quick slayer outfit question
Proselyte legs have a little more prayer bonus(1 or 2) than the skirt, but yes, that is a decent combo. Degradeable skirt, though.

Black Demon safe spot
I'd suggest that you use the humongous, blatantly obvious, safespot in the chaos tunnels room. You'll be able to see it just by walkign in. The corridor-like northern section of the room is completely safe, because the demons are too fat to get in. They also spawn safespotted at a comfortable distance. Have fun.

Fire Wave or Magic Dart
Maging metals at any level is a waste of money. This is especially true under even level 80. if you're dead set on throwing your money away at a pretty fast pace, then use fire bolt with gauntlets. if you want to waste even more money, then your best bet would be fire wave.

Killing guardians for kalphite task
Just kill the soldiers(but not with a cannon, more melee and hp xp that way). Ifyou're getting irritated by soldiers, I find it hard to believe that you will enjoy killing gaurdians.

68-70 Crafting, 61-70 Herblore
Possibly try selling to that rogue that you free after Summer's End? I haven't seen any discussion abou him, but if he buys at GE or high alch or w/e price, then it could be a decent source of income with jewelry training. I'm going to look into that myself actually...

Can I Do GWD?
Pfft range is lame. if you can't stomach training it like me you'll do fine with 85 if your other stats are up yo par. 85s across the board with 70 prayer/agility and at least 68 summoning for could measure will have you set.

quick slayer outfit question
Well I use proselyte and some other weak things, but in most cases that's a pretty big loss in protection. Don't forget that not everyone has 99 defense  Don't worry about the repair costs. If you really can't stand the minimal loss in money, then use a dragon skirt/legs with a rune, rockshell(to avoid a few "noob" calls, same as rune), or granite(to garner as many "noob" calls as possible, while having the best stats) plate. You did not state how many coins you have to work with, but if you have at least about 25m (never use all your money) sub in a bandos plate/tassets.

Luring Prime northeast
Can you explain exactly what you were trying to achieve while doing this? that method(walking slowly in the center of the cave) will always get supreme and also rex if he is not already safespotted on you which is...bad. If you want to be able to range prime on the rapid setting as opposed to longrange, just run south along the east coast a bit while it is attacking you and it will move over enough for you to use rapid. make sure not to go too far and get prime on your mage or take some hits from rex yourself. If you were trying to do something else...explain?

Crystal shield at Avansies?
In my opinion it's better to just use an obsidian/granite shield for range defense if you don't have a DFS. Crystal equipment really is outdated now...the 8 or 15 defenssive points gained are not worth the cost of charges in my opinion, and if you are using the shield frequently, you will end up wit less defense than granite/obsidian before you recharge.

Summoning shards - How to get them?
As you can see by the difference in me and pulli's figures, you can't rely on one pouch to swap forever. Make sure you check prices before you buy. Also, it's best to use pouches that are commonly trained with(ie crimsons) because it could take ages to get a reasonable number of blue pouches.

Summoning shards - How to get them?
OK, since everyone says you're the best summoner here :P , another question: does it matter which pouches i buy? Example: gold or crimson pouches? or green? Not really, but some good ones are Geyser and Swamp titans... just do some random guesses, but don't buy pouches that require one gold to make (Rune minotaurs, ect) or are made from gold. Test out some random pouches. Randomly testing could lose you a lot of money :shame: Just divide the GE price by the number of shards that you get back from that specific pouch. Multiply 0.7 by the number of shards that it takes to make the pouch. This is one of the few cases where Jagex does not round down, by the way. I actually think that they universally round up for pouch swaps \ So swamp titans, for example cost...2324 gp in the Grand Exchange. You get (150*0.7) 105 shards back for every pouch that you swap. So with titans, the cost is (2324/105) 22.13 gp/shard. Swamp titans just happen to come out evenly, but with most pouches the returned shards get rounded up(I think).

Summoning shards - How to get them?
With swamp titans it was like 21.9 or something similar each the last time that I checked, but yes you could get them cheaper by collecting junk and paying 20ea or so. the question comes down to whether or not collecting junk is worth saving 1 or 2 coins/shard as opposed to effortlessly buying pouches off the Ge to be swapped. Is anyone who it is that sells these pouches? I've been expecting it to stop being efficient to buy off the Ge for a while.. EDIT: Oi excuse the broken sentences...my keyboard is in overtype for some reason, anyone know how to turn that off?

