Quick Penguin Question
It's always 10.

One small question about GWD (Bandos in particular)
I'm guessing that you don't make GWD trips very often(disregarding bandos). Brews and restores are the standard at Arma, and withoujt a familiar and low defense, you won't last long. You could do ok at Sara I guess, but zammy would be great for you if you can find a team. Kril easily has the weakest defense of the four, so he's the only one where ranging is really acceptable in my opinion. Tanking is out of the question, obviously.

Solo KBD Setup
That's why he wanted to use lunars, and sacrificing 30 extra spaces(I don't see why you would use a turtle instead of a cow, aren't they a lot cheaper?) for a decentish fighter and maybe 10 seconds saved per trip is not worth it in my opinion. You could also throw in those FOG slayer gloves if you're on task. They are MUCH better than barrows gloves ranging and debatable, I think, for melee.

Level to trade pouches into shards?
There's a list of required level in the kb. EDIT:

A Few Rates
Not really an important question, but I was just wondering if there was any difference in the drop rates of unique items between the 4 factions. The number of drops per trip seems to be even, but Sara trips for example, usually have a lit less than double the kills as at Arma, and then there's the 70 to even over 100 kill trips at Bandos. I haven't been to Zam in about....20ish combat levels so no idea what it's like there to be honest.

clue scroll help
By the way just use the coord list instead of the locator unless it's a new clue, which I'm guessing we won't have for a while.

Need Some Equipment Advice
You are forgetting that you gain at least ~2-3 attack and 2-3 Strength levels, too. Also, defense does help as well. 7 Atk levels < 19 Slash, 5 strength bonus, 3 str levs. If what you're saying is true(which I've ehard something similar a while ago but didn't think i was referrencing levels) 2-3 more attack and strength levels would make focused training even MORE efficient than 1(guessing that's what the bonus would be for controlled) attack, strength and defense level. Also, no defense has NO effect on the rate that you gain exp whatsoever if you never heal(which is the case on most tasks with bunyips). Also, I seriously doubt that level 90 attack would beat 83 attack(should actually be 93 vs. 81 going by what you said) and 19 accuracy/5 strength. I'd need some tests to prove anythign either way, though.

CHARM DROPPERS?
Uh...Maul, reread the list, mate. Might want to toss in bloodvelds for the list of green droppers, but greens are horribly suckful for training, and there is no reason whatsoever for you to hunt for them.

Need Some Equipment Advice
Not meaning to hijack your thread, but I've seen this statement repeated in various forms over and over. can someone PLEASE explain to me how this is true? Let's take the levels of 80 to 90 in consideration, not even going as far as to max out... The rate at which you gain experience is entirely dependent on the damge that you deal, correct? Also, damage dealt is affected by your attack and strength levels with no direct input from defense, correct? If the two previous statements are indeed correct, then how is it possible that you would get the expereince from 80 to 90 in all 3 melee skills faster while training controlled than you would if you were to train attack and strength to 90 initially with a whip and sara sword using their respective focused options? Using the focused methods seperately, you would reach your maximum potential to recieve experience(90 attack and strength) faster than you would reach your maximum potential with controlled training(and then you would not be trainign at maximum speed at all what with already being done). If you train in the order of attack, then strength, and then defense. Then the time that it took to finish your defense trainign would be shorter than the time which it took to finish your strength trainign which in turn would be shorter than the time which it took to finish your attack trainign because with focused training each step aids the next. Based on all that stuff tha I just spewed, I see no way that a whip on controlled is faster than a whip on focused attack, sara sword on focused strength, and then whip again on focused defense. The lower rate of experience gain from the lack of a defender is not great enough to cause enough of a slow down, and since you trained attack already, you have 10 more levels to make up for that loss of 20 accuracy bonus. Also, I'd assume that someone with 90 attack and strength using a dragon scimitar would deal damage much more quickly than someone with 80 attack and strength using a whip, do to the fact that I think that levels carry far more weight than equipment bonuses. That statement however, has no proof or evidence whatsoever and is merely my opinion. So please, please explain to me how

What lvl for Duradel?
I've used duradel since level 100(like 99 F2P at the time), and plan to continue doing so until 99 and possibly a bit passed that. definately get dragon slayer gloves from FOG if you're at least 70 slayer, the gloves help A LOT on dragon tasks, I doubt that the accuracy matters much on lizards blue and under, though.

HELL YESSSS!!!!!
You should get a whip and guthans. Then go kill kill ice giants until you get bored of missing out on the VAST majority of the game which requires at least a few basic quests. Also, unless you want to get from 95 to 99 strength with a rune scimitar(or controlled via whip) get monkey madness done, because I doubt that you'll make enough money to buy a sara sword with your current attitude.

KBD with GS?
Oi that's right I keep forgetting about that sword, really need to get one of those...

