That's a rune berserker shield. it's from the Fist of Guthix minigame. EDIT: On second thought, it could also be an obsidian shield I guess. was it a cyan, runite loking color? and all blocky looking? If so, that's the berserker shield.

Then you can't wear sara bracers and most people would have to walk(I can run because use the spa) while saradomin monsters attack them. This could be resolved by wearing a stole, but he needs the pendant, so that is out.

The Zamorak book is the most useful, but I filled all three books befor ethe GE, no idea how lon it will take to get pages now.

Why would you only buy ss if you had 99 str considering SS is a strength TRAINING weapon... #-o I'm guessing that you misread his post he said "unless you *want* 99 strength." Back on topic, get a Sara Sword, I may be a bit biased by my irrationally unconditional love for them(I use it to train attack and defense too), but they are awesome in every way. No guthans is NOT overrated, even with a bunyip(and up to at least 89 defense) you still need guthans on a few tasks. Also, I preferr to use attack familiars against dust devils, fire giants, and what not, so guthans is needed then.

Well I don't go on duo trips, but on 4 man teams. Kilisa will not be on you for very long, he spends most of his time floating around uselessly, so the melee bonuses on a DFS wouldn't help you much. that leaves the 10 magic defense...I'll take 8 ranged attack, 5 prayer, and the ability to wear karils top over blessed dhide over 10 magic defense. I'll bet that there is a bigger difference than 10 points between dhide and karils...so that's all negatives for me. In duo or when soloing, I can see how a DFS would be better. Definately when soloing, I've personally experienced that fat bird's pecks near the ends of trips...and it's not fun to get hit by.

No they don't have a controlled option, and like green said, a Z spear would be best for you if you want to train controlled on fiends.

Well that's just completely wrong, yes you should underestimate Kilisa as he is pathetically weak compared to the other two(Geerin might get a hit or two in if someone misses their assignment). That is a generally good setup, except that I use karils top for the extra magic defence. barrows gloves protect over armadyl helms, so I take sara bracers instead(which have higher magic defense and only 1 less range bonus), and they also nullify the damage you would take when you enter. Karils hood is complete rubbish. An archer helm is actually better than it, if you can't afford an Arma helm, I suggest that you use Veracs and a pendant. You obviously don't need range defense at all(if you're not praying you will be dead), and the most damage comes from Kree's blue magic tornadoes(Wingman gets some hits in too).

Sell the Robin and get an Arma helm. It's better in every way, if I remember correctly. Also, Arma really isn't as dangerous as some of the others(you really won't die unless you're not paying attention/lag) but I still wouldn't risk taking in ranger boots. I just use snakeskin.

it's not realy the actual cost it's the time that it takes to buy pouches. I've had offers sitting at max proce for days before -.- Same situation as with turtles. You could just make them? That would be a waste of blue charms past level 83, and you most likely won't be able to make enough using just the charms you have.

Slayer's your best bet. I started at around 70 combat, but I also started with 20ish slayer somehow, still not sure how that happened :-k

I'm betting that it's similar to Varrock armour with smelting and smithing, so maybe 1-2 times per 28 ess. I'm not sure how that would work with multiple rune crafting, though :-k

You could try killing the KQ(with veracs) or KBD in teams, and I've heard of people mole hunting, but I don't have any experience there.

I have yet to see anyone using battle robes, but gauntlets and rune zerker shields are popping up all over the place. I would go with one of those. Just use the one with the highest gp/token ratio.

I'm gonna guess it was a drop. It was, and I was hoping to somehow avoid having to use the rock hammer each time, which does not work for anyone that cares.

You don't need guthans at all at Sara. personally I use veracs/karils for the prayer and I've yet to leave a trip early with people using guthans. Maybe you could go kill aviansies or try killing the KQ. I personally despise aviansie killing(well range training in general) but you may have a different opinion.

I wouldn't say "significantly" lower, but yes it has 10 less defence bonus in the melee stats... If you're lazy like me, using the skirt will save you the trouble of switching an armour piece when you need to heal with guthans.

and that is where you put off a lot of people from helping you... Kill chickens, amazing xp and you'll get feathers to boot :thumbsup:

You won't be making any huge gains quickly with slayer now, but you could try your luck at Sara, and you have pretty good skills for DKing(hybriding, of course).

Quick, yes. Painless, no. Stay off of that island and keep your soul pure, just my opinion. Back on topic, I have very limited experience with granite mauls(only ever used them on gargoyles) but they seem to be pretty good weapons. I'm not sure about the requirements, though.

Are you trying to make a pure(for pvp) or a skiller(for whatever the people people use them for)? If you want to actual fight other players at some point in the future, those HP levels would help a lot. EDIT: Just noticed the edit some moderator snuck in, is "hell" a bad word now? That was just completely unnecessary...you should really be a bit more helpful, what with this being the Help & Advice forum. Back on topic, I know for a fact that untanned hides almost always sell instantly, I'd assume that it would be the same for leather.
