  1. You'll move on. It will just take a lot of time and grief. She'll always be.. well.. sacred to you, but you won't be enthralled in thoughts about her so intensively. That's very unfortunate about your mother. I know how you may have a not-so-good last memory, but think of the good times you had to gather. If there is an afterlife, I bet she will be thinking of all of the good times and looking after you. I'm sorry about your loss. Regards.
  2. I don't see anything wrong. A lot of the newer malware inject themselves into an already running processes, though. Try Spybot: Search and Destroy.
  3. Receiving, I'm gaining something and losing nothing.
  4. Doom Collectors Edition is $10 at Walmart here. I've got a copy laying around.
  5. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817194004 It's probably a bit over what you need, but if you decide to go SLI it should still keep up. And yes, 430 watts is likely too low. (Companies say no, but real world results may differ, but I wouldn't try it.)
  6. If you're not blind, then you probably shouldn't judge the ability of a blind person.
  7. Anathema - Prog. Doom Metal (Experimental Rock later) Atheist - Jazz-Fusion Prog. Death Metal Cynic - Jazz-Fusion Prog. Death Metal Sleep Terror - Jazz-Fusion Prog. Death Metal Necrophagist - Neoclassical Tech. Death Metal Jimi Hendrix - Psychedelic Rock ZZ Top - Blues/Rock Fusion All I can think of right now.
  8. Menos Grande? Great name.. rofl
  9. Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze Just found "Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced?" laying around, classic. Ripped it to FLAC.
  10. Actually, you probably dream multiple times every night. The problem is remembering the dreams. To remember them, you have to wake up 'suddenly' from REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, for the most part. I've found the easiest way to get dreams is when you wake up, just go back to sleep.
  11. Doh, look @ the posts below me for answer to first Q. But, I did get 864 cubic feet of water.
  12. I'll watch it tonight, but I think I'll be pissed that I missed the first few episodes. Won't know what's going on.. I'll check the episode guide or something. My buddy has already watched a crapload of episodes and said it's good.
  13. That is called "lucid dreaming." Anyways, I believe that it's pretty much your brain 'analyzing' your subconscience.
  14. GeForce 7 Go! Series have their own set of drivers. Miscalculated floating points could either point to your processor or video card. They may be overheating, etc, or it may just be bad drivers, but don't keep your hopes up.
  15. Maybe try uninstalling the version you don't want, and keeping the other.
  16. I've listened to them before, they were on tour with Necrophagist. Anyways, Dying Fetus, Necrophagist, Demilich, Fanatical [Productions].. I've got some really 'D.O.' music laying around. I'm sure people have heard most of what I've listed.
  17. I assumed you meant 'chatspeak.' I recognize the difference, but the way you said "lazy" seems inaccurate. Most 'leetspeak' actually takes more to types than it's corresponding chatspeak or just regular English. Most people are more typing keys than numbers, and leetspeak's main address is to change letters into numbers. Doesn't seem lazy to me, but oh well -- wasn't trying to attack you or anything. :)
  18. In reference to chatspeak. Dialects of English usually don't encourage idiocy. Most dialects of English are based around being in a specific culture, so that specific culture can express ideas more efficiently and clearly. 'Chatspeak,' as I know it, administers no structural changes. The people who omit proper punctuation [and related] would likely do this regardless of using cheatspeak or not. Destroying vocabulary? I'm pretty sure it increases your vocabulary. Lazy? I thought of it to be pretty efficient. It saves time, when you say 'lol,' you are effectively using an acronym that is representative of chatspeak. See how efficient it is in comparison to typing "That one made me laugh," or "Laugh out loud," or related expressions. This is especially good for cell-phones, or small devices that are hard to type on. Yes, it is easy to get used to. You learn it, and you do it -- monkey see, monkey do. Well, when I read chatspeak my brain pretty much converts it to the acronym, or elongated word that it is representing. Just my 2c.
  19. If time is linear, then that is in fact proof that there will be no time travel. It depends of what interpretation of time that you use, honestly.
  20. I don't, they're almost all quite inaccurate. Also, the people there are often annoying. My tech. news comes almost exclusively from talking on IRC, or forums I browse.
  21. This is a tad off-topic, but may I request examples of such bands? Just out of interest. Euroforce - Power metal Symphony X - Symphonic Metal
  22. Neoclassical is written all over Necrophagist. Try "Fermented Offal Discharge" on the "Onset of Putrefacation" disc. The over one minute and thirty second solo is a great piece of neoclassical work. Anyways, if you like more 'no-vocals' or 'power-metal vocals' try Yngwie Malmsteen. He's a great neoclassical guitarist. Mostly instrumentals.