Bandos GWD
There is no good money making method that *requires* a DFS. Sure they're nice to have at Arma, Sara, or DKs(if you don't have a godsword), but there are decent replacements in all of those situations. You probably will make your money back with a BGS, but you didn't specifically say how much more you would need without liquifying your bank. If it's not too much, you could probably just keep earning the difference while BGS's probably drop a bit more.

Fishing question
Mining rock respawn rates are still dependent on the number of the people on the server, but fishing spots never actually have to "respawn." I seriously doubt that the number of people effects the rate that you personally get fish while at a spot at all, but I don't have enough experience to say for certain either way. Spots definately do move around more when there are more people at a spot though, which is why I tried to find less crowded worlds when I was shilo fishing since those spots move very, very far :wall:

Spirit shield
Just out of curiosity, is there any specific reason that you want these pictures? Seeing them seems useless to me personally, so I"m not going to invest any time in looking for pictures, but you could try a google or youtube search for "spectral shield," "elysian shield," "etc."

KBD with GS?
For future referrence, magic protection prayer only effects leather dragons'(including brutal and the king) breath. Bronze through mithril dragon fire is not effected at all, and I think that the use of magic protection while veracing is to avoid the magic attacks constantly hitting because you have a pathetically horrible magic defense. Also, you can *definately* get more kills per trip with a whip+dds(I've heard that a d long on stab is actually better than a whip for the KBD and miths, possibly steels) and shield over godsword. Of course, using a godsword is much less boring, but you can last longer on an inventory of sharks with a whip than a godsword, and the more frequent eating(missing a turn of combat with a slow as hell godsword has a much larger impact than it does with a whip) counter the increased accuracy of your hits.

Untrimming Your Capes...
Off topic, but I've been wondering this...What exactly makes untrimmed HP "impressive?" I'll probably end up getting 99 HP first whether I want to or not...and I'm guessing that it's the same for most people who don't care about training skills past their levels of usefulness just for the capes.

armadyl equipment+invy
I'm assuming that by "68 defense" you meant 68 summoning. My setup which *I* think is extremely efficient is... Equipped -V helm -stole -arma plate -arma skirt -rune x bow -zam book -snakeskin boots -accumulator -bracers -mith grapple Invent -tab -bolt pouch(255 broad, diamond, and ruby bolts) -pony scrolls -1 prayer potion -2 normal restores -7 super restores -10 brews -2 fire runes -2 law runes -3 prayer potions Turtle -2nd turtle -pony -16 brews Explanation I tele, run throught the crack and down, grapple in, drop the grapple, and equip the broad bolts. There's an open spot from the teleport runes for bars, and one for a swordfish. Kc usually uses about 6 doses of prayer pot, and that opens a space for me to be able to switch between ruby and diamond bolts(you can't open the pouch in combat which is a horrible design flaw in my opinion but whatever). Don't forget to put your kc bolts back in the pouch. Wait till you are down by about 30 hp to brew up, and use 3 brew doses at a time and then 1 restore. Try to use the normal restores when you need HP restored but not prayer. The remaining prayer potions are for later on in the trip when you have food from drops and healing from your familiar when you won't be using as many brews, which means you won't be using restores at much, so your prayer might get low. Just shoot at it with range protection prayer on(and maybe the range and defense boosting prayers of the different percentages based on how much prayer and HP you have left), and switch from ruby to diamond after it's passed half health. Umm...hope that helped...I'm not very good at explaining things and I'm tired so...sorry if that was useless or whatever.

Range with HIGH PROFIT
Black dhide would be better at blues for the occasional melee hits that you will take if you pay as little attention as me, also you should probably take an antifire shield in your inventory to switch to if a dragon's on you.

Bandos Question
Well if you don't use the troll mountain tele at all you still have to sacrifice a space for the boots...but I guess that's only 1 as opposed to 2. If 2 extra spaces really mean that much to you, you could take 4 laws and fires, tele to the mountain, drop 2 items, bank and grab 2 of whatever you dropped, then tele back to the mountain and pick up your dropped goods for a full inventory.

When is Guthans better than a bunyip?
If you're thinking of using the lvl 79 titans to heal on tasks...don't. It's much to expensive and it's only 4 more hp/minute than a bunyip. the defense bonus along wit the healing is nice at DKs and such, though. Alxo, when using a fighting familiar on tasks I personally like to attack several at a time, and let the familiar kill one while I kill the others. I guess that this wouldn't work too well on stronger monsters though...

Bandos Question
I agree with everything that the abov poster said except for this...what's the purpose of taking tele port runes? You lose 1 inventory space(not as important at Bandos, but still wasteful), and you lose the "panic button" option...I can't think of any benefit that you would get except for avoiding the possibility of a mis click and accidental teleport.

Range with HIGH PROFIT
Still waiting for this strain of humanity to die off... On topic, I'm pretty sure that aviansies are the best range money maker by far, but you could try mith drags. It's usually constant profit if you do it ight, and there is always that off chance of a visage or shiny red hat.
