button is a free instant teleport to a nearby bank deposit box.

If you are in anyway into fashionscaping, I would advise to NEVER make the coronets into the crown, because the Coronets don't change look based on the season (unlike the crown, so you can't really control the look of it), and crowns look largely similar to the Coronet (the only major difference between that the Tiara part of the coronet goes around the back of your head as well rather than just the front). Lastly, you can always buy a crown, but you can't buy Coronets. AFAIK, Coronets do not disappear after the event, due to the coronets being reclaimable from Diango after being destroyed My 2cents

    That's the first I have heard, I thought the Tokkuls were common drops... Submit a bug report, or perhaps you may have missed them because their graphics are very hard to see on the ground?

  13. Just a heads up, since you don't plan to take ranged weapon with you, you will kill the range weak ones slower. Kiln is different in that the Combat triangle is artificially enforced, meaning that it will take less damage from styles that it was not weak to (55% less damage IIRC), so you will kill the mages quite slowly.

  17. If by defensive you mean keeping you alive, then yes, its defensive, but it's one where it would benefit you more if you went offensive rather than defensive. Reason? A dual wield set up will do at the very very least, 50% extra damage compared to one with shield (the dps change will probably be closer to 100% increase, due to the increased number of offensive abilities that are available AND the ones you are using). So by that estimate, you will need to take at least 50% more damage from your for tanking to be more usable for survivability. I am not aware of any fight that is the case. If the SS healing completely cancels out the damage taken, then obviously the Dual wield will win, because he/she will kill 33% more bosses in the same time the Sword and Board will kill. Hence, Offensive setups, as it stands, is superior to any defensive setup, SS, ironically for defensive prayer, actually helps offensive hold that position

  20. right click on the button on the action bar, and select Customize keybind, this allows you to remap the keys. I HIGHLY suggest a configuration where all your skills can be pressed without moving your hand. I also put the 4 most used abilities on ASDF keys (assuming a QWERTY keyboard here) If you mean how to assign abilities to the action bar, go to your spell book (note, there are two melee tabs), and simply drag the ability in the book to your action bar.
  21. He is probably suggesting that as soon as you get enough for the MH after you resell the OH, get it, then rebuy the OH later.
  22. I take that statement back, I was drawing completely the wrong conclusion, Chaotic staff and Virtus wand and book are pretty much the same in terms of Wrack at least, but DW is better
  23. The MH contributes bulk of the damage, OH only contributes a 1/3 of it. So a MH upgrade is at least twice as powerful as a OH hand. The reason for at least is because Accuracy takes MH only into account, and OH is basically just a damage stat stick. Hence the value of the MH is much larger than an OH upgrade, by miles.
