Weird, I had satelite net from Dish once and my download was around 200kb/s but my upload wouldn't go past around ~1kb/s and I had crap pings. I used to have satelite for downloading and 56k for gaming.

Having trouble with hard drive partition

You can likely resize it from the utility that the Linux installation (environment) gives you to partition your harddrive. -

In the late 80's Cannibal Corpse w/ Chris Barnes.

Flightgear is a great Flying Simulator and works well on UNIX and Windows. It's pretty cool :)

They're pretty well known, but my favorite Power metal band is Dragonforce My favorite symphonic band is Symphony X Anyways, Six Feet Under, which I just began to check out because it's got Cannibal Corpse's old vocalist Chris Barnes. It's pretty good. I just got Graveyard Classics 1 which is a great collection of covers. Graveyard Classics 2 is a cover of the whole "Back in Black" album by ACDC. Hoping to get my hands on that.

I started out with those, and they are stable and easy if you take 15-20 minutes of your time to read a bit of documentation. For a lifetime of functionality I think it's worth it.

Not all motherboards support that.. Aswell as a possible (but not here) waste of money.

You're likely looking for 'PC2100' and not 'PC3200', and don't buy off of Walmart. Try http://www.newegg.com. You might want to confirm my little PC3200 to PC2100 idea.

First of all, it's probably best to add javac[Caution: Executable File] (The compiler) to your environmental variables. Second of all, your missing the extension. It outputs AppName.class You have to run it using java AppName.class

Eh, I never really like XGL/AIGLX. Although, if you have a compatible video card then you can just spare yourself the trouble of setting up XGL and grab AIGLX (Comes with Xorg 7.1).. For my main desktop I use Sourcemage GNU/Linux and nothing else.. Another one to check out.

No, you have to open it up and stick it in a slot. It's very simple. You should insert it in one of the ones labeled "DIMM Slots". It may not look exactly the same.

FreeBSD isn't Linux, but it's another UNIX-like and I've ran it on a system with 12mb of RAM and it ran fairly good. There have been reports of using it on 4mb of RAM or so but it obviously runs sluggishly. Great community, great stability, probably the best package manager (Many Linux distros have been trying to copy it [Gentoo, among others]). http://www.freebsd.org/ Read the documentation and you should be fine. Anyways, the video you were watching was probably XGL/AIGLX. And to the lack of playable games, I've got 15+ games I play on Linux. Wolfenstein 3d/Enemy Terrtiroy True Combat: Elite Tremulous Quake 1-3 (& Countless mods) Doom 1-2 Battle for Wesnoth Any Java based (Runescape) Planeshift Eternal Lands The Mana World (Heavy development) Neverwinter Nights etc.

For servers I'd recommend: FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD (Not Linux) Gentoo GNU/Linux, Sourcemage GNU/Linux, Arch GNU/Linux. For desktops I'd recommend: FreeBSD (Not Linux) Gentoo GNU/Linux, Sourcemage GNU/Linux, Arch GNU/Linux. Of course, these aren't exactly the most user-friendly operating systems. Although you should be fairly fine if you have a little bit of computer literacy and read the manual. Consult their IRC channels if you need real-time help.

It cost around $25 to upgrade your RAM to 512mb. What you need is a stick of 256mb RAM. Although you must find some that will be compatible with your motherboard. I'd say contact whoever you bought your computer off of and ask them about it.

Is driving people towards failure. I do realize it's my fault because I didn't pick up a physical handbook. So, I've been 16 for a while and since I could get my learners at 15 I decided to take it Online. I go, and take a test. Normally altogether to get a learners it's around $80. I payed $140. I took the D.A.T.A. test for $35, it all went fine. Then I had to take the real test for $25. I failed twice, and each time I must pay $20. And then I realized I had been ignoring the images. I figured all of the important information was written out.. not in the images. I gaze at an image and see that's it looks like something that came out of my [wagon]. There's no way you can possibely gain anything off of THIS: All of the images are like this, and thanks to it I'll be more broke. I'm definately reporting this to my state official. The stateofflorida.com website, which is what I got it off of is not part of our state, but it's practically the only way to take it online and everyone suggests it when I ask. It's utter crap and I hope someone will fix the images.

If it's long as in.. long (Below shoulders.. kind of) then I don't really mind. E.X. If it's like.. 'bug head' or whatnot (Not sure what to refer to it. Pretty close to equaliteral back and front length) then I don't. Although my personal preference for hair is bald or buzzed.

Neither of them are 'innovative.' Motions sensors have been out for quite a while. High-end gaming machines have been out for quite a while.. The only thing I see here close to an innovation is a new processor architecture (PPC CELL). Anyways, I'd save this argument until they've both been out for a while.

That's called dependancy management. Most modern distros support it.
-
It's not really much of an extension anymore. Anyways, I prefer it over Ubuntu. The package managing utilities are much nicer.

Powerpuff Girls Z Transformation OWNS ALL.

I believe you can use apt-get to get rid of gnome and get kde. Ask about it in forums/irc

That test said I'd be using Gentoo or Slackware. Anyways, they're both pretty easy as long as you read the documentation for a few minutes before installing and know some general PC knowledge. I suggest Sourcemage, but if you don't have a 'shiney new' computer you'll be waiting for compile times quite a bit. FreeBSD is also a great choice for other UNIX operating system (Not related to Linux). The software selection is almost identical, it includes Linux emulation for proprietary software, and has source + binary packages. It's got a nice curses installer and good documentation.

Also, a great melodic death metal band, who got screwed by their record label released all of their music for free. Demilich

Linspire is poor IMO, I'm not going to get in design flaws but I'll put it at, I'm not suprised for those errors.
