How many cut dragonstones can you buy per 4 hours at the grand exchange? I thought it was 5.000 but it seems to stop buying at 100 :o Cant make 3mill/h anymore this way :ohnoes:

Why not post this on the 120 stats thread? Or, for that matter, 50% of posts in general discussion. People like to DISCUSS future updates in which they think may help the game. And, as this is GENERAL DISCUSSION, it is, no matter how trivial, allowed to be here. I did not say that this shouldn't be allowed, only that I do not really see the point in discussing something that is clearly not going to happen. But, as I also stated, I can imagine some people find this interesting to discuss.

What is the use of posting this as this will never ever happen because these changes are far to different from the gameplay at the moment. What is the use of discussing possible changes that will never happen? Interesting post though.

Hi there, my new slayer task is 203 nechryael and I have never fought them before. Axe man Jack's slayer guide said that they are often skipped since melee is very slow against them. Maybe ranging or maging is an option but I prefer melee. I have a guthan's set, proselyte set, verac's skirt, whip, ss, fury, berserker ring, and usual gear. Also, I probably will use piety, super att, str, def pots and a bunyip. Stats are below.

Again a 'how to kill them' question. I have to kill around 70 of them and i've been trying to find some info about the best way to fight them, but 50% says range, 50% says mage. I'm thinking about ranging them with elemental shield, broad arrows and black d hide. Good idea, different set-up or mage them? edit: or block them as task ^^

I also get these messages and I'm never in a popular CC. Usually I get these messages when i'm in or near the G.E. They probably stand in the GE and just add random people and pm them.

After using 400 points cancelling all kinds of stupid slayer tasks i'm out of points and now i'm stuck with 77 steel dragons, wich I really hate (like all metal dragons). What would be the best (fastest) way to kill them for me? Would that be melee, with prossy, melee prayer, super set and whip? Would that be range with broad bolts and range potion? Would that be magic (wich spell?)? (I assume Brimhaven dungeon is the best place to kill them.) Also, is it worth to bring a Tortoise for picking up bones?

Another minigame, don't we have enough of them? I would like some new skill content tbh.

Like the title says, my kitten has trouble cathing hellcats (quest: RFD freeing evil dave). It takes me around 10 minutes to catch just 1 rat, wich is way too long. I've tried to let my kitten grow into a cat with milk, fish and a ball of wool but this seems to take ages. Also, how many spicy do I need for each stew? 4 from each colour, for every stew?

I think you mean this: I feel like the double xp weekend is just a gift to rich players. I'm not calling anyone rich if they enjoy it (I enjoy getting bonus xp too, although I don't like the way they're doing it), but it just seems to me that it benefits rich players more than the average player. Every bonus xp weekend they do, they will just manufacture more high levels who easely get rich. Whether this is a marketing ploy or just a "gift", it's terrible for the economy and really screws over a lot of people who got their levels the normal way before the weekend.

lol srry, i meant war tort. :oops: It's true that verac skirt + prossy + fury + soul wars cape give decent def but those are not easy to obtain at lower levels, that's why i'm mentioning it.

I recently got Piety and it can be quite usefull BUT it drains fast, wich means you need prayer boosting gear and prayer potions (7-5.k ea). The gear for a decent prayer bonus lacks good defence stats --> you'll get hit more often --> more food or a bunyip. My advice is to get 68 summoning BEFORE 70 prayer. I'm not saying piety is bad, but imo it's more usefull with a bunyip. (Also 68 summoning allows you to use a pack-yak).

They should have spend more time developing dungeoneering so they don't have to update it all the time. Waste of updates imo since I really hate the skill =,= (new rewards are quite bad)

You definitely want Karil's and a Verac's skirt before a fury, but fury > Bandos. If you're more of the slayer type, I can give you a list of stuff to buy and in what order to buy it all, if you'd like. Well a list like that would be nice, but it makes me feel like a noob for not knowing all this stuff :oops:

I'm working on 70 prayer atm and i'll go for 68 summoning after that. When i'm done with those two i'll decide if I buy a fury or not. At the moment i'm not really sure what to do because I still think that 16mill is alot of money for fury's stats and I could use the money for other gear (like karil's, verac, bandos, etc.).

Everytime when someone makes a 'how do I make money' thread the most common anwser is: 'try slayer, it's great'. I've trained slayer quite a bit and never lost money with it but also never had great profit. There are some slayer monsters who have good drops, but I rarely get these. I have probably slayed thousands of strykewyrms, gargoyles, dragons, dust devil's, etc. etc. I've had 3 hexcrest so far, 2 mauls and thats is. No dragon drops, ever, no other valueble things from clue's, nothing. Not even from my 2 elite clue's. I'm not saying I don't make profit with slayer, because I do, but with a little more luck I can and could have made millions instead of a 100kish trips. Today was the worst of all, 6 tasks done + 2 clues with a total profit of 300k. I know, this game is all about luck, but i'd like to have a little bit more of that. However, I still enjoy this game and I will continue slaying, but I just wanted to say this :mrgreen:

Thanks for all the anwsers :thumbup: I probably get 70 prayer first and 69 summoning after that. By then i'll see if I have to money for a fury, if not i'll just continue slayer.

70 prayer for piety? Does that stack with slayer helm and super pots?

Thanks for the fast respons. Atm I slay alot with Slayer helm / guthans / whip / defender / glory / ROW. Should I get a fury first? Or is there other gear I should get first?

Alot of people say that if you have the cash you should get a fury. I've compared it's stats to a glory --> +40 def, + 2 str bonus, + 2 prayer bonus. I don't really need the defence since I heal with guthans, normally I don't use prayer on tasks (since I can't use piety), so when I do use prayer i'll get a holy symbol (+8) and +2 str is not alot for 16mill. Also I can buy alot of potions or train alot of other skills for 16 million. Still my question is, should I get a fury with my stats or is there a better way to spend my (currently) 30mill?

Slayer \:D/ My stats are close to yours and I make loads of money from slayer.
