I agree with the above. In addition, if you are meleeing use a god sword on crush or even better - Dharoking, that's what I do anyway.

I would go with bunyip. yea, they might be a bit more expnsive, but if need be you can sell them easily, or even better, like i've been doing, use them for yourself in slayer. :)

If you are training only att or def it is pretty much: slayer XP*3=attack xp, you do the math. I don't think you will get to attack lvl 90 though.

okay, thanks a lot for the tips again. I got tons of super and pray pots from the bonus xp luckily. The only thing that I will need is the summoning potions. I'll buy a couple hundred of them right away then. If anyone has any more suggestions about my slayering then I will be really glad to hear them :)

Thanks a lot for the replies! ok, so the main point being for me, as i don't boss hunt, would be to sell it. The only thing is that i will want to get a fire cape when i get to slayer lvl 93, so that is pretty much the only place that i'd use it. Is it possible for me to get the cape without guthans though? Also, in general, it seems that guthan's price is pretty constant, so I could probably buy it back at roughly the same price, if I ever needed to.

Okay, haven't sold my guthans just yet. Did get myself a zamorakian spear though. But still waiting for advince with the guthans. because i can rake in a 15k cannonballs for that, and that would be lovely.

Ok, so my question is mainly for higher lvls and experience slayers. I've been slaying for a while and i used Guthans for a lot of tasks to speed them up. With the bonus xp weekend though i bumped my summoning up from lvl 1 to 74 so i've pretty much lost any use for my guthans now. With bunyip healing me I haven't used guthans at all. (and i am aiming for 88 so with a uni, it'll be even easier) I always train super potted and for some tasks like Gargoyles I use dharok to train str and speed up the task conciderably. My stats are att 94, str 89, def 93, slayer 87 and ranged 95 (60k to 96). The main idea for selling guthans is to get a zamorakian spear for waterfiends and a [cabbage]load of cannonballs to slay faster and get 99 ranged faster through slaying. Anyone who has experience with that stuff, is there any point for me to keep my guthans for later slaying lvls or no? (i don't do bosses, cause my connection is not really fast) Ofcourse i could get the money in a few hours through blues or greens or sth, but if i don't really need guthans i'd just sell it and save time. And yes, i cannon through all the tasks i can. PS! I just started re playing like a month ago, so all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

With your stats, you would probably be best to rane them - but it will be real slow. Or mage. If I were you i'd block them and et another task. If you do decide to range them, make sure to use emerald encante bolts in the beggining, the poion will add up in the end. And use addy or broad bolts minimum to finish them off.

Try to do the quest to get to monkfish as wel. It isn't all that hard, and you could probably rane or mage the trolls. In the long run the money and xp will be worth it. :)

prayer gear + slayer helm prayer pots and super str and super att grab a zamorakian book, or any zammy item for that matter and head up to the zammy mages. Pray mage I have prayer 64 and using monks robes and I get throuh a task of 200+ with 8 prayer pots, and i really don't try all that hard. The dragon boot drops pay for your pots easily and zammys are the ones with ridiculously low def. My sugestion would be go kill zammys if you want effiency, other methods are, well sorry, but they're just cheap.

60-67 herblore 16-75 summoning gonna take a break now, rest my eyes, go grab something to eat. Hopefully when i come back someone has sold me 170 whiteberries through GE, that would take me to almost 68 herblore. Later probably some cooking lvls.

Someone said (on the forums here) that you get an in game messae about your xp multiplier when you log in. Can't confirm that though. But it should start in 1 hour 50 mins more or les :)

Got all my herblore supplies banked ~1400 unf pots and seconds Got charms and seconds banked enouh to get to lvl 74-75 summonin (lvl 16 atm :D) Now just passing time and fishing until the actual weekend starts Goin to do the pots first, should take around 40 mins Then gonna do summonin run from the Swans Song quest whatever the city was (using iron ore so can't fly the balloon :(), then when i hit 49, i'll hop to CW and start usin balloon, as soon as i get 59 goin to summon kyatts and use them. If all my calculations are correct i will be able to hit my goals, but if my runs will be too slow and I won't reach lvl 49 i'll be [bleep]ed at like lvl 38 (i need an average of 1,99 xp multiplier to do my 2078 gold charms to get to 49 and bloated leech) , cause no seconds for that low lvl summoning :D If summonin is done, will cook a couple of thousand fish, and then train agility until i care to, doin some herb runs inbetween.

Got around 1k unf pots to do for the first half an hour. Then 2,1 golds 1,7k crimsons Should get me to lvl 68 summonin (17 atm) :D Have spent 8 mil on shards and a couple of mil for 2nds Didn't rhink i'd get myself ready, but it seems i will afterall. Only need around 900 sharks for bunyips at lvl 68

I only have one thing to add to all of the above. Always train super potted. Always super potted don't ever go any way else. Unless you kill NPC's like chickens, which I highly doubt. It just speeds up your training, ang going to any 99 it does add up a lot.

