Quiet Before the Swarm 24-Jun-2010 & Free to play quest changes
Nice there is another quest update, any good rewards? About the Rock climbing boots however:

Reasonable melee exp and reasonable k/h
Stats? Slayer is decent money and nice exp. You can also fight DK's or TD's or even go to GWD but I dont know if your stats are good enough.

Time for a new boss?
how many % of total players has maxed total? I bet it's less than 1% I do agree with you that they payed quite some money wich means they should get something back for it, but they cant expect jagex to release high level content only.

Time for a new boss?
When I walk around in my homeworld I hardly ever see people with 115- combat these days. And if high combats really are a small % of the entire runescape population, the lower combat levels get something to aim for with a new boss. Possibilities I can think of: - The unopened door at Godwars. - Kalphite King. - The promised out-of-Daemonheim dungeoneering monsters. - Or they could add rare drops to existing drop tables if they are lazy....... The idea of a dragon defender sounds really cool! You probably see alot of high level players because either you do alot of high level stuff (boss hunting?) or your friends are high levels + there are more high level players in p2p. Also, the argument that low level players have something to aim for fails epicly, because they already have the bosses to aim for, they dont need any new ones, thats the whole point...

Time for a new boss?
There is no need for a new boss, most players can't fight Corp, go GWD etc. You should not forget that most of you have (very) high cb and total levels but that you are just a very very small % of the entire runescape population.

Best way to kill Jungle Skywerms?
There is not much special about them, they are quite easy to kill. Melee if you want melee exp, range for range exp. Make sure you have a super anti poison potion and beware of their 'special' attack. That's when they disappear underground and come back up, wich can hit you for 300 damage. Goodluck

Stats for monster hunt
But for them I need to double my QP's wich is a pain in the *ss to me, is it worth to do it? And how long does it take to finish them? Around a month, or even longer xD

Stats for monster hunt
Ohai there, I was thinking about making some good money, but the only real way to do this is by monster hunting (like GWD, DKS TD's etc.) Obviously my stats are way to low for this, but what is the minimum level I should get my stats to so I can make some decent profit from monster hunting? Also, what is the easiest (statswise) monster to fight for profit? Dagganoth Kings? Thanks in advance

Prestige Fail?
Already find out what I did wrong, forgot to reset  :wall:  Sorry to waste your time :-o

Prestige Fail?
I only reset once

Prestige Fail?
Today I was dungeoneering a little bit and reached lvl 37 wich means I have acces to floor 19. After I did floor 19 I did not level up, thus couldn't acces a higher floor. I've reset the floors and started with floor 1 again, as i've been told to do over 9000 times. I've been told that you get less exp for floor 1, but the prestige from floor 19 raises the average alot --> alot of exp. This is how i've done it before and it works. But... I did floor 1 with 19 prestige and got only 33 exp since I got ZERO exp for prestige 19 :S Is this a bug, or is it me failing? (did it all with complex. 6)

The Most Uncommen Thing in Runescape
It's a little sad everyone is complaining about proper english. Remember that not everyone is english and you should be happy that other people (except the french maybe ^^) are willing to learn a second or third language. Most of the people around here have high combat levels (115+), that means they play runescape for a longer time than the average player, thus have more friends and a better position in the rs community. Since most of the 12-year olds (and others, not only 12-year olds act like noobs) dont have a high combat level, 'normal' lower level players will meet them more often than higher level players, because for most of the time, you interact with people about the same combat level (higher level players have more higher level friends than lower level players). Therefore it's logical some of you (or actually most of you) will say that the amount of noobs is very small and that the topic starter is exaggerating. But the fact that you dont meet / see noobs, does not mean they do not exist. I guess that the average runescape player meets those noobs far more often than you do. To be honest, I do think that there are alot of 'normal' players and that the existing view of the runescape community is wrong. Most people I meet are friendly and act normal, but I know from my own experience that with advancing in combat level the amount of noobs I met became lower. They dont try to crash you anymore when you are fighting, they dont try to steal your spot anymore when mining etc. because they know they can't 'win'. That means that not only you go away from the noobs, but the noobs go away from you. There are still noobs out there, but now irritating lower level players instead of you.

