  1. Don't bother with bandos boots. Even if they have range defense(which I doubt but will check), it's minimal. Just take along snakeskin or ranger boots. Dragon boots have 0 range defense, so they're useless while ranging+taking range damage, but keep them for other use. EDIT: Yup, 0 range defense. With a negative 3 range attack to further dissuade you. Completely useless.
  2. "Heat of battle" The specail attack bar recharges in exactly 5 minutes, and the summoning bar takes 2 minutes, if you happen to care. Don't know about the potions, though.
  3. You have to put in a little mroe than 1.2m for 1 week I believe. Like 1.25m or something similar to end with 750k. In either case, I just put in 1.3m in case I forget ffor a day or something.
  4. Sorry to double post, but it looks like this topic faded into obscurity. It looks like we got the price for helmets updated, but all four hilts are still labeled at 0 for the high alchs.
  5. Exactly. I know that we used to have something similar, but it didn't get much traffic, and I'm guessing it's been removed.
  6. Get a bandos plate if you want something to show off. Personally whenever I see a kid with a d chain, legs, etc, I just see some noob who doesn't know what to do with their money, but that's just me \ Good luck on getting a ss, though. On topic, if you can use Duradel, do it. I switched as soon as I got level 100(the 4 free summoning levels got me to 100), and I haven't used any master since, excluding Turael...
  7. Exactly what I would have said. Having more coins sitting uselessly in your bank doesn't benefit you at all. Maybe if you had something that you needed to buy, then selling would be almost reasonable(never sell guthans ever). I would definately advise against wasting your time tryign to get points quickly... slayer helms really don't have much of an effect for slaying...the only real change is that you can use a black mask for dusties, besides that...it just looks nice and gives a bit more defense. I'd suggest that you stick with vannaka or chaeldaer(not sure of your combat), preferrably the fairy, and you'll get better tasks with better drops.
  8. from his stats I'm guessing that he's around level 95-100, so soloing the wraith might end up badly...but I'm sure you could easily hold a world with a partner. I doubt that it's even as crowded as it was after release.
  9. Then sell your plate and buy guthans...you'll be getting much more use out of it, and bandos is less than 10 more range defense than a barrows plate, isn't it? and 4 strength boost is completely useless unless you decide to whack rex with a staff for some reason.
  10. Why is a DFS even being considered? If I remember right they require 75 defense...
  11. Whip and DFS are better than BGS for training, that I know, but I'm not sure about monster hunting or whatever it's used for. Yet a whip and defender are better than a whip and dfs, so that's a useless connection. That's for higher hits. A whip + defender is when you don't need the extra defense, a whip + DFS is for strength plus the defense bonus. 20 accuracy has a lot more of an impact than 2 strength. I doubt that that will even increase your max in most cases. And training monsters are generally weaker in regard to their offense, so extra defense usually isn't needed.

  13. Whip and DFS is better than a bgs for...what? I've always wondered why people made that comparison... On topic, get guthans. You don't need a bgs.
  14. Hm...Did you ever have to treat them for disease? If not, I have no idea.
  15. Kill Bork once a day(you can kill him daily after you do the Hunt for Surok miniquest), and I've heard of cannoning the mage walruses in waterbirth, but no personal experience. Suqahs also have a decent drop rate... the tormented wraith is a great blue charm dropper and it has all those other nice drops too, you could possibly try your luck their(don't know if every world is still crowded).
  16. 10 workers on raw fish and 5 on coal is the maximum possible profit(I'll check that in a bit), but I'd suggest 10 on fish with 5 in maples if you care about farming at all. If not, fish and coal is the best option EDIT: Nope, flax has passed coal...
  17. I'd say train attack 5 levels and then defense for 5 levels, because you will be getting xp faster during the defense training if you already have a high attack.
  18. If you do decide to go with MTA, the enchanting section is the best for magic xp, I believe.
  19. At sara you barely even take any damage anymore so i don't think that the effect is even required, and I just abandoned zamorak, didn't know many people still went down there... In either case, an elysian or divine(I'd personally go with elysian) shield would ouperform the DFS in theory, I have no personal experience with either and have still not seen any of the new shields being put to use, just a few richards showing off their new toy.
  20. I like how you always reply to a thread just saying what others have already said, without adding anything :|. If you're not a pure and/or maxed, just using a whip on controlled is the best. If yes, just follow what troacctid said. I have seen so many people claiming that controlled training is the best method, but only attack and strength increase the rate that you get xp, so wouldn't training attack and strength up individually and then training defense while you have a higher attack and strength be faster than training all three at a slower rate?

I don't think that demons have the defense to justify a godsword, whips(and sara swords obviously) tear through them relatively easily.
  22. Last time that I checked, fire titan pouches were a good deal cheaper than 10 scrolls, so buying them to convert was the most efficient method. This may have changed, though.
  23. wioneo replied to 3PointMan's topic in Help and Advice
His answer was not very polite, but in all honesty he is right. You probably won't be able to get the maximum(just under 70k/hour I believe), and your best bet would be to go test it out for an hour to see how you perform. Everyone does things at a different pace.
  24. I owned a fury for a short tiem and ended up carrying around a glory in my inventory which annoyed me to no end, and the bonus from the ring is not worth the price tag in my opinion, also I still have faith in a ring of wealth for some reason... if you want somethign to spend that money on, you could always buy 84 glories like me to minimize the number of times that you have to recharge. 84 Glories add up to the price 1 fury by the way, or at elast they did, maybe I need to update my stack...
  25. Well for one it gives a great prayer bonus, two spending/risking that much for a couple million gold drops is pointless... And the defence difference isn't going to make a big deal. ~ Captainkidd He won't be losing the plate or tassets if he's maging(unless he decides to bring other expensive things that are completely unnecessary). Just use guthans...if you're going with hybrids you won't have to be praying so the prayer bonus really doesn't matter, virtually infinte health is very useful, though. If you don't want to take guthans, then use veracs. Spins really don't do enough damage to justify losing an extension either on your prayer or health.
