A question to more experienced DNGneers about rings: I only have 1 ring atm which is berserker T8 and it would probably help some to get one other ring up to bar as well. My binds are SS hood, prom 2h, law runes. Most of the dungeones I am purely a DPSer, due to my farming lvl I have at times taken the role of the snaper as well. SO I am debating on weather it would be worth it to get gatherer ring up for second? I dont have a CSB and I don't really plan on either, due to my lowish rc lvl. Also I am dngin with DG sweepers exclusevly and we usually have ppl with CSBs in team, so I'll just grab the runes off the starting table + monster drops to help out with mage so I don't really think if a mage ring is worth it. SO to the pros around: is a gatherer ring for farming worth it or should i get mage ring for second? Or is there a third option that is even better?

That's just me, but - definately train slayer as long as you get maxxed comb stats. You need cmb anyway. I would probably get a chaotic rapier before 85 slayer thou. Slayer isn't a great moneymaker, but definately better than camping sth for comb stats. Be careful with DNG tho, since I got high enough DNG lvl to do floors with DG Sweepers I have rarely seen the overworld again, my 99 slay goal has been since long forgotten and so have my other overworldy chores... After 1st chaotic, got other rewards, now need another 100k tokens for chaotic no 2. So you have been warned! )

Oh my bad, your farming isn't high enough yet. I am however a bit unsure about the construction lvl, I don't think it's a must have. So someone correct me if I'm wrong, cause I've never been there and probably won't any time soon, but the minimum reqs for juju pots should be: 74 hunter 70 farming 64 herblore

According to your sig you have all the requirements for juju pots so you should definately do that. Me - lvl 1 hunter, i could care less. With juju potions only farm snaps at every patch ASAP, untill you're getting to snaps, toadflax is a decent way, also always plant limps when doing your farm runs. With getting to 85 - a long way to go for you, if you have spare cash definately do trees, and it's probably a good idea to use fruit trees as well (personally I used pineapples and BXWs just got 85 today), but don't take my word for it, I'm not entirely sure if you should do that or not. Don't really know the direction of the market with torstols and stuff.

When I had the same question a week ago then the main thing that came out as an answer was - unless you got money for 95 prayer, go for summoning as high as possible, it'll benefit more in the long run. I guess it depends a lot on what you do daily on rs, but summoning looks good. Ofc you would save a lot of money for prayer, but on the way to 95 prayer it prob doesn't make that much difference.

I bet they're fun, I'd have a lot of fun with them. BUT in order to do WGS I need 270 qp, atm i'm sitting on 167 or sth. No way in hell I'm gonna ever hit that 270 QP mark. Last time I did like 4 quests for farming i think, like 6 months ago. That was the worst 2 days ever spent on RS. :S

This. Also, get 91 summoning for t10 bloodragers. You'll get a lot of blues from TDs, too. TDs prob not gonna happen, I'd rather take a blunt knife and start chopping off my legs than do another one of Jagex's awesome quests. Frosts ofc might be a viabale option. I'll just go for 91 summoning for now.

Now THAT was what I was looking for, since I have never used curses I totally neglected the fact that I'd be giving up piety as well. That ofcourse flips pretty much everything upside down. Thank you for that! So, summoning it is. No prayer unless I can afford to go all the way to 95. Any mods looking - got my answer you can close the topic.

I ranged slayed a lot on my way to 99 ranged. Firstly - if you range in kuradals, I would only do greaters with rune darts or knives. (Reason for that - you get full advantage of the +40 dmg of fer ring cause you have faster attack) I didn't range anything else in kuradals, except the odd gargoyle task when I felt like tanking them. 2. If you use kuradals for rangeing you gotta be able to tank them, safespotting takes too long and is just wrong anyhow. 3. Cannon everything and anything you can, and range at the same time as well with knives/darts. Some examples of which monsters I did it with: black demons, black dragons, fire giants, hellhounds, dagganoths (ofc), dust devils, kalphites - they were all actually very decent xp btw. - There's prob more, can't remember atm, it was a while back. Additional: If you wanna range slay, you gotta use a cannon outside of kuradals, otherwise it's too slow. Always ranged potted + eagle eye Tank the monsters you can Use darts/knives over arrows/bolts. Get the highest lvl darts you can afford, e.g. 10k rune knives will last you for a very long time and they speed up the training a lot. Don't have time to add more atm, if I remember anything else, I'll add some more.

No need to get your feelings hurt, it just seems to me that summoning past where I am now will be really useful only when I get to 96. (no need for uni cause I dont MH) At the same, with prayer every lvl will help with my everyday slaying (pietying) and prayer will be useful at lvl 92. Am I mistaken? Eerm, why do you say that, any specific reason? Cause looking at your sig I am kind of under the impression that with your lvls you might not have sufficient knowledge to be giving advice on high lvl slaying, prayer or summoning..

It will save some time with certain tasks, but that's not the point. The main thing is, that unless im gonna go ahead and do some RWT (which i won't) 95 prayer atm seems a bit too far to aim for, and 92 would be a nice inbewteen point.

I know that I dont NEED pray 92to be effective at dg per say. But it would also prob speed up my slayer and in the end I want to lvl the skill anyway. The thing with summoning tho is that I would need about twice as many charms as I have atm. So I'm thinking - camping frosts with war turtoise for 80M = less time than camping any other mosnter for charms, lvling up summoning to 96 and then camping frosts with a Yak for 80M?

Ok, here's the deal: My stats are in my sig. After dnging with DG Sweepers I've really started to see why I would need prayer atleast 92 preferrably 95 ASAP for both DNG and slayer, but I also got a lot of charms banked. The problem is though, that atm there is no way in hell I'd have the money for 92 prayer, also not enough charms for 96 summoning. I also am not big on camping stuff for money so it would be kind of a slow process. My main money makers are MTK, slayer and farming. (I do the odd clue every couple of days but this will never get me there so we'll just discount that.) So should I get 92 prayer first or lvl summoning as high as I can? (atm got prob up to lvl 90 summoning charms) I have a feeling every1 will say prayer, but better safe than sorry. :P IF it is prayer, then how much is the difference if I do it in my own house as opposed to sum1 elses with burners lit? (I really really like my hunter and constr lvls at 1, but if need be then I can get constr up - what lvl do I need?) Also, could anyone give me a figure on about how much pray xp could I get from quests? I absolutely loathe questing, but if it is a lot of xp I am missing out on, then I might even do it. And lastly: are dragon bones the most efficient way to do it, or should I pay more and do frosts or sth? Cause taking into account my effies, I am looking at roughly 20-21k dragon bones for pray 92, which is a lovely 120M+ Thnx a bunch!

I don't know about the defensive style, prob other dungeoneers can give u a definite answer. But as far as I know (besrserker ring t6 on me) you should never fight defensive. Rapier or dng 85 is a +1 from me for sure. Also work on your farming while doing dng and herblore. Farming will help you with your cashpile for minimum effort and hernlore is good for general gaming. Prayer - I dunno about, I got low prayer lvl as well, but atm just dont got 60M sitting around to get it up. Prob get herblore to 85 first and then prayer.

Nah, I'm pretty confident that there'll be a couple in your way to 120 dg. And as soon as we get the first one I'm gonna be the main guy to troll every single time you are keying and do a sub 30 instead of a sub 20 floor. Trolling = good times.
