  1. So can we expect another convert to the SGS coalition? About the lower normal hits, you were obviously unhappy with the sword, so the bad hits stood out more to you than the good. Whats the word for that...anecdotal? Somat like that I think....
  2. In a word... Lol. Also, my ability to not log on is wtfpwning this competition.
  3. Personally I suggest that you use that money that you will earn to help boost up a few of your skills, as other have said, you really won't see much use out of a godsword(and you need 75 Attack to even weild one, by the way), but if you want to just completely ignore good advice, then you should stay at green dragons(or try blues if you want, much less boring in my opinion), that way you can get your melee stats a bit higher.
  4. If you're sticking to slayer, I would advise you to get bandos armour. You really shouldn't need that defensive boost at all anymore(on tasks that is)with all of the ways t heal that have been added, and you will be finishing tasks faster with a defender. Also, if it matters, I have personally never owned a DFS for lack of necessity, the only really "good" use for one in my opinion would be at DKs or Sara, but maybe tha's just me.
  5. I seriously doubt that they would make a requirement over 80, but that's just my opinion. A hard quest for a change actually sounds nice, that is except for all of us who are too lazy to get any 99s and will be stuck with rubbish capes for a bit loger than usually....damn molten cheese cape...
  6. The timer starts once you actually buy the item, not when you collect it.

I find you really don't need the scrolls, but you can take them if you aren't comfortable sitting at 50hp waiting for rapid heal+yip to pull you back over 90. If you bring them though, only bring like 10, you honestly don't need more, that way you can drop em for cooked shark drops and not care about the cost.Throw the necklace in the deposit box when you get there so it doesn't really take up an inv spot. How have you not realized that you could save a TON of prayer potion by using the food drops you get and not constantly praying against ranged? Good point forgot to say that. Leaving off range pray while you use up your raw food that you can't hold(juggle it) makes trips a good bit longer.
  8. Torag and Dharoks platebodies/legs have the exact same stats, and none of the barrows *armour* gives a strength or melee accuracy boost.
  9. Well you should definately take a teleport if your worried about a task, but I really can't think of any that would actually kill you if you weren't even just slighty paying attention.... Maybe mith drags if one spawned too close...
  10. I'm pretty sure that you don't have to buy the ability to use them. I'm not planning to, and if you don't, I'll be retiring my mith bolt stack soon...
  11. In a word... Yes You should get at least 52, or preferably 68 for a Bunyip to use after your turtle(67) is empty.
  12. If you're doing slayer, dharoks plate/legs(I know the plates have the same bonuses and I'm betting the legs do, too) would probably be better, because I'm betting that Dharoks is cheaper because most people think that Torags is better, and a slayer hat/mask would be using your helmet space. Guthans plate is probably a bit cheaper, too, and it too has the same bonuses.

At 90 defense I used to use around 20 out of 50 buny scrolls per trip, and your defense is a bit lower. I don't know if the defense boost from piety blocks enough of the magic attacks too o make you take less damage than you do with ranegd prayer...but I suppose you have 6 levels on me too...and I usually drop the necklace in the deposit box before the trip, extra 5 or so seconds is worth saving a space.
  14. Exactly which dungeon were you considering? and what parts of Soma's guide did you not understand?
  15. wioneo replied to D Jay99's topic in Help and Advice
That is a great guide to use, and with a bunyip(take 2 ih you have at least 74 summoning or don't mind sacrificing a spot for a summoning potion). that's the guide that I based my setup off of, and of course you'll be using a slayer hat/mask as you are on task. If you have an SGS, you might want to take a few extra prayer potions, because your trip will last longer, and you can't keep your prayer up(your HP shouldn't be a problem) off special attacks alone. That is, unless you use prayer flashing.
  16. It's extremely easy to convert junk to normal coins with lending, you just need to have enough money to buy soemthing that idiots will pay to rent, and Bad, I don't buy shards from people, I buy pouches off the GE and then swap them. I think the forum price for shards now is 20ea or something like that. EDIT: Also, if you aren't willing to spend an extra 10 minutes a day or so(it rarely takes that long to lease out a sword on World 2) to completely eliminate the cost of shards(at least of crimsons and blues in most cases) then feel free to ignore my post.
  17. I'm guessing that you completely ignored my post...especially the bit where I said...
  18. Why would you want worth 10% more of what it's really worth...? Because paying 25ea for shards is foolish, and it is not hard at all to buy pouches specificaly to trade in. For example, after you make a swamp titan, you could... -swap it for 105 shards to be reused -swap it for 105 shards to be used in a trade while they are worth 2625gp, and then swapping for 105 shards for 2415gp or less(23 each), leaving you with 210gp profit. -transform it into 10 scrolls, then use those scrolls in a trade while they are worth 3050 gp, and then swapping for 105 shards for 2415gp or less(23 each), leaving you with 635gp profit. EDIT: Also, you get slightly more experience, but that adds up to a total of 10 charms saved between 88 and 85 summoning, so it really does not matter much...
  19. Hmm....did you right or left click the big obelisk? I think that you have to right click to renew points with them. You could also try going to find a small one if that doesn't work.
  20. personally I think that summoning is the best way to make junk, and most pouches are worth more as scrolls than the shards that you would get from swapping them(granite lobsters are on of the few exceptions). Just make sure to check the prices to see if the time that it takes to convert the pouches is worth it, some of the lower leveled ones end out being the same.
  21. have you started the quest yet? I remember it being blatantly obvious how to do everything in that quest...are you trying to infuse the wolf pouches and it's saying that your level is too low?
  22. wioneo replied to gremmy's topic in Help and Advice
Is it even reasonable to train with wolpertingers because of them having 2 seconds?
  23. Not true. It averages it out. If you sell min and someones buys max then then it will go through at the middle value giving the buyer some change and the seller extra. Equally others are talking rubbish, the ge prices update every day. It varies time wise but during evening (GMT) they update. Selling/buying limits only apply to major resources eg runes and ess where you can only buy so many per 4 hours or per day That is not true, and D Jay was correct about the way that it works. It basically ends up with whoever puts in the earliest offer getting screwed. Go buy a swamp lizard for medium price, and look at how much you actually pay for it. The GE does update every day, but as he said, the exact time varies. The 4 hour resale limit applies to EVERYTHING. I'll just have to assume that you misunderstood something concerning your shield... There is also a limit on how many of certain things that you can buy/4 hours. A few that I know of are... Armour/Weapons - 100/4 hrs Runes - 50k/4 hrs(I think) raw Materials - 10k/4 hrs(again not sure) The only one that I am completely certain of is the 100 limit for armours and weapons, including utility weapons.
  24. I pretty much agree, but even 80s in melee stats and range would be fine(I started with 77ish range), and most decent hybrids use a familiar of some sort these days so you could be a burden to your partner... Basic teams usually have 2 hybrids (killing Supreme and Prime in that order) and at least one mage.
  25. the only tips that i would suggest that you avoid are the broad sword and slayer rings, I have yet to need slayer rings with all of the other opotions readily available, and Duradel does not assign Kurasks or Turoths...well I suppose that the sword could be helpful before you get 100 cb(forgot to check your stats). Anoither thing, pure sets(super attack/strength) give a larger boost than combat potions, and the little bit of extra defense usually is not necessary. Proselyte is the armour that he was talking about, and cannons are evil. Don't use those. -Get an SGS -get 68 Summoning for bunyips -get 70 prayer for Piety
