    the problem with the audience is that they like to suggest low level things. I've gotten 950-998 all 9 times that I've done the events, so I think I must just have horrible luck(got 980 with 4 fails on range :wall: )
  2. Yes houses do, even in building mode. Which is lame because you can't drop the rubbish that they give you. Most boss areas(and usually their related dungeons) are clear of randoms.
  3. I don't know your slayer level, but if it's over 70, use d slayer gloves and arma for dragon tasks(d slayer gloves=void effect if I remember right), other than dragons void would probably be the best bet.
  4. Don't bother with a fighter torso, but other than that, just go with what everyone else said and you'll be set.
  5. No, summoners are lazy as is tradition. I would advise that you hold off until the granite prices have settled before mining a lot of them to decide whether or not it is still worth your time.
  6. No, stick with melee. A BGS is definately the best for soloing Graardor or Kril.
  7. This is definately true at elast with TOG, I've noticed that they give you about 2 hours of leway(not sure how to spell that). I think that the actually *day* for them resets at 8 PM EST which would be 1 A.M. in the UK. I know that this is true at least for mutes, so if you were muted at 3 PM for "24 Hours" it would only really last 5 hours, at elast form my limited experience. EDIT: Bork, Zaaf, and Arhein are very picky about times, though...

  9. As of now the profits are... So just multiply the percentage by the the number of workers that you have on a specific resource by 1/15 and add it all up then multiply by 525k to get the total value of everything that they collect/week if you keep your approval rating maxed everyday which I seriously doubt that many people do but whatever.
  10. I tried taking a whip once and failed miserably. Stick with a godsword. Also, I would stick with Bandos over Kril, it's just so much easier and less risk.
  11. Nah, waterfiends drop water orbs, not air orbs. Same thing. Why would anybody charge/buy air orbs when they could just buy Water orbs? Huge supply. Air staffs give the most xp if I remember right, and for people that make their own orbs to attach, air orbs are the easiest and eventually give the most xp. I think that the air charging spell gives the most xp as well. [/hide] If anybody cared about xp, they wouldn't be doing bstaffs anyways. Does anybody even buy air orbs? Water orbs seems like a much better choice. Does that "anybody" include me? I slightly remember going from 66 to whatever my level is now via staves and superglass.

  13. For everything you mentioned, the rune defender is best. Seriously. The attack bonuses are so worth it. not really with def u do hit more but u take more damage the only actual dif between obby and def is that obby gives def instead of att boost For routine killing, it doesn't really matter if you get hit more as long as you last a reasonably long time without having to bank. The attack bonus that the rune defender, on the other hand, is very useful because you'll kill things much faster. You're basically trading a few pieces of food for faster kills, and in the vast majority of situations that's worth it. That should end that little debate. Defenders are just superior in all applicable slayer situations. Seeing as the poster refuses to use a defender for some reason, the whole argument is irrelevant, though.
  14. Not sure at the reasoning behind the excessive question marks...do you mean the realm where the quest is based? If so, the answer is no. If you mean the room with those new warriors which is somewhere that I never bothered to find out, then I don't know.
  15. All of the quest bosses are just ridiculously easy after a combat level of like 95, and I don't really see how any of the non combat quests relate to your combat level...so unless you were to specify which quests each point was from... 114 is just 114, not especially impressive.

Well if you're going to solo Prime you will get Supreme and probably Rex on you any time that you go to pick up a drop...this could of course be solved by taking telegrab runes, but I don't suggest sacrificing inventory spots when you have limited experience. Have you gone with a team before? If not, I seriously advise against soloing. To answer your first question, you would most likely make more money and definately last a good deal longer soloing rex.

    If my understanding is correct(which there is a good chance that it is not) Veracs effect does NOT increase your max hit, it just makes you hit much more often and closer to your max more often, except when used against monsters with weak defense. Then it would have no effect...in theory.
  22. What is this "10% doesn't matter much" garbage that people are spewing on this topic? I'm not so good with timings and such but aren't the best melee training methods around 80k or so xp/hour? You've got....4,190,016 strength xp left to 99 judging by the hiscores, so that would be over 524 hours at 80k xp/hour(which sounds pretty fast but honestly I have no idea). Ten percent of that is over 52 hours... So if this 10% difference figure is correct, and you can sustain 80k/hr xp gain for long periods of time, then the question becomes "Is 7ish m worth 52 hours of your life?" On the defender vs. DFS subject. Considering slayer, the answer is a defender(I welcome you to present a valid example to contradict this). The ONLY melee example in which a DFS would be better than a defender(excluding dragons as they are a blatantly obvious exception) would be killing Supreme, but then a Godsword would be better, and that knocks out the shield option.

    Get guthans for sure. The only part of guthans armour that has better stats than any of guthans is the legs(which are the same as Dharok's), so get either dharok or torags legs. Veracs is extremely useful for the prayer bonus and for duels(I wouldn't go into BH with it and risk the helmet, but w/e). Veracs skirt is the same as torags legs except for range defense, if I remember right. In my personal opinion, Dharok's is completely worthless, and so is Torags with the exception of the platelegs, which could be substituted for Dharoks. So my rankings would be... -Guthans -Veracs -Dharoks -Torags(completely useless if you get full Guthans and Dharoks) I just assumed that you were only considering the melee sets. For the other two, I would say get both of the tops/bottoms, and then use an archer helm and farseer helm.
