    GE Changes

    Yet they do it anyway...
  2. I got to rune defender on about 1200 tokens, all gathered through the shot-put using Energy Potions.
  3. Bones to Peach tabs are really useful and save restocking too.
  4. Here's a blast from the past you might like to see: Dragon Skirt straight after the System Update [hide=][/hide] First day of Monkey Madness (Reading a book allowed you to walk out of the zoo as a Monkey) [hide=][/hide] Cabbage Bombing Falador with The Order of Cabbage [hide=][/hide] The First ever Tip.it Kalphite Queen Event (about 70 people showed up, quite a few deaths too) [hide=][/hide] Killing her, I got the kill about 3 times =\ [hide=][/hide]
  5. Here's two I participated in (I found the first one) Varrock South-East Mine [hide=][/hide] Varrock East Bank (Behind it, near Rune Essense teleport) [hide=][/hide]
  6. Wrong. Today we mined a fallen Meteor that was behind the Varrock east bank.
  7. At the end of the day, these people are just greedy. I'm not talking about your casual merchant, but more the people who seek to unnaturally control prices to suit their own pockets. Price Manipulation at it's worst.
  8. Two questions. 1) What would the point of that be, and 2) How would Jagex ensure that the only people on those servers are over 18? Internet anonymity is a bother. The point being that allot of people don't want to play with immature kids who think they have top priority on everything (Take Slayer tasks for example) They are annoying and a constant nuisance, whilst causing nothing but distress to those around them. The attitudes of the younger age groups are atrocious and quite frankly getting away from that would ensure I can play the game in a more suitable environment. Making sure people are of correct age would be a problem, but with the current amount of people signed up to Runescape, I doubt an extra 100,000 are going to sign up/make a new character just to use a mature world. Obviously allot of people could lie about their age, but for the general population I would like to think that they were at least truthful when signing up. I don't think it's a bad idea, it could work quite well and even attract more over 18's who were previously put off by the lameness of the younger generations actions.
  9. How about some mature worlds? Possibly 18+ or even higher? I know for one I would always be logged into it.
  10. I am in definite agreement with the part about Slayer. After being away from Runescape for so long (Slayer only just came out when I quit) it's one of the skills I am enjoying, but am constantly faced with idiots who think they are more important, and that whatever monster is around is theirs. It's very annoying, and you are right, often leads to argument. How about some age required servers? It would be nice to get away from the annoying kids of Runescape.
  11. If you eat at the right time, you can skip the delay altogether anyway.
  12. I can't even remember which one it was, it was one about how to do a hood. What would you recommend for a car? I probably could retry it with a better method. I'd go with Poly or Box modeling. I've modeled some things using surface covered splines too, but they generally have to be cleaned up due to the mesh being "holey". I don't know if it's just the way your car body is smoothed, but it looks weird (the lines, not the body shape) edit: Dunno if I ever posted this up on the old tip.it, but this was made around 2006. Ignore the windows, the refraction was badly set and I never got around to re-rendering it until I did the "joke" "suped" up version. http://www.johnalder.com/img/3d/minicooper.jpg Thought it might inspire you, or know what you can do. Both 3ds Max and Vray.
  13. You should acknowledge the fact that you're using someone elses work as the center of your design. Without the other persons effort, your piece would be empty, a major factor I'd say. At least give the owner credit, even if it is free to use.
  14. Go badmouth peoples brilliant artwork somewhere else. That is no where near a bloody collage. The sprites, and stocks, and renders, and anything else, are created by people to share, and help in the GFX community, for free. And FYI I only see 2 maybe 3 stocks/renders in there. The rest, is pure skill. That is, is you don't think the others are. I bet you cannot do any of that. So from you, I want to see something that isn't a horrible filtered mess, with uses no free-to-use-and-share resources. By the way thru, really good stuff. All of them have brilliant flow, and colour. My favourite i number three. Good use of everything in there. To be honest thru, you have a very good gift, and should pursue it. These are like teh OMG good. You keep on getting better every time I see your work. Thanks for the entertaining read, you clearly know nothing.
  15. Macromedia was bought up by Adobe a few years back, so now it's Adobe Flash :P
  16. How about making something of your own for once? From seeing your method of creating this in your "tutorial" thread, you're pretty much just smudging existing photos and applying someone elses sprite/stock/whatever into it. Unless of course you want to keep on making collages forever, then continue.
  17. Err...no? Unless i'm gravely mistaken, and the whole graphic community who make sprite sigs is too, i'm PRETTY SURE you don't make them. Of course, i'll have to have someone *confirm* it. Then don't say "new sprite" if you didn't make it. All you did was blend an existing image into a background you made. Not much more to say really.
  18. Anonymous would be ashamed. :shame:
  19. Get rid of the blurred rectangles for a start, then go easy on sharpening the Anime - It looks bad at current.
  20. That's pretty terrible looking. The colour is bad, the background just looks a mess, as does whatever you've done to the Runescape logo. I would start over, and don't add text if you can't even make it out (the writing in the bottom left)
  21. Did you even make the sprite? Looks like Akuma from Street Fighter almost.
  22. The head should be a bit smaller in regards to the body. Other than that, it's not bad for a cut job. Ratings are so 1999.
  23. Don't you mean "my first ever 2d paint sig"? Every image is made of pixels, and even for the supposed "pixel style" people have tried to do around here for years, it still doesn't qualify.
  24. Quads? That's generally not a good idea, can I see the tutorial you're following?