Don't you think it's kinda lame and arrogant to have Private Chat set to 'Friends'?
I have the feeling that the higher someone's combat level, the higher the chance that he or she has turned his private and public chat to friends or off. I alway's have my private and public chat on, no mather what.

profit while training mining or good smith exp
Isn't the Port Khazard bank closer?

I need some cash, how to get it?
For Aviansies see this guide: http://forum.tip.it/topic/160631-the-ultimate-aviansie-slaying-guide/ (or google / youtube for aviansie guide) You can choose to tank them but you'll need a little cash for the gear (don't know how much excately, it's in the guide) You can also choose to fight them with prayer boosting gear and prayer potions. For sinister keys see this video: Sinister keys are used to open a chest in the Yanille agility dungeon. Upon opening it you'll get 9 herbs (wich herbs and the amount of herbs is always the same). It's just north of Yanille and to enter you have to slash a web and cross an obstacle. You will need a slash weapon and super anti poison potions since you get poisoned when you open the chest. Use of a BoB will increase your profit, but it's not a must. Also, keep a few energy potions in your bank, or use the Oo'glog pool. My inventory setup used to be (without BoB): 1 super anti poison potion, 1 monkfish, 3 sinister key's. The monkfish is used to heal when you fail an obstacle. When not needed (because you did not fail) you can drop it in front of the chest because you'll need that one inventory space for the last herb. Ofcourse, with high agility or a BoB you should change your inventory setup.

What to summon
Yes i took a look at that guide too, but the problem is that it only says wich pouches can be usefull to make. It does not say wich are the most efficient, so I was wondering if someone here from the forum knows a good way to level summoning efficiently.
-
What to summon
I want to get my summoning up (49 atm) and I was wondering what the best thing to summon is exp/money wise. Wich gives best exp for the smallest loss? I've read a few guides from the Archive of Wisdom and one said Pyrelords, is this correct? And till wich level? Thanks for anwsering

Need help on money making
Sinister key's are pretty good. I just tried it. Started with 1000k, bought 10 keys, sold herbs, ended with 1106k --> around 10k profit per key. I can't say how much time it took me to do this because I made some misstakes (like forgetting the key's and only taking antipoison :wall: ). Best would be a BoB, but I did it without one and could do 3 key's per run. Don't forget (super)antipoison, slash weapon and 1 / 2 pieces of food can be usefull if you keep failing the balance log. Other options: - Green dragons - Making diamond bolts - MTK + Farming runs in between - Aviansies

4 Questions
Tnx everyone for anwsering, especially Nifflin  . I think i'll just continue slayer, since it's not too bad, and level up other skills with the profit from slayer. I'll use penguin points for herblore.

4 Questions
As the topic title says I have a 4 questions: 1. (Herblore) At the moment I have 52 herblore, but I'd like to have 55 so I can make super strenght pots. What is the best way to train it without losing alot of money? 2. (Slayer) Since I do slayer alot I have some slayerpoints. Last time I used all of them on slayer dart runes wich got me a round 600k. Are there more important things to spend my points on? (I have a slayer helm already) 3. (Money) I'm looking for a good way to make some money without using combat skills (like killing green drags / aviansies / slayer). I used to buy addy bolts + rubies/diamonds and make them into bolts but since you'll lose money with it i'm looking for something else. I tried to fish monks but it seems very slow exp and money + fishing is not the most exciting skill :( 4. (Skills) Looking at my stats, wich skill(s) should I definitely raise? I'm thinking about prayer or summoning but both are very pricey skills to raise (that's why question 3 :P) Thanks in advance for anwsering them \:D/

Rollback due to RC glitch
Wait with judging Jagex till you can login again. If they say 30mins, it'll probably be 30mins and not 10 hours

guthan's
I have full guthan myself and it's really usefull, especially for slayer tasks, but also other combat since it has decent def statss. During slayer you can wear slayerhelmet + weapon and switch to spear and guthans helm when healing needed. In the long run, it will save you ALOT of food, since you dont need food for slayer tasks anymore. Also, a Bunyip sounds really usefull, but it's healing is nothing compared to guthans and there is also a price tag for getting your summoning up (invalid argument because guthan's costs a few mill too?). My advice, wait till you have enough money to buy full set + 1mill (repair costs and other stuff).

New Skill Hint?
Maybe it's Ballooning :ohnoes:
