At your levels, prayer is a better choice by far, and if you decide to take a b.o.b. make sure to bring extras because the a hole spectres in the new dungeon will kill them :x

Add more exp per shot too, it trumps slayer dart in every which way, higher max, more exp and cheaper, only a pure idiot would choose slayer dart over wave if they have the level to do wave. Or someone who doesn't want to bother selling and rebuying runes as opposed to just using the free ones that you get. Besides, the slayer staff looks better, and it has a higher magic bonus, and it shoots faster. Just generally better in every way, yup.

I'm pretty sure that all three barrows skirts do the same with achievement capes.

That's pointless... you have 11 to 12 brews which could be asily replaced by prayer potions... "Maging" is when the person uses magic(dart<=fire wave

Do you happen to know the time that the GE prices update? I've noticed that the actual GE updates a while before the database, which really makes checking it a hassle...Also, I've heard that the prices of different categories update at different times, is that true?

[/hide] If you'll using 2 brews for every restore you'll doing something wrong. Or you got that mixed up. I generally bring 10 brew and rest restore, and a terrorbird full of restores as well... I mean my defense is higher but still no need for 2-1 brew/restore ratio thats a ton. Also if you have guthans thats a plus. If you'll using arena spells only do it if you've got void mace. Otherwise just stick with firewave. EDIT: I'd also wear either guthans/torag/dharoks top over veracs top because the added range defense bonus. You'll want it trust me. You should be using 3 brew doses for every restore dose. Take prayer potions for restoring prayer, and only enough restores to cover brews, maybe one or two extra for accidents. If you have the level for it, it is best to switch to a bunyip/titan/pony when your b.o.b. is spent.

Agreed. Personally I use monks that I catch, but I sell the raw ones and buy them cooked. makes a nice little profit and both transactions go through instantly :thumbsup:

Didn't that quest give a ridiculously huge amount of strength/attack experience or somat? Don't see why you wouldn't take at most ten more minutes out of your life to get that...

I would advise you to not waste your life accumulating that much rubbish. Maybe wait a week or two picking up things that you normally wouldn't and what not to get some. Then just sell it at 30m or so and enjoy the time that it will take to sort through your PMs.

Well when you're just starting isn't it more fun to just experiment with different things? efficiency really doesn't matter then... You could try working with clay...or leather I think.

Do both quests, regardless. I use Duradel, but if you're having to decide whether or not you're going to do two generaly essential quests, then I don't see you finishing the karamja diaries an time soon, so it might be a bit annoying to get new tasks. takes a bit of time to use the carpets too...but your choice. Duradel's better :thumbsup:

I just treat them like any other melee task, just whack em until they're dead and take a fighting familiar if you want(I do, they're just fun to use). personally I hate cannons and never use them, but of course, that would speed up the task a bit.

Range? Mage? I don't know if he has them leveled up but I remember they can do damage. You're right. He didn't say anything about range though, and the only boss that you can kill efficiently with magic is rex, and the best (depends on a lot of things) way to do that is with guthans, which I'm pretty sure require 70 attack or strength, or both.

Torsos are rubbish. don't waste your life unless you enjoy the game. Also, use a black mask. That's all that needs to be said about that. Using rubbish tasks to get points faster is just throwing away time that you could be spending getting more slayer experience. I suggest guthans plate(it's the cheapest and all three have the same stats, and if you get guthans in the future, you'll need it), guthans skirt(again, if you use guthans, you're only sacrificing 5 defense points to save yourself some hassle). If you're bent on not using any barrows armour, then a granite plate is your best option in all honesty, people may look down on it, but it's actually very good, and a d skirt like someone else said.

Yes, dragonhide is better. You shouldn't be getting hit by magic at all, and if you are, the difference in their defenses won't matter much.

I've seen this argument a lot, and the time spent fiddling around with rubbish on the floor, picking upo and dropping items to make space is not worth it. Titans heal 8 between the HP levels of 85 and 92. I'm betting that they heal 8 regardless, I never payed attention to the defense boost because it's less than brews boost, probably around the same as a normal defense potion. Also, they actually help noticably killing minions which I didn't expect, but it's a nice little benefit.

For some reason that dancing pokeman just annoys the hell out of me... Back on topic, yes you will be limited in ALL combat activities by not being able to do any damage.

People say that veracs is better than magic at barrows at the higher levels, but I've seen people with highe rlevels than me hacking away slowly while I tore through the brothers with darts, but whatever...at your levels you don't have any practical uses for veracs, except maybe KQ with a large team.

Well I do fine with my stats which are around yours(expect prayer get that to at least 70 regardless) but I would suggest getting range up to 90 to get on the better teams, summoning levels is important at arma too. Irritates the hell out of me when teammates have to leave MUCH earlier because they couldn't load up...but that's just a personal thing. Your attack/strength are completely irrelevant there, by the way, and for gear...I take the bold ones arma helm>verac helm>(neitz I guess) fury>glory>(possibly a pendant for kc) arma plate>karils top>(blessed dhide if you need to block something) arma skirt>karils skirt>dhide ranger boots>snakeskin accumulator>anything rune xbow>anything unholy book>dfs(people says that a DFS is better, but range def is worthless, it only has 5 magic defense, and -5 range I think. The only gain using this would be slightly less damage from kilisa, and he barely ever hits anyways. Books on the other hand give a prayer and range bonus, and block zamorak monsters) It's generally accepted that you should use a mix of ruby and diamond bolts, and the inventory depends on summoning so...yeah...get prayer up.