So can anyone confirm the auto smashing for gargoyles while ranging? Do I step out of my safe spot or just smash them where I stand and get the next one? I like the new updates, although aquanites....yeah never done a task and never will :D. Overall, love the skill, wouldn't train melee any other way.

I actually timed making pots yesterday at astle wars, Did 9 diferent pots, alltogether 489 pots. And i did it in 12 minutes. So, with some messing ups and stuff i think 2800 per hour would be a safe estimate with only 1 potion and stackable seconds

Pick up a fun hobbie, do sports that you might enjoy, outdoors for example. You'll meet new people like that aswell. as for your RS account, just leave it be, don't drop anything or stuff. I took a lengthy stop from playing myself, for 3 years, exactly the same reason, the game wasn't as it used to be. Now, in addition to my uny and work, it's just a good past time to unwind from a stressful day. :) Good luck

okay, so i'll need around 300k of charms which is like 7,5 mil + the second ingredients anyone have any suggestions for which altar to use? I am lvl 1 constructioning so house teleport really isn't an option i guess. At the moment i got my summoning to lvl 10. Any suggestions to which lvl is should get it before the weekend?

My favourites to cannon: Bloodvelds are cannonable after doing a certain quest (refer to AoW Axe Man Jack's guide on slaying) Black demons, awesome cannoning +range xp, last time i got 37k in one hour and 7 minutes in traverly Black dragons, great xp to cannon + range in traverly. Dust Devils - good to either cannon + melee or cannon + range. Good xp Fire giants, in brimhaven good to cannon + melee or in wildy dungeon good to range and cannon. Very decent xp either way. Hellhounds - great xp to melee + cannon in traverly, could probably range + cannon as well, but personally, i prefer melee + cannon Kalphites great cannon xp for kalphite warrioris + melee (refer to AoW Axe Man Jack's guide on slaying) These are all the ones that i always cannon (except the bloodvelds, not much of a quester)

Thanks alot! Yeah. I will go and do summoning. Not going to bother with penguins and so on. I just don't care. And I will not going to level construction, farming or hunting or anything except summoning atleast until i get through my first charms. I don't really care for the xp i'm losing, i rather just want to hit 68 as efficiently as possible. I'll get the other charms for up to 88 by slaying my way to 93+ anyhow. Any other suggestions on which lvl should i start out with my summoning to atleast get some OK xp ratio. And which obeliks should I use?

Hey everyone! Like most of p2p people I want to get the most of the double xp weekend - even though in the beggining I wasn't planning on, but I just can not let it pass by. :D I want to do it with my summoning, I wanna level it until 68 atleast. However, there's a couple of restrictions to me, that probably most p2p-ers don't have. So: I have farming, construction, hunting at lvl 1, and ofcourse summoning. So no house teleports, kyatts and all that other fancy stuff that you guys use. :D Starting point: 1703 gold charms 1489 crimson charm 770 green charms 155 blue charms My main question is, that i've read guide on tip.it and also in the AOW but it's real hard to make up a plan as I dont know anything about the skill. :D I have the charms needed easily to lvl it to 68. But I would like to get some tips from you guys, which altar should I use and is there a certain lvl I should get to before the weekend(I WILL do the quest ofcourse :P), to help maximize the speed for lvling and efficiency. The main things is which pouches should I make, the seconds should be easy to obtain, either by gathering or buying them off the G.E. money really isn't a big issue, but i just want to get as fast xp as possible with reasonable pricing. If any of you have any ideas please be kind enough and post here, so I can start making a plan, calculating the money and gathering everything. Thanks a lot :)

Really? ok cool, just getting to Shilo fast is a pain for me XP haha but ok i'm going to switch to him when i get my next slayer level :D Use cannon where you can - it'll speed it up a whole lot. Even though it might seem more expensive, when you do the lvl 3 clues you'll easily break more than even. I cannoned black dragons, black demons, hellhounds, kalphites, of course dagganoths. Did gargoyles with dharok praying, mage prayed spectres, spiritual mages - Always super potted and did that from 81 to 85 slayer. I didn't get a single rare drop, only did most of the clues, bougth all my food, and I am still making money. Point being - if you want to be efficient. Utilize the best equipment and the best slayer master. It won't be that expensive, you just won't be stacking up millions in the short run. But you will be leveling a lot faster, thus - getting to bigger money faster. :) I am still continuing training the way I have until now, because it is a good way to do it and i will do it until atleast 93 slayer.
