So ya, decided to spend 100k on wild pies. Headed off to spiritual mages, hoping for a few d boots to make some quick cash. I seriously cant wait for regular 83 slayer XD, these guys look like decent money. Pair #1 14m attack xp :D Pair #2 (on the 14m att xp kill to :P) OH and for that DK trip, the clue wasn't half bad :roll: So that brings the total to around 500k, so I did make a profit

Not to mention there are other ways to make money there. It would be odd for there to only be one way to make money in a town that has 50+ computers and Internet in use. But then again, the spots would possibly be filled with other workers getting paid to sit at a computer and play a game for 12 hours :roll: . I would assume its better than working in the field for a day.

This thread is pointless, but there have been 3 people posting about how 'ignorant and clueless' Americans are. I don't agree with anything the author has said, and the thread should be locked. You concentrate on my faults, but why don't you report the thread? Once again, another person who simply concentrates on stereotypes thinking majority of Americans think so little of the rest of the world :roll:

If you get disconnected frequently, there are many aspects of the game you cannot enjoy. Like monster hunting, some team minigames, etc. Of course, you could still try to do them, but they'll be either risky or just annoying for others due to your disconnections. Lending items it will be just one of these aspects... 200+ dk drops on dial up :roll: I know the risks of monster hunting on dial up, but what if someone d/c's on a drop? they technically wouldn't get the split which is stupid. Then again, the entire trade update is stupid.

This is like putting a Band-Aid on an amputated leg. 30k limit? What a joke, even with my max quest points. New minigame that *could* be fun, and *could* replicated the wild of old? Not getting my hopes up. The monster hunting and the lend systems could be of use, but I am just thinking about the idea of when someone logs out the item being returned. I get frequent disconnections, and so do other people, what about it then? Oh well, at least my friends who monster hunt will still be in business. I'm glad for them :)

I usally think of a way around it or with it. If i was a pker instead of rioting/crying/whining/committing suicide i would be doing something with the other pvp aspects of runescape, or trying out other elements of the game. My thinking is mainly overruled with logic unlike most people though. YOUR RIGHT I should think logically! I should go DK! ....OH darn, as of Jan 1 I can't due to splits impossible to be shared. I should go KQ! .....Darn, can't do that either. I should go to God Wars, surely something that new cant be ruined! ....Oh wait....it is as well :roll: I got it, lets go sit at a dock/tree for a couple hours!!!! Sounds fun, yep. If i wanted to sit at a dock and fish, I would go in my back yard. And if i wanted to cut trees, i would go to Canada and become a lumberjack. There is a line between stopping people from getting lured (what I am for) and stopping free trading overall (what I am against). There must be an alternate way of handling this, without ruining player killing, or monster hunting (basically, my only two incomes as of late).

While you are entitled to your opinion, and while I'm certainly not saying your not, I am entitled to mine. Improving the game is completely dependent on what you do. The removal of the game does not just effect runecrafters, dragon killers, and clue scrollers. It effects Cookers (who buys most of the sharks, and lobsters [f2p] to use? PKers), woodcutters (who spends all that time alching for 82/85/94/99 mage? PKers, Pures, and people who want certain levels. But this does effect PKers), Fletchers (see woodcutters), fishing (see cookers), Smithing (f2p wars can go over 6 hours of combat, people loosing over 50 runes sets in the time, where does that rune come from? the smithers), Mining (see smithers), Herblorist (Prayer potions, super sets, brews? yeah, expect these to drop), Slayers (people loosing whips and dark bows to pking created a constant demand along with the players getting their firsts. This will make these weapons drop further), Farmers (see herblorist), and finally rune crafters (yes, pures and pkers bought plenty of runes to get 99 magic so they could teleblock YOU) I completely agree, that pker communities are not the greatest. But completely demolishing them? That is uncalled for. What you dont realise is with these updates, pkers lost one of the only things that gave you a complete advantage in fights, Teleblock. They just completely KILLED Mage bank, Varrock drags, Middle drags, and East drags. I have pk'ed all of these locations for over a year, and I can tell you that the only way someone will get a kill now, is to special their target and get lucky. And FYI to this general community, out of my 10 whip kills and 30+ ahrims kills, i have yet to down someone doing a clue, or killing green dragons (not skulled, if they skull that makes them fair game) Now on the forced wilderness use, there are very few things that require wilderness use, one being a quest, some being clues, and using the abbys. This forced entrance should not have all reward and no risk. Clues require you to solve puzzles in dangerous areas, now, the wilderness is not nearly as dangerous. Runecrafting via the abbys is some fast experience with amazing money? People wanted it out of the wilderness, but they needed some sort of risk, now it is gone. Obviously, I realize there is good hidden in this update. But killing player killing is not the answer. Jagex has disabled nearly every PvP and replaced it with an awkward new style, with only a small percentage of the benefits. Player killing was never dead, it just took some effort on peoples parts to try and find fair fights, just like finding an empty DK lair, or KQ world. :roll: Yes I'm Pro-PKing, and I would renounce being NH in a heartbeat to get PK'ing back. It's just like if they removed DK's, or Barrows, people would have mixed opinions, and I obviously have a different one than Queltar. Hope you can get past it and notice that its not a good thing that PK'ing is gone, and was never dead.
