  1. Are you training range or melee stats?
  2. In the grand exchange, no, but your offer will most likely sit for several months before being filled. Armadyl is superior in every way compared to 3rd Age, and it has the added bonus of 3 extra prayer points from the altar and keeping the birds off you during KC. You also might want to get summoning up to 79 for the titans, they extend a trip quite nicely after your turtles are drained.
  3. It is four hours, but I'm sure that it works similarly to all the other time based restrictions that Jagex made such as TOG, MtK, farming updates...usually things get rounded off.
  4. Wouldn't it be more likely for people in the "Green" zone with no offenses be more likely to have a valid appeal? That doesn't seem like a very efficient system...
  5. To Lower levels maybe, but a low level familiar should not be powerful. On higher levels however, there are. Example: The Hydra. This little guy can hit 18's with range or melee attacks (non-scroll), hits about the speed of a 2h, and gives 100% range xp. I use them at avians alot and they do a considerable ammout of damage, sometimes killing an avian before I do. The one downside is that is requires level 80 summon. Which is repectiable considering it would be overpowered if something like this could be used at say, level 40. So really familiar wise, there is something useful for everyone, you just might have to train to a higher level to find it. Hydras max at 15, but I agree with you on their awesomeness. I got from 82 to 85 range off almost purely hydras  I seriously doubt that they will ever fix familiar combat considering how long it's been, but I'm sure that they must have had some reason for making it so inefficient...
  6. From the way that that message was worded it implies that you won't be able to go back for your reward, I doubt that they would cut people off without warning like that, though.
  7. its not your mouse, its just glitches with the new graphics. it has nothing to do with youre mouse. ive used several different mice on different computers playing this game and its always the same, and this didnt used to happen before the graphics update. Yes it actually IS my mouse seeing as the clicking error happens outside of Runescape, and inside long before the HD updates...It's most likely his as well seeing as he is describing almost the excat same thing, and I'll just assume that you have some issues with finger dexterity if what you say about using different machines is true, the only clicking issues caused by Jagex that I've personally seen was from lag(which was actually caused by my weak computer).
  8. At your levels(if your name is Jade Slayer6, typo in your RSN mate), soldiers shouldn't be too hard, and I've seen people ranging them occasionally. You probably won't use any food at all on the little guys.
  9. Well that's unfortunate... Were unappealable mutes added with that last update?
  10. wioneo replied to Pitac83's topic in Help and Advice
I remember hearing at some point that Druid robes have the same magic bonus as combat robes and are cheaper(token wise), you could check that and try them if you don't mind sacrificing the rune saving ability.
  11. Well your 1 word reply to my comment is very helpful and all, but maybe a correction on the value limit would be a bit more useful.
  12. I haven't noticed a difference in the mini game at all...I'm just guessing that you had a few streaks of bad luck. Also, sometimes its better to just wait for a second or two after a blue stream moves, because it's pretty common for another one to replace it.
  13. I'll just asume that abysall familiars can hold normal ess too. Nothing other than abyssal familiars can carry either type of essence, and untradeable items are out too, I think that anything valued more than 50k on the GE is blocked as well.
  14. I just logged on today to try out the new quest and as i attempted to cry out in agony over the loss of my cape, I see some things that seem to indicate that I'm muted. So I went over to the appeal offense window, but I do not have any black marks, and the only thing to possibly support my mute(1 day) is this evidence of breaking rule 1... Also, it was dated today, but that conversations was almost a week ago...and also I'm not sure how I used any offensive language...it also has "Deferred" in the appeal coloumn, so I'm not sure if I can do anything. Deferred means...what...blocked? or something similar I suppose that I should look that up. Several lines of that have been cut out, and I'm not sure how exactly Jagex chooses which lines to omit, it seems random in this case... It also says that "You are muted for 1 more day by a moderator," so does that mean that a player mod muted me? I thought that p mod mutes happen immediately, or at least that would seem to be more efficient. So...does anyone know a way for me to fix this? The last time that I was muted it was for saying "That was a stupid question" under rule 1, but that appeal was accepted before I could even log back in, and I'm betting that the same would happen here if I had the ability to appeal...
  15. I'm pretty sure that the small gold rewards from the Axe hut chest have been there for ages, and this quest is not looking to appealing at the moment...oh well...time to fight for the cape!
  16. From just glancing at your stats it looks like you're not far off from being able to finish the Varrock diary, and the Cook's Guild range would definately be faster because there is never a guarantee against buring monks, but the Cook's range has a lower burn rate, and it seems to be a tiny bit closer.
  17. I have not tried killing waterfiends lower than even 85ish melee skills, but I've heard that people at lower levels can kill them, it will be slower though. It would probably still be faster than greater demons, but you might lose a little money. I would agree that training your melee stats up a bit via slayer and collecting charms along the way would be your best bet.
  18. Usually NPCs get a seperate option that sets them off into talking about a specific quest, but I'm sure there are some exceptions. It would be easier to help if we knew which quests you were having conflict with.
  19. Was the last run before that one recent? You could have possibly killed just killed verac, but that seems unlikely. Maybe he spawned in the corridor just before the chest room and you didn't notice?
  20. You should probably do Wolf Whistle and Druidic ritual to unlock Summoning and Herblore, respectively. Also, you might want to do Priest in Peril to open up Morytania. The Lost city unlocks dragon daggers and swords which are both useful weapons, and the Gnome line of quests have several nice rewards along the way including dragon scimitars. Really, the best way to choose what quests that you want to do is to look at the things that you want, but can't have/use without doing a few.
  21. Oi so much anger in kids these days...as I said, that was MY setup, the 10k coins, ecto, staff, and usually dds, I take with me everywhere unless extra spaces are needed and I honestly don't do that much other than slayer anymore so it's easier to not have to switch things arounf much, and I do make extensive use of the fairy rings. The ectofial teleports you near the haunted woods ring which is admittedly farther than the Edge ring, but there is a farming patch along the way. Not sure why you would be taking food along on tasks if you're using guthans... ...and for the Slayer hat and fire shield, that is what I personally call them, I just assumed that most people would be able to make the stretch to connct those together... and I absolutely refuse to give up the convenience of glory teleports... and yes a fire cape has better stats, but I preferr the quest cape for looks, and also it was my first *good* cape, so the lava thing gets to warm up my bank. I honestly thought the TIF forums consisted of more light hearted people...but after seeing such cold responses from two seperate people, I suppose I was wrong. So here, I present you with another outfit alternative, much less obviously superior, but maybe it will help you guys calm down a bit. -Slayer helmet -Amulet of fury -Guthans platebody -Guthan chainskirt (You lose a little defensive bonus compared to Torags, but it is more convenient for when you need to heal) -Ring of wealth (Either of the melee rings could give you a small boost as well) -Dragon boots -Fire Cape -Abyssal Whip or Saradomin Sword (Depending on which skill you are focusing on) -Rune Defender or Nothing (personally I've noticed that tasks are done more quickly with a defender as opposed to a Dragonfire Shield, but you may want to switch for tasks such as Gargoyles) -Barrows gloves (Accept no substitute) Then in your inventory... -DDS, SGS, D Mace, DBA or whatever special attack weapon you favour as opposed to the useless whip special or the inaccurate SS one. -Charm placeholders (unless the task doesn't drop them) -Enchanted Gem, Guthans Helmet, Guthans Warspear, Karamja Gloves 3 (For moving on to your next task quickly) -A summoning potion with at least 1 dose and either 2 Bunyips or 2 of some attack familiar If you are using guthans and bunyips, then you should not have to worry about taking along food, and should have plenty of open inventory spaces for drops and such. Unless you decide to leave charms on the ground, you will eventually get a few of each color on most occasions, and as they are stackable the time at which you sacrifice the inventory space is irrelevant. As I'm sure that you know, you would only take the attacking familiars on a multi combat task that you felt would be suitable. Bunyips are superior in all situations that I can think off at the moment other than for a Black Demon task, but attack familiars are more fun to use. It seems that some other users may not have picked up on the fact that you should use attack familiars OR bunyips, as it is not possible to do both. If their confusion was caused by the summoning potion only being included for one of the choices in my original post, that is my fault for neglecting to mention that you also need a potion for multiple bunyips before 76 summoning. Maybe I'm alone in this, but personally I like to know how far into a task I've gone, and my memory is not reliable enough to support that. Maybe yours is, transcript, but mine sadly is not, and a reminder of how many monster I have left to kill is always nice. I usually know when I am killing the last monster for the task before I attack it thanks to the convenience of the gem, as I'm sure most people do. I'll just assume that that was intended more as a personal attack against me than an actual suggestion that an enchanted gem should be left behind. I guess that I'll go to sleep tonight just a little bit sadder about the state our community...too bad that I checked back after it had been two people instead of one, oh well. In any case, good luck, Lizzy
  22. My outfit(this outfit is vastly superior to all others as you will learn) -Slayer hat -Glory(Stay true to the classics, mate and teleportless necklaces are for panzies) -Guthans plate -Guthan skirt -Wealth(Fremminick rings are for panzies) -Dragon boots -Quest cape(melted cheese capes are for panzies) -Whip/SS -Defender/Nothing(The best defense is a good offense, and fire shields are for panzies) -Barrows gloves Then in your inventory... -Coins, Ecto, Lunar stick, Sgs(for specs only, dds is good too) -Charm placeholders(unless the task doesn't drop them) -Gem, Guthan hat, Guthan spear, K3 Gloves(not using Duradel is for panzies) -2 Bunyips, or a summoning potion and 2 of some attack familiar Stick to that setup(for basic melee tasks such as Dusties, Nechs, Fire giants, etc) and everyone will kneel before your greatness, except me of course. Git friend messed up my knee a bit so kneeling is out, but I'll still give a slight head nod of acknowledgement.
  23. It's your mouse. is it a "Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0?" If so, f*** you Microsoft, I've been having the same problem, but the sexy leather coating on the mouse has kept me from buying a new one :wall:
  24. Now you can simply the change the number of your world by typing it in the address bar. Just start loading up a less crowded world then type in the desired one.
  25. Agreed, except for the bit abou ranging them. I've never personally tried it, but with the time it takes to get the distances and what not(if safespotting) and the reduced rate at which you do damage, it seems a LOT slower.