Dark Beasts
Unholy book was suggested to make your prayer pots last longer, which it does magnificently. It was also suggested that godswords are more efficient than whips in this rare case was it not? and the 3 extra prayer points would theoretically be better, aye? I have no experience on the issue...just going by what others have said.
-
Waterfiends
I would say even 80s in the melee stats with at least like 70 magic and 60 prayer would be borderline ok at fiends. That is out of the question for a ranged pure...I think, they can be ranged though. Just much more slowly and inefficiently than meleed.

BGS or Whip??
DFS sucks for training. + zammy brews / sup sets That does not make a DFS "suck" less, to put it bluntly. Any combination of potions can be used with any combination of weapons. Definately used a defender while training(except against dragons, obviously). In most cases, if you're asking whether or not you need a godsword, you probably don't. The ONLY good uses for a bgs in my opinion are Bandos gwd, Zamorak gwd, DKs hybriding, First form KQ, and dark Beasts(from what I've heard, no personal experience). If you don't do any of that often... So get a whip. And spend your leftover money on buying some new useful armour or training up a few skills.

What is wrong with the salve crystals?
Tip.It's main site has a guide.

What is wrong with the salve crystals?
They disappear when dropped now? Wow that's lame. I got 3 that way when I did the quest. don't see why they would change that...

d slayer gloves??
I think that the 10% accuracy bonus is worth more than 12 range bonus from barrows gloves, so they are probably better when ranging. I'm not sure wheter 12 accuracy and strength are better than 10% accuracy though for melee...You definately have to be wearing them for the xp bonus, though.

Mithril Dragons: How To Kill Them
You shouldn't be burying any bones, because they are worth almost twice as much as mithril bars. and I wouldn't take any food over monkfish. You might be getting drops too fast to have space without wasting some if you do.

TRaining Whip on controlled really viable?
Well a higher attack and strength level will allow you to do damage more quickly, but ahigher defense won't. So shouldn't having the highest possible attack and strength before training defense be the best option? Now I'm not suggesting 99s in both before you start defense training, but that should be faster, although impractical.
-
Mage
Not the fastest, but in my opinion the best. I'm betting that the fastest would be barraging skeletons on ape atol...or possibly some lunar spell. Humidify has been said to be good, and also the string amulet spell.
-
TRaining Whip on controlled really viable?
Well you seem convinced already, but I'm hesitant to belive that 1/3 of the time that it would take to level evened melee stats from 80 to 90 is the same as leveling defense from 80 to 90 with 90 attack and strength. For the second scenario you would be using a whip for 80 to 90 attack, ss for 80 to 90 strength. I'm not sure if I explained that very well, but whatever. As you said, you are already convinced.
-
90 slayer worth it?
I'm pretty sure that most people who go past level 83 or 85 like slayer(my favorite skill) so if it has to be "worth" it to train for you. I would say no.

Financial Advice
Don't buy a DFS for slayer. You said that you don't have "any" good armour. Does that mean that you don't have guthans? If not, get that. Also, a black mask is a must if you don't have one. Like someone else suggested, train summoning up to a level that you're happy with. I haven't really been paying attention to prices, but sara and bandos migth be close enough now for you to upgrade. A BGS is useless if all you're doing is slayer.

New familiar?
Armour for summons is kinda pointless. Most familiars have uber high def and HP. I've never had one die on me, although I came close with a Terrorbird against Spiritual Mages. I don't see how you've never had one die... I go through 2 spirit dags/task at mages. I always wondered why they had such pathetic magic defense...anyone know if wolpertingers or fire titans stand up better against magic attacks?(can't think of any other magic based familiars). Looking at your stats I dunno why as ours are similar, mine are a little higher but I've been slaying mages for months. Terrorbird gets a few hits, usually in the mid teens but usually I kill the mage in 3-4 hits so it's on me mostly. The mages only ever attack the familiar if the familiar is attacking them first. Well I attack them all(well 3 of them) and then let my character/dag auto kill them, still surprised that the hits that they get in aren't adding up for you...
