Royal Laiger - it took me like 5 minutes to think of it, I was thinking of royal something, and I remember Napoleon Dynamite and in it he mentions a liger and I just spelled it different Eyriecap - Used to play neopets, hence the eyrie (which was my fav. neopet, since it was the only one to not look like a cutesy plushie), and cap because eversince I got my hotmail acount (captaingoodguy) I have used that as a gamer tag, etc. Obviously I couldn't use Eyriecaptaingoodguy, so I went with Eyriecap.

Should relationships on runescape be banned?
Captaingoodguy replied to drowcon's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I have no problem with it. It makes for a fun time when you PM some guy looking for a g/f and tell him that most girls looking for a b/f are actually men. Those people make me laugh. But when a "couple" start talking dirty to eachother is way to far, they couLd at leat do that over the private messaging system, but it is already a bannable offense (Offensive Language). And I am not talking like: "oh I love you so much...", I'm talking about when they say stuff to eachother that is sexually explicit, thus reportable. As for the rich date thing, I am not sure if it would always be considered a scam, because there are some people out there who could be really rich and would prefer someone that is their monetary equal or something. For that to be considered a scam it would be a matter of opinion for the Jagex staff. And since they are already get ragged on pretty hard it would be a bad move for them. Because for something like this one staff member would see a scammer and another one might see an innocent relationship. Because of that I don't think that it should be considered scamming. -
Weildable Fishing equipment (Please read and comment)
Captaingoodguy replied to shawrty4's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I'm down with this idea, [joking]could we maybe have bronze through to rune cages?[/joking] But what about crafting, can we have wieldable needles. It almost makes more sense than having a large lobster pot in your weapon slot. -
Aren't dragon bones just dragon bones, no matter where they came from? I think the idea of a new range hat is good, I would have just one or two hats (headgear) that could be made from dragon bone. They'd be at like lvl 55 and 65 that you could wear them. To make them you'd use crafting, like all the other ranging equipment, not sure about the crafting lvls needed.

For me I like to use iron or steel, bronze is alright but I don't like to use it. For the steel arrows you can buy from the Rimmington Range shop, I buy 5 at a time when there are 1500 steel there. That way it only costs me 12 ea, but it is an extremely long process getting even 500 arrows. But you could still buy a decent amount of arrows from there considerably cheaper than from a player, i think every 5 arrows or so the price for them goes up by 1 gp.

How do people get 70 ranging so fast????
Captaingoodguy replied to Aneron's topic in Help and Advice
bobthesock: I'm 52 range (f2p) and I have been training on the roof of the varrock palace by killing guards. You only have to bring a little bit of food (I use trout), but if you want to spend extra time positioning yourself you can hide behind a fence. You shouldn't have to worry about killing all of them and having to wait for one to respawn because there are about 6 guards by the dummies. Also it is a very quiet place to train, whenever I go there it is usally just me. -
My best drop was a rune plate, some guy in full rune died at Dark Wizards south of Varrock, lol. That was a funny moment.

Do You Keep Your Music/Effect Volume on?
Captaingoodguy replied to x_bow80's topic in General Discussion
Yeah I listen to my own music when I play, and thats why I changed to low deatil all the time, its really annoying to log in while the music plays, lol. -
Ok thanks for the info, looks like I'm stuck with my wizard top and hat for now

I was just wondering if it would be a worthwhile buy. Do they give a good magic bonus, or any at all? And how much do they generally cost?

It's like my math teacher said: "there are only two types of people in this world, spenders and savers." The best thing you can do about this situation is just to stay motivated to work harder for what you want.

Off Topic: Why don't Jagex just shut down the F2P servers for week? It's not like the F2P would miss anything (BTW I am F2P, and what better way to get away from RS than having it taken away?) This would also give the staff that have to deal with the macroing claims some time off, when they get back they will be all ready to go and give those bots the boot. On Topic: I think this could work because there could be so many different questions Little Red could ask, like: 1) I have to go to Lumbridge which way is it (from Draynor) 2) ^ same question as above but from Varrock After they get it right then maybe they can have some sandwhiches or a red cape? But if they get it wrong then there should be a one hour minimum wait time before they can log-in (or some amount of time, maybe a whole day  ).

Friends list/Ignore list suggestion
Captaingoodguy replied to Andrew1788's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Besides, people are on the ignore list for a reason, and I'm pretty sure that if people saw who was blocking them they would spam them (with a different char. or a friend) or just be dumb about it. But the friend list thing would be interesting to see. -
The Runescape D.I.C.T.I.O.N.A.R.Y.!
Captaingoodguy replied to martindude's topic in General Discussion
I know it's more of a forum thing, but I just don't get what FTW means. I was thinking either: for the writer, or from the wicked. But what does it really mean? -
Back in the day: so I was asking for help (probably begging, it was a while ago) with a quest from some higher lvl, and he/she was like tip it. So I though: tip it? What kind of help is that. Then I googled it and well it was a great help, so whoever that was, thanks a bunch!

For me making a new account kept the game entertaining, I was sort of getting bored with my older account, but the downside is that I have a lot less money to buy stuff with than on my higher lvl, but that is one of the trade-offs for starting a new account.

The trailer was pretty rad, I loved the music, just made it sound so ominous. The only thing I'm hoping for is in multiplayer to have bots, because that just makes it so much better. Look at the original Perfect Dark, get 4 players and like 16 bots and just go at it, challenges or whatever you want to do. That is probably why I don't play Halo much, all my friends are way better than me, so its funner to play with them and not against them, with bots I can be on their team and rule!

I remember when I was young I used to "rap" all the time, I don't know why, I don't even remember being exposed to any real music unitl I was like in Grade 4. Another time: my uncle, who lives on a farm and has horses and that good stuff, tried to get me to put on some chaps (like in RS, but for cowboys :D ) and I said "you're never gonna make a cowboy out of me". And to this day I haven't tried on a pair of chaps, lol.

Rule breakers have no excuse now!
Captaingoodguy replied to Captaingoodguy's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
What I said "the rule breakers have no excuse now" it was more or less directed at those who are unaware of the fact that they are breaking the rules. I guess I should have explained it a bit more because not everyone can read minds :D I guess what I am trying to do with the questions on the quiz relating to the rules is to try to get rid of some of the ignorance about the rules. As for the rule breakers who know they are breaking the rules, well there isn't really much hope. Basically all we can do is try to keep the honest players honest, and try to turn the rulebreakers away from their rulebreaking by enforcing the rules and/or showing them how they are breaking the rules. -
It's just like ores, you get mining exp, smithing exp, and magic exp (if you high alch). On topic: If they did this they could have different lvl's for burning logs and burning bows. And I'm in the middle here, whatever goes.

With the age restriction set to play RS to 13+ it is clear that Jagex is trying to either avoid being liable or they are genuinely concerned. Either way I came up with this idea on how to make people think more about what they do on RuneScape. Here's the idea: Jagex makes a quiz, so that every 2/3months (not too far apart, and not too long) before you are able to log in you have to answer some questions (5-8) correctly. These questions would not be too difficult, and should be logical to figure out. They could also ask questions pertaining to the rules, so that would make people familiarize themselves with the rules and maybe find some things that they were doing are against the rules. Here are some sample questions: EX. 1 (kind of a weak question, but I'm sure you get the idea) If someone ask you to tell them in which city you live and your street address what should you do: A) Tell them B) Report them EX. 2 (this is one of the questions concerning the rules) Using a third party client to log on to one of your accounts and logging on to another account of your's is alright. A) True B) False If a person gets one of the questions on the quiz wrong then they have to wait a certain amount of time before they can attempt to log in again. When they try to log in again they will have to take the quiz again, and if they answer all the questions correctly they can play, if not then they have to wait. Also once they have answered the questions on the quiz correctly they will not have to do the quiz until the next time Jagex decides to do it. The questions for the whole month will be the same, but order of questions and answer will be randomized, so that you actually have to think about what you are reading. Well I'm done now, so I'd like to hear some other opinions on this.

I was one off too, what a weird day that was.

Nope, I play on low and I still saw it. It's pretty rad! -
Should Moussai have gotten the death penalty?
Captaingoodguy replied to Deeno13's topic in Off-Topic
If he does that, then it's another win for us. He'll be remembered as the wannabe who killed himself for nothing and not as a martyr. I'm not sure about that, because if he commits suicide then everyone will have their own opinions of how he died. At least if he's alive no one can say that he was murdered, even if he did commit suicide. -
You have no idea how many time I have tried to examine players and accidently sent them a trade request, lol. I am in favour of this idea!
